I just wanted everybody to be aware of identityIQ.com, I tried to tell them Several times to cancel my account. Itold them time and time again I COULD NOT AFFORD ANYTHING RIGHT NOW, but they always talked me into a lower monthly payment. Even though I told him I can't afford anything. However they would not give up And I stupidly stuck with them on the new lower rate Thank you and I could come up with that between now and then but I was stupid.
And they were very, very, very persuasive Each and every time it has come back to bite me i* t** a**. My credit score is gone up By 60 point, since I've signed up with them. And my bank account has been over drawn twice. and feel like They're only goal is to keep taking your money at a lower rate monthly. And they're good at that don't falling to their trap. If you don't have the money to pay for them, please just tell them to stop and cancel your account and don't let them talk to you anymore. And most important, obviously, they can do the service for a lot less monthly. Because they have dropped mine monthly payment 3 times before. I finally told them not to talk to me anymore. I'm calling to cancel my account, so they are overcharging. Everybody on top of everything else. Just wanted to give you all it heads up. I'm gonna post this many, many more places. Oh, and they won't refund you money. By the way, customer service is really good. But don't listen to it, they're to say if you don't have the money, tell him to go to hell.

I spent over 45 mins on the line yesterday with credit specialist Jessica and she is the epitome of customer service! She exemplified all the critical components of what customer means and what most of not all companies have moved away from! She educated me on additional products and services you all provide and guided me through adding my utility bill to help boost my credit. She displayed confidence, calmness, patience and made sure I had all information and tools to make the best decision for myself to be successful in the future related to monitoring my credit and the company supporting in monitoring any identity theft. She was extremely professional, displayed an abundance of active listening skills as well as excellent problem solving skills! Many organizations talk about moving into a more customer focus customer centric method in providing a great customer experience which is rarely the cast. However, you have a winner on your team and she is absolutely the definition of a great customer experience and me walking off the phone feeling extremely confident and very well educated! So kudos to Jessica and thank you for having such a great employee who cares but a future leader!

These 5 stars are for Vick. He was super helpful and patient. I was transferred to him from the rep that answered my call. She tried to answer my questions but sounded like she was reading her responses. I even asked her if she actually understood what she was telling me or if she was just reading the computer screen. She said she did understand and that she has the app on her cell phone. But if I had to bet money on it...I'd bet she was just reading the screen. Vick on the other hand...very patiently, answered all my questions and explained everything to me in laymen's terms. There's still ALOT to learn about the Bitdefener app that I haven't figured out yet. I'm sure Vick would've answered all my questions, but I felt bad because I had taken up an hour of his time already. He emailed his contact info to me and said I can contact him any time I have questions. Great customer service!

The patience of Mark the helpful Representative who walked me through the step of downloading software onto my iPhone. Usually, I get nervous when someone is helping me on a computer because I don’t always understand over the phone instructions but Mark did not act bothered by me taking a little while to find which link to press or what to do as far as what buttons to press. The whole experience went faster than it usually does and that is all in the calmness and genuine kindness Mark possessed. I cannot thank him enough because that interaction with him turned out to be the highlight of my day. Thank you again for helping me understand what Bit finder does as far as security goes. Very VERY difficult to cancel.
Also, I got scammed. I was looking for a house to rent on craigslist and when I called, the lady directed me to the IDIQ website and asked me to sign up. I found out later the rental add was simply a way to get me to sign up for IDIQ, not a real add. Then, it was nearly impossible to cancel.

I won't give only one star because the service provided is actually good. My gripe is if you wish to cancel your subscription. You cannot cancel from within your account online. The only way to cancel is to call customer service and do it over the phone. You will be on hold no less than 30 minutes, likely much longer though. Anyone old enough to remember what it was like to cancel an AOL subscription back in the day will know what is coming next. They will try every angle possible to get you to not cancel, or choose a cheaper plan. If you are determined to cancel no matter what, you have to be a bit rude to the operator. I understand they are just doing their job and reading from a script but you have to be firm with them and once they understand you are serious then it gets a bit easier. They will still make offers to the very end of the call, however, after you've made it clear you're not playing, these futile offers become weaker as the call comes to the end. Good luck.
