Jottacloud Reviews 

Based on my paid experience using Jottacloud, upload and download speeds are quite smooth, sometimes even fast—a standard that many other cloud providers in Keelung can't match. The interface is also very clean, making it worth recommending.

However, there are two drawbacks:

1. Folders do not display dates.

2. When uploading files, you must remain on the page and wait. If you switch to other web pages or perform other tasks on your computer, you'll find that the upload progress has paused when you check back.

Routinely reliable.

It simply does what it has to do.

Very easy to set up and use.

I got the "unlimited tier", which caps bandwidth at 5TB, but I haven't even gotten my storage 1/4ths filled - and that's after having backed up all 4 of my systems. Jotta has not only synchronization of files between systems, but backups for each system AND an archive folder for what have you. Not only are the uploads and downloads blazing fast, but the data is stored in Norwegian data centers which has some of toughest privacy laws worldwide. I feel my data is safe and can't think of any other service that delivers this great of a value proposition.

Have been storing almost 8TB with this company for over a year now. Has worked flawlessly on the cloud web-app, my MacBook, my iPad, my iPhone, rclone, and also my Android devices. I am as happy with their service as I could be.

Slow to upload files (not always but most of the times) and errors quite frequently, you have to really follow up.

Jotta cloud has been a great backup system - I fully restored my hard drive after a C drive crash!

Jottacloud is a good alternative for US cloud services as it is using green scandinavia energy. Upload speed a very good. Not so good is the synchonisation speed. Mostly I have to wait if I rename or add a file which is not the case with for example the google drive

I got prompt solution to my issue. The only mishap was dealing with the ai assistant, that kept switching from English to Finnish forcing me to use a translator :)

It is ok with some minor things.
Linux client could be not only terminal by GUI as well.
But overall is it good product.

I have tried them all...this is so far the best one. Always backs up without fail, any recovery of files is dead easy. No suprises. Also....if you have to change the location of some of your directories it lets you relocate them. Just how it should be, just great!

I switched from Dropbox because it was becoming very expensive. Jottacloud offers amazing value, great speed and has been easily integrated onto home computers, laptops and mobile phones providing regular, automatic and issue free back ups. Mostly used for images, these are all safe, secure and shareable. Brilliant service.
