I went into John Lewis in Cheltenham
To get euros it was closed so I then had to go to Waitrose (completely unacceptable) apparently they had no record that last November I purchased alot of Indosean dollars so I had to go through all the process once again I find this completely unacceptable and will therefore in future I will be purchasing my foreign currency at the post office complete waste of time in Waitrose!!

Without further details it's difficult to explain why the Bureau de Change at our Cheltenham branch was unexpectedly closed when you visited, however our Partners are always happy to assist as best they can, when asked. As for your visit to Waitrose, these shops are generally used as collection only locations for online currency orders, so Partners there will have no access to the systems required to look up any orders you've placed with John Lewis Money. Terrible service
ordered for delivery after 2pm on 27 June. Didn't arrive. Went to store to collect but no joy. Had to go on holiday without the money and pay a huge fee to withdraw cash when I arrived in the country.
To make matters worse I am still receiving emails to collect the money and although I contacted customer services about this who confirmed I would get a full refund, I am still waiting. Very disappointed especially as I could have just gone to my local foreign exchange and bought my currency.

Staff were extremely helpful
Staff were extremely helpful. I collected pre-ordered currency and was advised to check it to see if the denominations were ok for my needs. They weren't. Most were very large value notes....the cashier was able to make the order more appropriate.
