Second visit and still very happy with the quality of the repair and the overall experience. No fuss, everything was made clear to me, easy to book car in, drop it off and they always kept me informed of progress. Staff were friendly, approachable and polite. I will definitely use them again

Great service again; professional, helpful and work always of a high standard.

I regularly visit In n Out Kettering Road in Northampton for MOTs & the occasional repair. Jamie, Simon & Bill especially are great guys & always do a fantastic job. It's just a shame that they are clearly overworked, under appreciated by upper management & under staffed.

I used In and Out Warrington for a service and also a Battery replacement, Sid dealt with me today and was very helpful answering my queries and giving me a fair deal with my needs. I would recommend this establishment. Speak with Sid (Siad) if you want to be treated in a fair way wirh fair prices. I was also accomodated with an earlier slot as there had been slight miscommunication on my appointment time.

First time using this IN n OUT Autocentre.
In a word.. Awful,.. you must avoid this place ...we had 4 tyres fitted and they have damaged 3 alloy wheels.
they could not find the locking key which was in the glove box so because of this we "lost our slot" had to wait unti 5.30pm to collect (we dropped off at 11am) so, 6.5 hours to fit x4 tyres.
I think they damaged the wheels on purpose because I complained about how long the job was taking. Manager not overly friendly also. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE POOR LEVEL OF SERVICE FROM THIS OUTFIT WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN.....

Brilliant service every time! They handle MOTs for both our cars within a month of each other and make it completely hassle-free. Staff are always welcoming and friendly, and being able to book and pay online makes life so much easier. The waiting area even has a hot drinks machine and water dispenser – really thoughtful. Highly recommend!

As a women I was scared to go to a garage by myself but the staff were so helpful and patient. I am so relieved and happy with the whole experience.

Ordered 4 tyres from Asda tyres for a BMW 6 series, booked in at in at In and Out Autos Wednesbury for fitting. Ordered from Asda on Monday Fitting is due on Friday.

I have no communication at all from In and Out until I arrive when I am told we cant fit the rear tyres only the front as they are to big for our machine.

No apology nothing, I am asked do you want us to fit the fronts and leave the rears.

If I had wanted front tyres only I would placed the order for front tyres only. I ask what should i do about the rears to be told "I dunno mate"

The person on reception then tries to blame Asda Tyres for arranging the fitting with them even though they say they can do it and they must know what they can fit, after all its a big tyre but its not a truck tyre.
Perhaps an apology would have helped but to simply try and point the finger at another company is unreal.

How can you sit on an order for 5 days knowing there is an issue and then deny any accountability, or is it simply we get paid for fitting the front tyres and "who cares" about the customer.

The guy on reception wants to learn some customer service skills (I admit I wasnt happy and did swear) but he clearly did not give a dam. just kept asking "do you want the fronts fitting"
Unreal, my advice before booking any work here is to make sure they can do the job before booking.

Went to get my tyres and brake pads changed. Booking was smooth and quick. Work completed within the day at reasonable cost and excellent customer service experience. Will definitely be using them again.

The team at Kettering Road Northampton are absolutely brilliant. They've looked after my Micra for years, and have been outstanding. Realible and trustworthy. Highly recommended!

I was a loyal IN'n'OUT customer for over 10 years, using the Lady Bay branch, Nott'm, for every MOT, service and repair on both my previous and current car. I also recommended dozens of friends and colleagues because, as a woman driver, I'd always felt I could trust them to be honest and fair.

That all changed after a change in management at the branch.

Following a necessary and warranted formal complaint about the branch manager's (Jonathan) attitude towards me, including his attempt to over-charge me, I was assured the matter had been addressed. Instead, I felt I was treated with hostility every time I returned. This was quite a different attitude compared to when Richard was the manager!

In February 2025, I paid cash for a replacement tyre. On the drive home, the tyre pressure warning light came on, so I stopped at Morrisons at Gamston, W.Bridgford, to check the pressures. Their air machine was faulty, forcing me to return straight back to the garage to have all four tyres checked before they closed.

Five months later, during my service and MOT, I was told all four tyres needed replacing because they were all worn, and a few years old, and all being the same age. I queried this immediately, as I'd paid for a new tyre just months earlier. I was also advised I needed an air conditioning filter and related work that IN'n'OUT themselves had carried out less than a year before.

After weeks of chasing, I was asked to visit the Newark branch, where it was confirmed the air conditioning work was not required. However, IN'n'OUT claimed there was no record of my tyre replacement. I will also add at this point, that soon after I was told by the Ford garage that my tires were not in need of replacement and had at least another year left on them!

Although I'd paid cash and couldn't find the receipt, I provided evidence supporting my account, including call logs, WhatsApp messages, and a voice message recorded on the day confirming I'd just had a new tyre fitted at Lady Bay before stopping at Morrisons because of the tyre pressure issue.

After five months of chasing, countless unanswered calls, and no returned messages from my direct calls to both the Customer Care Manager and the Area Manager about this serious and concerning matter, and my complaint seemingly disappearing from their system when I spoke to Agents in the Call Centre, I was finally told by the area manager that they would be doing nothing.

After more than a decade of loyalty, hundreds if not thousands of pounds spent, and many customers sent their way through my recommendations, I found this response utterly unacceptable.

Even more concerning is that IN'n'OUT could not explain why I was quoted for work that wasn't needed or account for a tyre I paid for but which appears never to have been fitted.

The complete lack of accountability, poor communication and disregard for a long-standing customer have destroyed any trust I once had in this company. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them and would advise, steer clear - no pun intended.

I have a very old car whom I do not wish to part with. She failed her MOT and required some quite difficult parts to source. However they were found and now we are reunited!! Very reasonable for the amount of work it took!

Terrible experience at the Spalding garage. Not only did they charge me £600 for the work done which has now had to be re done by another garage. On top of this I drove my car into the garage but after they worked on it I then had to pay to have it recovered to another garage. Plus the guy Andy in charge was very condescending in calling me “love”

Have been using In n Out Kettering Road for about 5 years. the team there have always been great. The guys are always friendly and I've never had concerns or issues after a visit. Would certainly recommend this branch!

I always take my car to In & Out. They are fantastic and always do a first rate job for me.
