Just got home from the most amazing time in Japan. I took on a 13 day tour with Intro Travel under the amazing leadership of Izzy!!
Coming from an ex tour guide in myself, I've gotta say, intro put on a great tour and Izzy gave us such a great experience. Highlights for me were karaoke nights, and spending time with the group! We all gelled really well.
But in terms of experiences, the samurai experience was amazing in a way I can't put to words. And the snow in Nagano was beautiful!
I've already placed a deposit for my next Intro Trip and looking forward to making that work in the near future! 🥰

TK is an absolute legend of a tour guide.

I did the 18-day Intro Thailand tour and honestly, it would not have been the same without her. From day one, TK was organised, calm, and full of infectious energy! She handled everything flawlessly from the chaos that naturally comes with a big group to super organised day trips that require a lot of fore planning, all with a smile and total professionalism.

She went above and beyond every single day to make sure everyone felt safe, included, and genuinely cared for. Whether it was sharing cultural insights, helping with personal plans, finding the best local food spots, or just being there when someone needed support, TK always showed up 100%.

What really sets her apart is her energy and heart. She brings the group together, creates an amazing vibe, and makes every moment feel special. You can tell she truly loves what she does and that passion makes the entire experience unforgettable.

If you’re lucky enough to have TK as your guide, you’re in the best hands possible. I couldn’t recommend her more, she turned an incredible trip into a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you, TK! 🩷🇹🇭

I went to Sri Lanka for a holiday. It was all Well organizers, i met a bunch of new amazing People, die a lot of crazy activities, had An amazing group leader whom organized evertthing and helpen with all our problems of issues.
I would really recommend everybody to go on An intro trip.

The accomodationd we're sometimes basic but that was okay. Although i saw some cockroaches in my last accomodations.

I had the best time during my tour with Intro Travel. My group leader Tommy Gadd went above and beyond to make sure the group was having a good time! The trip wouldn’t have been the same without all his hard work both in person with the group and behind the scenes. Tommy went that extra mile to ensure we were all having fun as a group and made my experience with intro travel one to remember.

This was an absolutely amazing trip! The itenary, locations and time spent in each place was spot on! Tommy was a fantastic and knowledgeable group leader and made it so easy to book into extra activities since he did everything for us. The vibe he created and getting everyone involved was superb with the small games and activities throughout the trip. Will definitely be back to NZ

I had the most amazing time on the Thai Experience trip this January. The trip itself involves so many different sides to Thailand which I loved including the national parks, beaches, jungle, cities and farms. Maddie and Willy were an incredible pair as our group leader & tour guide too, who both had such positive energy and was always there when you had any questions, hosting quizzes or having a sing song! Such a range of people in our group, but everyone was amazing and loved meeting people from all over the world. Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking about it.

I just finished the Japan Adventure 17 day tour with Isabelle Sampson as my trip leader. I really am devastated that we finished our tour this morning!! The entire thing ran so smoothly, the group was amazing and Izzy was such a kind, welcoming and knowledgeable trip leader! We got to see so much of Japanese culture through activities like origami making, onsens, soba noodle making and a samurai lesson! The views we got to see were also amazing!! Seeing Mount Fuji, snow monkeys and beautiful snowy landscapes in Nagano and our time in Kyoto were highlights for me! Overall, this trip really was such an amazing experience and I definitely am going to miss it! I hope to go on another trip with Izzy in the future!!

Just got back from the Japan Adventure 17 day tour with the best guide in the entire world; Isabelle Sampson! It was truly the best 17 days of my life and so stress free and full of fun. The biggest thing with travelling is always the stress of planning and organising which is why Intro is an amazing choice. I also had the best group leader ever so at no point was I ever stressing or worrying about anything because Izzy is the most organised person I’ve ever met. Izzy was also so knowledgeable about all things Japan and taught me so many interesting things that I wouldn’t have known otherwise. Had an absolute blast with everyone on tour and karaoke was definitely a highlight, as were all the amazing views (like Fuji!). Forever grateful for the experience and the amazing people I met, and I hope that I can get another tour with Izzy someday!

I just finished the Japan Adventure 13 days tour and I could not have been happier with my experience! Isabelle Sampson was our group leader & she was so helpful & knowledgeable. There was a good age range of people in our group but the majority was 20s and 30s with several solo travelers too! Izzy did a really great job of making sure everyone was happy and organizing dinners and extra activities when there was free time (for the people who wanted to). A lot of us liked having an extra meals & group activities because we got along really well so this made the experience really special. She had such good energy and it was contagious. I even put another deposit down & plan on booking another intro tour with her. Thank you intro & Izzy for a wonderful vacation!

My favourite destination to date. India is full of colour, culture and delicious curry! Dev was an amazing group leader and I highly recommend the trip with Intro.

Had an amazing time on my Japan trip. Everything was so well organised and the experience was unreal from start to finish. Lachie was a great tour leader — super friendly, helpful, and made the trip even better. Japan was incredible and I’d absolutely recommend this trip to anyone.

I had such an awful experience with intro. I did the east coast tour from brisbane and I was reassured many times sure over the phone from intro (prior to booking) that no1 would know each other. However this was a lie. I was joining the tour group mid way from Brisbane and everyone else had joined from Sydney. I was isolated from the group, nobody would speak to me despite making an effort numerous times.

From looking at the reviews someone also had a similar experience.

I just returned from the 13-day Philippines Island Explorer tour with Intro Travel, and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough! From breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable adventures to genuine cultural experiences and camaraderie, this trip was everything I hoped for and more.

Our group of 18 travellers instantly became a family and so much of that was thanks to our leader, Elay. Elay was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Full of knowledge about the Philippines: its culture, geography, history, and hidden gems - she shared insights and context that took every experience to another level. Whether we were exploring waterfalls, snorkelling crystal-clear waters, sailing between islands, or simply chilling on a pristine beach, Elay was there with expert advice, helpful tips, and infectious energy. She struck the perfect balance between leader and friend, fun, relaxed, down-to-earth, and always ready with support, encouragement, and a smile. Elay genuinely elevated the whole tour and made every one of us feel included, excited, and safe.

Highlights for us included awe-inspiring canyoneering at Kawasan Falls, snorkelling with the sardine run in Moalboal, the multi-day boat expedition from Coron to El Nido, and the rich cultural moments woven through the itinerary like stopping at a local school.

What made this experience special beyond the stunning scenery was the people. Elay nurtured an amazing group spirit that meant laughter, connection, shared memories, and new friendships!

I did the Thailand Experience trip back in October, it was my first ever Intro tour and it surpassed all of my expectations!
We covered so much ground, travelled to so many stunning locations and had SO much fun. From temples to elephant sanctuaries, cooking classes to beach parties - we covered it all. This was my first solo trip and I was so lucky to have such a fun group and made some amazing friends. Highlights for me were the floating bungalows in Khao Sok, so beautiful and I felt our group really bonded in this location. We hung out together all day, kayaking, boat trips, monkey spotting and group games after dinner. Koh Phangan and Phi Phi Islands were also favourites, equally as stunning and so much fun.
We had a few local guides in different locations of the trip and they were all so lovely, funny, knowledgeable and easy to get along with. Shout out to Joy who was a dream!!
Now onto Tash... The BEST group leader. I don't know how she did it but her energy was 10/10 every single day! She gave us fun facts in all locations, threw herself into every activity, kept spirits high even on the days when we were tired... and really looked after me when I was poorly. She checked in on us in our rooms every time we moved to a new location, making sure we had everything we needed and I truly felt like she was one of the group, not just a leader. She answered ALL of our questions... We were relentless haha but she always did so with a smile on her face. The trip would not have been the same without her!!! Tash brought us all together, was so inclusive of everyone and made sure we all had the best time. You can tell she loves her job and helped to make this the trip of a lifetime for me. Tash is one of the reasons why I've already booked my next Intro trip!!

I just completed the 12 days India experience with our group leader Dev and our tour guide Data. Both have been incredibly kind, knowledgeable and just genuinely supportive. I can highly recommend this experience to everyone that wants to have a great time, garlic naan and experience all the richness that India has to offer.

Did the Oz tour with Intro and had such a great time. Loved being able to sit back and let our awesome group leader Chloe do all the work whilst keeping us in the loop with some local and cultural knowledge along the way. Great experience.
