This morning I realized that my title name is mistake on Airticket and my flight is tomorrow so I got kind of panicked and called customer care without any expectation knowing flight is tomorrow and booking is done days back, omg Trust me the way customer Relation MS RENU... made me so calm and relax assuring me she will do the needful asked me for my ID proof. Within a second, not even a minute...WITHIN A SECOND I GOT A CALL FROM SAGAR CONFIRMING IT IS DONE SENT MY CORRECTED AIR TICKET ON EMAIL. THIS KIND OF SERVICE IS EXCEPTIONAL....SO QUICK IN RESPONSIVE AND PROBLEM SOLVING.
Kudos to Ixigo management to lead the team so professionally. Your team just ready to help customer. Congratulations to have such a great team...

They just play the fool with customer pretending to do something but they take any action,do not respond to calls or mails. Will never ever book anything through them. They have not bothered to action on a valid refund claim. just wait they will say we could not trace your booking details. Please check Ticket no.11491825 and stop doing this nonsense. Still waiting to hear from QA is it? keep doing this nonsense and I will keep writing a review.

This is the first time I have ever had to contact customer support, and unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst support experience I’ve faced on any travel app.
My issue is not just about the Alternate Travel Plan policy, but also about how your agents handled the conversation:
The support agents themselves were unclear about ixigo’s own policy.
I had to repeatedly explain the policy to them, yet they remained rigid and did not try to understand my concern.
Responses from the agents took 10–10 minutes, but despite this, my chat was abruptly closed with the reason that I was not responding, which is completely unfair.
The tone of the agents was rude and dismissive, showing no intent to resolve the issue.
This behavior is highly unprofessional and unacceptable for a platform like ixigo, which I trusted earlier. A customer should not be penalized for unclear policies and poor agent handling.

I always preferred ixigo for train bookings, but my recent experience was really disappointing.
On November 2025 I tried to book a ticket from Hyderabad to my Native place, but the booking failed because of an IRCTC app issue and the payment was deducted. The ixigo app (with notification and status) assured to refund the payment for the pending ticket or booking was not confirmed.
I still haven’t received the money, and this is 2026 January despite waiting for such a long period No one from ixigo has notified me about the payment.
This is the worst app, do not book train tickets from this app.

Worst experience with ixigo.
Pathetic customer support and zero accountability. Every time you call, you have to explain the issue from the beginning, and still they have no proper details or solutions. No clear resolution, no ownership just wasted time.
They lure customers with attractive deals, but once you’re stuck, it’s a complete mess. Felt like a total scam experience. Extremely disappointed and would never recommend ixigo to anyone.

Worst experience with ixigo i recommend to go other flight booking as MakeMyTrip, yatra, Goibibo.. ixigo app is one of the fraud application no proper customer support, even mails too.. I don't think recommend to ixigo in future.

One Executive from Ixigo team Mr. Wahid solved my problem within 5 min after our conversation while all other persons with whom I talked from 18th Dec kept me waiting for 24hours , then 12 hours , then 8 hours and so on. I was very upset then came this wonderful guy.

I’ve been a frequent user of ixigo for train bookings, but my latest experience left me really disappointed. On 10 December 2025 I tried to book a ticket from Delhi to Trivandrum, but the booking failed because of an IRCTC ID issue. The app showed the payment as “pending” and the ixigo support team promised that the amount would be refunded by 13 December. It’s now 18 December and I still haven’t received the money, despite sending them the booking reference and repeatedly reaching out. No one from ixigo has responded to my emails or chats.
I love the convenience of the app, but the lack of a timely refund and the complete silence from customer support is unacceptable. I hope ixigo improves their refund process and gets back to me soon. Until then, I’ll be looking for a more reliable booking platform.

Their Alternate Travel Plan is a Complete Scam for people, would not suggest anyone to use it , Its a way to just cheat people and take money out of them. They take money according to per person while booking, but even if one person gets confirmed everyone's money goes. Basically it is a compelte scam and so unreliable, they are literally just cheating people of money.
