Italo impresa carnet not visibile. Called assistance to book! OMG
Italo impresa carnet that doesn't work. Had to call the assistance and ended up paying 7€ to talk to them as it ain't free. Had to hear that its a technical issue at their end. They later gave me a number to "call to book " my ticket. This is what it felt like in those early days when you had to call to book your ticket. Well, you know how that call went. Took like 10' to book. Italian customer service is the worst!

Beatrice at Bologna centrale was very helpful, very polite and very professional in order for us to get our tickets to Firenze. Don't loose her.

We used italo train on two different days to go from Torino to Milan. Both trains to come back to Torino was late for more than 1 hour... And just italo trains were late, all others was on time. Bad experience
You have a schedule? AVOID! ABORT! RUN AWAY FROM ITALO TRAINS!
If you are a tourist who likes to follow a schedule - AVOID Italo Trains! Its an awful experience, we left Florence train station and two minutes later the train stopped for 2 hours cause of an "technical incident". After two hours, instead of moving us back to the train station to take another train, they let us wait on the road for another one hour till we finally moved on. NOT RECOMMENDED, take the non private solution!

The business service is poor and they need to seriously look at these complaints. I was sold a ticket which had business lounge access.
In Milano this had a 1 hour queue to get in a ridiculously small lounge. In Torino Nuovo it does not exist. There’s a small lounge in Porta Susa but turning up 30 mins before the 90 min slot they turned me away, trying to sell me a ticket for an earlier train if I paid an extra €60. You’re just not up to providing for international business needs. I have a feeling with such ridiculously low score that nobody actually reads or actions any of this.
Hard to get a refund if
Hard to get a refund if you need to cancel your ticket. No good email and no answer on the phones.
WiFi
Staff very nice! But the place didn’t have vending machine or bar for long journey and the WiFi was impossible. How someone from another please would receive the SMS? Just connect without SMS.
1-Star Review
1-Star Review — Terrible Experience
Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service from Italo.
At Roma airport, an agent charged my Visa but, without properly asking me, selected the most expensive First Class flexible ticket, which I never requested. Her system wasn’t working, so she told me the ticket would be sent by email. It never arrived. When I reached the other station, I had no ticket, no physical confirmation, and no ticket under my name, but the money had already been taken.
Customer service was no help and treated me badly. They told me I had to submit a refund request and wait at least a month, even though the problem was clearly caused by their system.
I was under huge time pressure, lost half a day, and was left paying for a ticket I never received.
Terrible service, terrible communication, and absolutely unacceptable customer support. 1 star only because I cannot give zero.
Avoid
Worst customer service ever the staff are so rude and when they break a promise the response is Oh you just need to keep waiting.
One of them even threatened to sue me..
Awful!
Abysmal service on train
Abysmal service on train
No wifi connection for foreigners, it requires an email and a phone number and yet only the phone number receives codes. So if you don't have an Italian phone number you can't connect the Wi-Fi. I tried to contact the customer service and they ignored completely my complaint and that to me is a total failure of a service of a company that doesn't care about the customers.
And at the end the quality and comfort of the train it's exactly the same as a normal regional train. No special features no incredible cleanliness. But indeed the premium price.
So avoid this company at all cost it's not worth it.

I want to warn others: please don’t use this train company if you’re planning to visit another city.
Yesterday, we traveled from Rome to Naples and had return tickets for the same day at 6:20 PM. Unfortunately, our return train was delayed by more than 3 hours, which completely disrupted our travel plans.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this train company.
Good trains but the WiFi is the worst
Phantom Train From Florence to Milan
Italo booked a train from Florence to Milan but never showed up. Travelers BEAWARE that Italo have no customer aervice presence at SNM train station when they are suppose to have trains scheduled. There is no phone to call which I also found out. They have lied and said that they ran a train just to keep money they collected. That is called fraud.
SO NICE 容易下手也有優惠
Easy booking and competative prices
Stupid Italo train
Worst train ever. They always change the trains at the LAST DAMN MINUTE. This train should not exist, if I was given the choice to vandalise this train, I would do it.
Such a horrible experience with Italo…
Such a horrible experience with Italo rail today. I was told to go to platform 18 or 19 for a train that went from Bologna to Florence. Train was due to leave at 17:42 and did not arrive. No announcement on the platform board at platform 19, so I caught the 17:47 train from platform 18 which said it was 5 mins late and going to Florence. Apparently this was another company’s train and I was made to pay a further €80 on board, on top of the €30 I had already paid. Tried to claim a refund at Florence airport and was told no; it wasn’t their problem. Horrible experience.

On the Italo train, Avilo B was incredible!
Train 8914 from Florence to Venice.
He was so patient with all the travelers and offered exceptional service from boarding all the way through arrival. His kindness, professionalism, and calm attitude truly stood out and made the trip even more enjoyable.

İTALO THİEVES
If you choose Italo, be aware that, if you forget or lose an item on the train, the company will only direct you to the FindMyLost website, and since this process takes a long time, you will have already returned to your home country. I, instead, went to Venice to retrieve my bag and, with a huge effort, I got it from an attendant, but unfortunately, in exchange for a bribe. To avoid handling international shipping, I collected the bag by hand. However, when I returned to my country and checked the bag, I discovered that inside, my valuables—my gold bracelet and my Tom Ford perfume—had been stolen. I believe that these two items were singled out because the bag was carefully searched, leaving only these valuables. The lost property staff, in fact, combed through my bag with great care and stole my valuables. I had no chance to check it on the spot, as at the station, in a very isolated room, I was alone with an attendant, and I had to leave immediately. In short, for a bribe, I got my bag with the valuable items stolen. This was handed to me as an empty bag. The lost property staff at Italo are completely left to their own devices, and it is not a company you should trust based on appearances. Therefore, I must say that the companies like Trenitalia, run by the state, offer much more reliable and responsible service, in which lost items on the train are delivered to you without being rifled through. In conclusion, if you want, in this common situation of forgetting something on a train, your bag to be searched and your valuables to be stolen, I strongly recommend Italo.
