ING is more profit orientated than customers orientated. Advice was give only after the loan release payment was done. It can not be undo the payment and I wonder why the advice was not inform to client for better loan release decision.

They are not attentive to their clients needs. I've been banking with them for many years. They often block your account for no reason and it is hard to get them on the phone to find a solution.
I'm a stockholder and have an important loan with them so I have the impression that they are not respecting the stockholders and this can be considered moral harassment.

A customer of ING in a different country for many years where I never went into debt or missed a payment. I move to Germany and they refuse an account without giving a reason. Vague answers via email also suggests a poor customer focus.
Started with nice offers and managed to have gathered a lot of customers from other banks all over Germany. However, increases its charges every 6 months and is intolerable for me.
Its excuse is that it has offered very low loan rates. So what? Shall other customers pay for that it has offered low rates?
NOT! this is a total scam. I opt out right today. I'll move to N26.
How can I speak with someone in english??? it is one of the reasons I openned an acocunt with you.
My telebanking is blocked, have no acess to my account, and it is impossible to reach someone in english!!!!

I received my VISA card and now it is 3 weeks since I received it, but I can not use it because I have not received Internetbanking PIN and I have not received VISA card PIN.

I had a bad experience with N26 and needed an account for my salary. I filled out the paperwork for ING but was still a bit confused. I ended up calling and had to request an English speaking rep. The rep was great. Super patient with my long winded explanation. He put me on a brief hold to gather info and by the end of the call I had a pdf in my email inbox with my new IBAN. Overall a good experience. I’m hopeful the banking experience will be a good one.

The best Bank I ever had. By ING since more than ten years. They are always there for me. They never complain when I don't have money. And the best, for my usage, their service is basically free. Last, probably one of the best banking app. I highly recommend ING Deutchland.
I just applied for a Giro-Konto with ING Diba in Germany and my application was turned down without providing a reason. I am a German National who has lived in the UK from the age of 16 and have recently moved back to Germany after living in the UK for 16 years and working as a management consultant for one of the Big Four's. I have a registered address, am employed with a very good salary, never had any debt or legal issues. My application was rejected after being asked basic data via their app - one issue could have been that the app does not allow for oversea address entries for „previous address“, so I called ING and was connected with a less than helpful assistant who told me the decision was made and there was nothing he can do - including the provision of any rationale or information as to why my application was turned down. The best he could do was to say that „he understood that I was not happy with their decision“ and that „I had no right to an account with ING“. I tried to explain to him that rather than being unhappy about being rejected,I was more confused over what had happened and hoped for information to prevent being turned down by other banks - this was met by silence. His attitude was extremely unhelpful - I get that it’s a private banks prerogative to reject customers but this surely can’t be done based on a name and address? Just to reiterate - no credit checks were made, I wasn’t even asked who I am currently banking with. So it appears that ING does not want a private customer of German nationality who has never had any debt to her name, a very healthy salary and a steady job. I will obviously look for another bank but would encourage ING to take a closer look at their customer service or the customer service the call center they employ provides.
Really fast process, loan process completed in 3 days
Very bad experience. I am waiting on my credit card, and other things that they need to send via post from Dec 21. Now it's Jan 8. I didn't received nothing since. I contacted them via email, since I don't speak German. They said they sent a new card and it's on it's way, but still nothing. The only way to contact them is through email and phone call, no live chat or ticket or something. And they reply in email with few words only. Like my last email they only said ur card is sent again please be patient. I am literally starving in germany, since i can't receive my salary cuz I dont have a bank account.

Quick and effective, and the customer service representative spoke excellent English!
Horrible customer service
They do literally everything they can to prevent you from contacting them. I simply need to find out how to get more than 12 months of account statement (terrible to start with that this isn't available), and they have me jump hoops for over 20 minutes in their phone menu before ultimately ending the call without letting me speak to anyone.
