Overpriced for horrible instruction

Overpriced for horrible instruction. I have been driving for a very long time, mostly in the US, but also in the UK. I took lessons as a refresher before my test and the instructor gave me misinformation and bad instruction (confirmed by the examiner). Don't waste your time or money with this company, their customer service was also horrible.

Very good service

Very good service. The intensive course was quick and efficient, I passed on time and was pleased with how easy it was to book around my schedule. I am also very pleased with driving instructor Tony Arnold who was assigned to me. He was very patient with me and was a brilliant instructor.

My Experience

My Experience – Wouldn’t Recommend

I really tried to have a good experience with this company, but unfortunately it was disappointing and stressful.

I booked my crash course on December 31st and was told I should expect a test within 1–2 months. I understand there are delays due to backlog, but if you’re paying for a service, it should be delivered within the timeframe promised — or at least clearly communicated if not.

They took far too long to book my test. I had a holiday planned in April, which I told them about in advance. Despite this, they booked my test for May 2nd — just a few days after I was due to return. I asked if it could be changed and was told no, that it was the only one available. Feeling pressured, I initially locked in the test, thinking I had no other option.

But later I sat down and asked myself: why should I be forced to take a test I’m not ready for just because someone else decided it was okay? I expressed clearly that I wasn’t happy, but they kept pushing, saying things like “other people are fine with it” — which felt dismissive and unprofessional.

Then came the excuses. At one point they claimed they didn’t have my phone number — even though they had already sent it to the instructor and confirmed it to me in a message. That made no sense and felt like they were just trying to shift blame.

They also accused me of having “malicious intentions” just because I locked in the test at one point — when in reality, I was trying to give it a go before realising I wasn’t going to be ready. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable — just to be treated fairly and not pressured into doing something that didn’t work for me.

I also booked a 10-hour course, and I didn’t feel that was nearly enough time considering how close the test was to my holiday. When I called them out on their behaviour, they got defensive and refused to take responsibility. I asked for a refund and clearly explained I wasn’t satisfied with the service, and they still refused.

And when I told them I would be sharing my honest experience, they even threatened to take legal action — which honestly says everything you need to know about how they treat unhappy customers.

Save yourself the stress — this experience made me feel pressured, gaslit, and unsupported. A driving school should work around the student’s availability, not the other way around. I do not recommend them.

Appalling. You will lose your deposit!

Appalling company!
I notice the reviews on here do not reflect the other reviews I have since read elsewhere. If only I had known, do not waste your money here or you will be out of pocket.
They have an appalling portal system that does not work. They give dates for tests months in advance and then change them.
And if your circumstances change like my sons did, then you can forget getting any assistance through the telephone number they give out. And if you do finally get to speak to the manager - Jason (surname unknown as he will not provide it - even his staff don't know it)
When I tried to explain and resolve the issue, Jason was very unprofessional, he talked over me, became very rude and made personal insults. Needless to say I terminated the call at this point.
When we spoke with a driving instructor who had previous dealings with this company he said that every customer that he had referred to him had similar issues and they refuse to pay back a deposit.
It seems they deliberately make issues so that they can keep the deposit.
You have been warned!

Never Give Up!

Never Give Up!

After 20 years of starting, stopping, and life getting in the way, my sister has finally passed her driving test! As a single parent, she put her family first, but last year, I decided to give her a little push—a fast pass driving course for Christmas.

Today, she passed! An incredible achievement that proves it’s never too late to reach your goals. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it!

Intensive Lessons are unreal

Intensive Lessons are unreal. Did intermediate in an automatic, instructor was a proper ledge, and they fast-tracked my test so quick I couldn’t believe it. Passed first go!

Extremely unprofessional

Extremely unprofessional! Got a block of 45lessons back in October 2024. Had to wait to allocate the instructor until 14th of December. Wasn’t very happy with the instructor whatsoever as constantly late and cutting lessons quite drastically (10-15min late 25-35 before the end as most were 3 h a day . Unable to change the instructor sometimes late 1,25 h late after accomplishing 44 h I was ask to buy additional, instructor add £5 additional to each hour. When question: they couldn’t get another instructor payment to his person account was my choice regardless of instructor insistence. Aft57 h of lessons I’m still unable to take test as apparently I’m not ready . I’ve learned most things in you tube as instructor would make you so uncomfortable and quite angry. Comments really unacceptable each time . Main company hired him would be really unreasonable. All my fault, including being charged extra in fact they removed my account so I’m unable to download my feedback. Where’s costumer rights in this? I am personally offended. As from start to finish my rights will go unnoticed for their benefit. No solution no anything you have to pay in full just to find yourself without oppositions if you’re unhappy about instructor you loosing all week any other £25 for each hour! You like it or not you have no choice. Horrible position to find yourself in. But nobody cares. I personally think assigning instructior is very important, also any complaint should be taken seriously. Well not for them Everything is your fault. The conduct of this should and will be reported to the right authorities. We as the customers shouldn’t feel helpless. If i could warn you about expoyoure about to have… safe yourself money and time before you’re forced to participate regardless. Stay safe everyone xxx

Supremely unhappy with this service

Supremely unhappy with this service. They are a huge rip-off and do not give back any refunds. Unless you cancel your test within 20 days they don't give your money back and funnily enough the instructor only recommends cancelling your test within those 20 days so there is no hope. I would highly recommend a different service. I am severely disappointed and feel I have been robbed.

I had to get my money back from Amex because they wouldn’t refund me for not doing what they said they would

I had to get my money back from Amex as they lie about getting you a test date sooner within 6-8 weeks and they don’t. I wrote a review before and I noticed they took it off so my I’m ready to show proof to trust pilot of my order number. Oh and before I forget they threatened to keep the money and cancel the service if I started a dispute with my Amex card. Please avoid these people there’s other website that you can use. If you do decide to use this fraudulent company please protect yourself by making a payment with American Express because Amex will always fight for there customers and give you your money back as long as you screen shot everything as proof.
