Camper van was ok

Camper van was ok, and drop off was quick and helpful. Collection was a little chaotic though and my camper van was down graded the week of collection from the one I booked.

This company is a nightmare to deal…

This company is a nightmare to deal with for customer service! There is no number to contact only the depots themselves which can vary in there service as well. Here's the story, so we tried to book via online and at first we could even pay on there website. After 5 attempts they sent us a link so we could pay.
Then we had to confirm we even had a vehicle ready at anchorage before we got there which took another 6 times to confirm. Once we arrived the vehicle was there and the staff nice but very unorganized from the terrible online system that everyone must use to complete the pick up, which we could do. After 2 hrs we could finally leave and enjoy our journey.
Now upon drop off! Everything was checked and given the okay that our deposit would be fully returned. This did not happen, instead we are charged $567.80 for milage of 877miles when we had unlimited miles package! And now I have tried several times to speak with customer support and no body as responded as you must go through their AI chat box and await to be contacted, its been 16days of this and now im going through my bank to get the money back.
I would avoid this company for the operation of there website and support, its ridiculous.

I don't know that it was great but it…

I don't know that it was great but it was fairly easy to navigate. I wish each listing told what items are provided as opposed to having to guess. It's not clear why some of the items are listed as optional. Why three chemical tabs? What happens if we don't get the tabs? I would have liked to ask a person about several concerns.

Sent me an email titled "Good News" to disguise a downgrade

Booked and paid in full ($3,726.55) for a "Comfort Standard" campervan months in advance (Booking 8KVVGJ, Anchorage pickup). Six days before pickup, Indie Campers emailed me with the subject line "Good News about your Campervan Booking" - the "good news" was that they had unilaterally swapped my confirmed vehicle for a smaller, less capable one, dressed up as an upgrade. It was a downgrade, and they knew it was a downgrade; the cheerful subject line was simply deceptive. My account then showed a third, different vehicle, and a "paid amount" of $7,677.30 that never actually left my card. When I asked for a refund, I got 16-hour response times, an agent who signed a message with a different name than the one on the transcript, and two different reps who gave me contradictory reasons for the change (one said the engine blew up, the other said the van was totaled) - both promising callbacks that never came. When I finally got someone to "escalate," I was told a manager was unavailable and offered a 5% refund under their basic cancellation policy, despite this being their breach, not a voluntary cancellation. I had to book a replacement RV elsewhere for nearly $1,200 more. Still unresolved as of this review. Read every email from this company as if it says the opposite of what it claims.
