Excellent After Sales

We have recently found it necessary to make contact with JB Furniture regarding a minor fault with two of the four covers we purchased with the Patio Furniture some time ago. We were delighted and very impressed with their after sales. They arranged a complete replacement set from Bramblecrest free of charge. Well Done!

Poor service

Poor . The table has the smallest suckers you could buy to help stop a large piece of glass from moving, sent video of problem heard nothing back.
I ended up buying new ones

Good Service

Bought a 4 Seasons set back in May, the Luxor is really comfortable. We wanted a high back so that we can actually relax in the garden instead of the more common low back corner box sets that most people go for. The JB shop is extensive, lots of choice. Purchased the covers from the shop too, though they take 6 weeks from ordering they are worth it.

I paid nearly £1800 for garden…

I paid nearly £1800 for garden furniture in May 2020. Furniture arrived June however the table slats were faulted. Complained and was informed the table slays would be replaced. I appreciate there has been lockdown but it took until October 2020 before the table was replaced and I was the one who had to chase this. Same problem with the slats and the replacement table was a different shade to the rest of the furniture. Complained again had to send pictures (as if I would make this up) and was told they would sort this. Further lockdown so I chased this again in April 2021. Told it was being chased. Chased again in June 2021 and told it was being addressed with the rep. I was then asked to take in a stool to the shop for colour match. Matched stool colour with different style table in the showroom. I was told they would deliver the new table however when it came it was the one displayed in the showroom so not new. No apology from the company nor any compensation for receiving a used table one which I did not chose in the first place. My advice if you do buy from this company and there is a fault send the whole lot back and get your money back and do not buy the table with the slats. The lady who dealt with this was apologetic however the company as a whole is terrible and would not recommend them at all

Zero Customer Service

I purchased a garden furtuniture set from JB Furniture in February 2021 for delivery in May 2021. So far we have experienced a 3 month delay (the clock is still ticking), which whilst frustrating is not uncommon across many businesses at the moment. However, during this 3 month period I have received zero customer service from JB Furniture. I have never received an unprompted update, informing me that the last date provided is changing again. Only when I contact them for an update do I receive a generic response with another made up date. This has proven a real challenge when trying to arrange/rearrange outside family celebrations. In short, JB Furniture are too busy processing new orders to care about actually delivering on the orders that have been placed earlier in the year.

My recommendation is that you take your business to a company that actually cares about their customers.

As a sidenote, the irony of their "Platinum" trusted service awards winner email signiture is not lost on me.

Excellent customer service

Great communication prior to us visiting their Wakefield showroom. We travelled (1hr) up the M1 on 8th Aug. The store manager was really helpful. We saw the one we wanted, last one, on display, £999 (£200 off it). The wife wasn’t 100%, wanted brand new and was prepared to pay the full £1200 but they had none left in stock. To sweeten the deal the manager threw 3 scatter cushions of our choice in..... after a bit of persuasion the wife was happy and we we paid for it straight away. Delivery was arranged for Mon 12th..... spot on!

Everything arrived as ordered right on time and was set up where we wanted on our patio by the very helpful delivery driver.

This company has been going for many years and that shows through with their excellent customer service. It has a family business feel which is unfortunately getting rarer with time.

We really enjoying our garden sofa set, feels like we’ve gained another room! With it set to be a lovely bank holiday weekend I can’t wait to get out there and relax!

Very poor customer service

I have just ordered a garden parasol from JB furniture, which was advertised with free delivery The order and payment were accepted, but within an hour I had a phone call saying that "their courier didn't deliver to your area". I live in Inverness, which is on the mainland and has excellent road, rail and air connections with the rest of the UK. We have deliveries from all parts of the UK 7 days a week over a 24 hour period, so it begs the question - is the courier company doing all they can for the customer and the company? Perhaps this is something the company should look into more closely
The company response to my phone complaint about this extremely poor customer service was that they were changing web site ( how convenient), and sorry - nothing else they can do

Excellent service in a hurry

After being let down by one internet supplier, I contacted this company to supply the same goods. They arranged express delivery and were very professional and helpful. I would certainly recommend that you purchase from this company.
