Amazing Service
On Tuesday afternoon I discovered that my elderly father had been living in the most squalid of circumstances. This came as a huge shock so trying to process this along with the fact he was in hospital, it was a huge relief that I found this company.
Frankie was reassuring when I was explaining it all, he provided the details of what was needed and what services they offer. He was respectful throughout our dealings to arrange the clean for Thursday.
They arrived on time (8.30am) which was really good considering the distance they travelled and rush hour traffic etc.
Elena and Irena got straight into it, they were also respectful of the fact that regardless of the state of it, it was still my father’s home.
I cannot believe the transformation and cannot thank them enough for taking a huge weight of our minds.
I hope I don’t find myself on a position to use the services again but if I do I would not hesitate to contact them.

Emotionally Insensitive and Unprofessional
I've rated one star because whilst the cleaning work was decent and the cleaning team were polite, the emotional sensitivity and the professionalism of the company was not. This was the part that was important to us in such a delicate time.
I hired this company for a trauma cleaning service after an unattended death. I asked several times to give me a time slot so I could prepare my grandparents for the visit and was told that I would be told shortly. After payment I received no further communication. Instead they arrived the next day with no warning and caused severe distress to my confused and elderly grandparents. I had to rush around to their house to explain what was happening and calm them down. Not something anyone wants after a death in the family.
I have contacted Ideal to raise my complaints but the apologies I received back can do very little now to undo the damage done. I've written this review to warn others who may be contemplating hiring this company after a family death.

First time dealing with moisture, condensation and mould issues in my flat. Based on reviews and navigating their website approached Ideal Response. From my initial enquiry, sales exec Jessica, was helpful and understanding. Surveyor Peter was thorough, answer every question I had, explaining the survey as he went along. Email responses from Jessica were prompt and detailed and appointments arranged to suit. Technicians Henry and Istvanh were equally excellent - arrived bang on time, friendly and reassuring; you knew you were in good hands. They understand that these situations are concerning and are there to help. Their knowledge and professionalism gave me the confidence from the outset they would deal with it. Explained each step of the remediation work and chemical used. Great guys and highly recommend them and the company.

Major water damage from burst mains pipe
We had a major problem when a mains water pipe connection in the loft of an unoccupied house we were selling came apart and caused a huge amount of water damage. Ideal Response were immediately contacted and took swift action. They sent in a team to clear all contents and strip out damaged ceilings, floors and woodwork prior to bringing in the driers and dehumidifiers. The whole process took 8 weeks until the all clear was given to commence restoration work. Our contact at Ideal Response was Kian Baker who we couldn’t praise enough for the way he liaised with the team and kept us informed of progress. The whole process was dealt with expertly and efficiently, and our concerns and questions were always handled by Kian sympathetically and with expert knowledge. We would highly recommend Ideal Response to anyone with a similar problem.

Today we had the company come to sort out the black mould in one of our bedrooms.The lovely Young man who came to do the job was brilliant. His name was Joel. I was impressed with him as he was very efficient and cleared up after he was finished, so no mess.

We had a mould problem in our confidential container and Ideal response were quick to quote and book us in to treat the problem. Joel and Henry were so helpful, friendly and informative and worked hard to remove the mould and leave everything clean and tidy. We would recommend using this company.

Absolutely Excellent
The first person we contacted about a split in our oil tank said he wouldn't touch it - too difficult and would cost over 100K to fix. In a total panic I googled and found Ideal. What a lucky choice - Andy was with us within a few hours assessed the situation and even though it was freezing, pouring and incredibly windy he had a team out very quickly to stop the leak and get a temporary tank up. They then dealt with the clean up - it was a long job, but having Mihaly, Dameon and Sam around was really a pleasure. They went way above and beyond - the whole area looks much, much better than before with the minimum of fuss. Nothing was seen as a problem - these are all really experienced and highly skilled guys who made a nightmare so much less stressful than it could have been. They worked so hard in pretty horrible conditions with such a positive attitude. So thanks to Andy and all the team at Ideal - I do not hesitate to recommend this company.

Ideal Response were brilliant. I have never used them before and from the offset their staff (Kian Baker in particular in sales) couldn't have been more helpful. Joel and Henry came to site promptly to clear the oil spill. They communicated well, were really accommodating of the visitors we had on our site throughout the time they are clearing up. They were friendly and worked hard to get the job done to a really high standard. I write this while the surface is still wet, but it looks like they had totally removed the oil as best that they possibly could which is all we would ask for.
