YONOBI was founded in 2016 by Nanna Egebjerg as a way to share her personal love for the craft. “I wanted to share the stories of the artists and their creations.” This has been and still is the core of YONOBI. YONOBI is focused on sharing the story of true craftsmanship, and we do this through all aspects of our business. At YONOBI, you will encounter ceramic craftsmanship in many different ways. You can go hunting for amazing, unique ceramics in our Treasury, where we present a unique collection of handpicked ceramics by artists from around the world. Our pottery classes are held in our studios in Copenhagen and Aarhus, where skilled ceramic artists help you explore the techniques of ceramic art - on the potters’ wheel or in our hand-building classes. Our Pinch-pot cafés are YONOBI's newest initiative. Anyone, regardless of age or level, can come in and sit at our cozy café and make pottery by following simple step-by-step guides. Regardless of your meeting with Yonobi, our key ambition is to open the doors into our world of creativity and ceramics. Our name is inspired by the Japanese YOnoBI (用美), which means beauty in practical objects made by craftsmen. Yo-no-bi consists of two kanji, yo (用), which means use or application, and bi (美), which means beauty. Together, they aim to balance the aesthetic and the functional.

Hi Neal. So sorry to hear that you haven't received your pacakge yet. Unfortuantly. all over-seas orders are experiencing some delays due to the pandemic and a high traffic at all shipping companies. From what I can see, your package is on hold in your local custom apartment, so once it has been cleared you will receive your order.
We are a small store, so our review invites, are unfortunately not manually sent out to each customer, they are sent out automatically every second week. So again, terrible sorry that you have received this email with a review request, before you have received your order. Of course we are not expecting a review before you have your order, which I hope you will receive very soon. We are terrible sorry for the inconvenience, and we wish you a lovely day. Best regards Nanna, Owner YONOBI

I think it was a great class

I think it was a great class, I thought the teacher was great. A nice person, helpful to answer questions and great demonstrations. It was great to have so much time on the wheel. I personally would have like some more technical explanations of how the process works behind the scenes and what is scientifically happening in the transformation process. Of course, there was a limited time - I think it would be very cool to add something like 'open studio hours' to come let students practice on their own and get to know each other a bit better. Something I'm not sure there is much to be done on - but sometimes when other students would ask questions in Danish I felt like I was missing out on learning opportunities. Overall a very good experience, looking forward to the upcoming classes!

Thank you Thank You Thank you

Thank you Thank You Thank you. The Kintsugi kit is perfect. The shipping time was prompt. Who knows what i paid since it wasn't in English.!!! hahahaha! I will be sending the Kintsugi repaired cup i worked on to someone dear to me. About 2 years ago she gave me a beautiful handmade cup she purchased in an artist ceramic pottery shop in New Mexico. The cup later fell and broke right in front of us. I kept the pieces and stored it away in hopes one day i could repair it. We are no longer friends though i wish we still were.. I have repaired the cup with the Kintsugi kit i purchased from you. I am giving it to her as symbol in hopes of repairing our broken friendship. Thank you for being a part of this story. Coach Lobo
