ixigo has been a great and easily navigable application. The customer care has been wonderful and willing to help out the customers with every necessary position and authority they have. But the only issue is the delay when it comes to the refund which has made me work tooth and nail and until now I haven't yet recieved it yet hopefully I will receive it as time goes by. But Generally the application and ixigo as a cooperation is doing a great service. Thank you

My Experience With ixigo – Extremely Disappointing. “I recently used ixigo for my domestic travel in India and had a very disappointing experience. The service did not meet expectations.
I recently had a very upsetting experience with ixigo during a difficult time for my family, and I want to share it so others can be aware.
I had booked return flights through ixigo. Unfortunately, we had an immediate family member pass away, and I needed to reschedule my return flight urgently. When I contacted ixigo, I ended up paying almost double the original amount due to cancellation and rescheduling charges. Because of the emotional stress I was under, I went ahead and paid the amount without questioning it.
A few days later, I contacted the airline directly to cancel my original booking, and they informed me that a partial refund would be sent to ixigo. I confirmed with the airline that the refund had indeed been processed. However, when I reached out to ixigo to request the refund, they denied it and told me that everything had already been settled — which was not true according to what the airline told me.
This entire experience was extremely frustrating, especially during a time when I was already dealing with a family loss. I felt unsupported and misled, and I’m very disappointed with how my situation was handled.

I purchased Bangalore-Dehradun-Bangalore flight tickets from Ixigo. Their rates were marginally lower than other platforms for I have it a try. Due to change in plans I had to cancel my return ticket. Which I could not do from their website and cancelled from the airline website directly After 9 days of cancellation and not receiving the refund I found that you need to further go to their website and confirm your cancellation with the airline for them to process the refund. I have not had such an experience from other platforms like Easemytrip or Cleartrip and others. The Ixigo call centre is answered by an AI voice Tara and she sounds like she is scolding you. Terrible tone and could not figure out my issue.

I had a very unpleasant experience with ixigo. I booked tickets for two passengers for one journey (₹15,000) and three passengers for the return journey (₹27,000), paying a total of ₹42,000. Unfortunately, I had to cancel both bookings, and to my shock, ixigo refunded only ₹3,000 for one side and ₹8,000 for the return — a total of ₹11,000.
That means I lost around ₹31,000 even after cancelling within the expected time frame. It feels extremely unfair that a company can keep such a huge amount, leaving customers at a complete loss while they still profit.
I’ve tried reaching their support, but the issue hasn’t been resolved yet. I’m extremely disappointed and hope ixigo will review my case and refund the remaining balance. I’m open to discussing this directly if someone from ixigo’s customer relations team can contact me.

I'm writing this review to warn others about the blatant cheating and unprofessionalism of IXIGO, an online travel ticket booking company. I booked a ticket through them, and what ensued was a nightmare.
Firstly, the prices they quoted were significantly higher than other platforms. When I asked for a refund, they hit me with hidden charges and ridiculous cancellation fees. Their customer support is a joke - unresponsive and unhelpful.
What's worse is that they keep changing the booking status without informing customers. I had to chase them multiple times to get a confirmation, only to find out they had cancelled my ticket without my consent.
The final blow was when they refused to provide a refund, citing some obscure policy that wasn't disclosed upfront. It's clear they're more interested in making a quick buck than providing good service.
*Steer clear of IXIGO if you value your hard-earned money and sanity!*

booked a Kannur–Hyderabad flight through Ixigo and had to cancel on the travel day due to a genuine medical emergency (government hospital treatment, doctor certificate, etc.). The initial refund credited to me was ₹883, but IndiGo later confirmed in writing that ₹1,383 had been refunded to Ixigo, meaning ₹500 was withheld. Ixigo’s chat support repeatedly gave template replies, closed chats abruptly, and insisted everything was correct until I escalated. They also initially told me my medical waiver was rejected, but when I contacted IndiGo directly, they confirmed it was approved and processed the refund to Ixigo — after which Ixigo finally released the remaining money (including their convenience fee). To be fair, I did eventually receive the full refund after persistent follow-ups and a polite call from Ixigo, but it took weeks, constant escalation, contacting the airline personally, and maintaining proof at every step. If I hadn’t pushed, I would have lost money. My takeaway: don’t rely solely on aggregator support when a refund looks inconsistent — verify with the airline, document everything, and follow up firmly. The process definitely needs more transparency so other customers don’t have to struggle the same way.

I really don't like them AT ALL. They have received my refund from the airlines for more than a month. But they didn't give me my money, and whenever I asked them, they told me they would refund me within 24 hours. Then, after some days, I connected with them, and they still said the same thing.

worst service and app. Shows misleading information and no support on calling the customer care. Don't book tickets here, they are scammers. Deduct the money and then tell you the policies are worth nothing. They will send Rs200 on any cancellation. Every time you call they will send 500, 800... if you don't call they won't refund any amount...there is no courtesy and standards they follow. It's your bother and their business. Showed us on the that we are 100% eligible for refund and gave Rs200 of Rs3804 cancelled with in 24 hrs

I booked a flight from Ranchi to Bangalore through Ixigo but I fell sick and had to reschedule my flight. I submitted my medical documents including my blood test reports to the airlines. I got my refund after much struggle as this whole process was very chaotic and difficult. A lot of to and fro while I was sick but Ixigo customer support handled it very well.
I particularly want to call out Simran Rastogi from the customer support team who took charge of my matter and stayed on top of it till it was resolved.
While speaking to me, Simran realised how sick I was and she quickly became my advocate. She said "ma'am you don't have to worry or follow up. You take care of your health and I will take this up. I will call you and update you on this". I was skeptical if I will ever receive any call back because so far every time I called I spoke to a new person (happens with every customer care department no matter how big the organisation is). But Simran was different. She called me everyday and gave me a status update. After seeing my reports she was genuinely determined to resolve this and ensured that I got my rightful refund. Honestly I didn't have to follow up at all after Simran took over.
To Ixigo and to Simran- Thank you so much for helping me out and restoring my trust.
Simran, you have set the bar really high and a lot of customer support folks will thrive to get there!

I suggest won't book from ixigo.com. customer service too bad. Two times I faced issue. If you get any problem after deduct money, know body ready to solve your problem
