Useless service don't bother

I spent €73 on food in Spain and it didn't arrive, we tried calling the provider but with no answer. Escalated to Just Eat who basically told us to deal with the restaurant - this is unacceptable we dealt with Just Eat and they should deal with the problem. Took up with PayPal who found in favour of Just Eat without any evidence. Absolute sham of a service, will not use again

JUST EAT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN BECAUSE IT’S A SCAMMING HORRIBLE COMPANY

I spent 50€ on getting food and nothing arrived, no help, just nothing but theft by just eat , this company need shut down as it’s nothing but a thief, AVOID THIS ABSOLUTE DESPICABLE EXCUSE FOR A FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE , contact your bank card issuer and you will get refunded, as it’s plane and simple robbery, I got refunded from Revlout today, DONT BE ROBBED BY THESE SCAM ARTISTS, and governments allowing repugnant scammers like don’t eat to scam off hard working people is horrible. If I could give minus 5000 stars ✨ I would and the rest.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Just Eat in Spain. I placed an order that was never delivered, despite being marked as delivered. While I was still in Spain, I tried to contact the restaurant directly using the number provided in the confirmation email, but no one answered after several attempts.

I reached out to Just Eat’s customer service, hoping they would help resolve the issue. Instead, they told me to deal with the restaurant myself, even after I explained that I had already tried and was unsuccessful. I have since left Spain, so contacting the restaurant now is no longer an option.

I expected Just Eat, as the intermediary platform, to take responsibility and help resolve the situation with the restaurant. Unfortunately, despite multiple messages and a clear explanation of the circumstances, they refused to issue a refund or offer any real assistance.

This issue has dragged on for too long with no resolution, and I feel let down by the lack of support. I trusted Just Eat with my order and my money, but they have not delivered on their responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction when things go wrong.

Scammy!

Ordered something using Just Eat in Spain and we had an issue with our order, so went to cancel and was redirected to ‘shopping protection’ which was a subscription service we didn’t want to subscribe to but accidentally clicked thinking we were cancelling the order. Very deceptive and confusing, I’m surprised this is even on an app like Just Eat. I thought they were legit. Very scammy! Be careful using this app.

Over the last year i have lost around…

Over the last year i have lost around 100 euros using the Just Eat app Burger king Mac Donalds and other take aways either not delivering the food or delivering the food cold 40 minutes after it has left the premises. I feel like because I am English they assume I am a tourist so they can treat you like garbage, Just Eat do absolutely nothing to help and simply hide behind their terms and conditions making it near impossible to gain a satisfactory outcome. I would advise anyone not to use this app in Spain as they clear do not care about being customer centric! This post will probably get one of the pathetic automated generic responses

Corporate treats employees like disposable garbage. You silently encouraged to break traffic laws constantly. You are at the mercy of the restaurants. Fast food is the worst, they just don't care. Training is a joke. I would love to see their employee turnover rate, must be astronomical.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes now and my food hasn’t arrived. When I wrote to just eat they just said that they couldn’t do anything to help me and left the conversation. The worst experience I have ever had .

My order did not come and Justeat does not care

My order did not come. The restaurant did not pick up the phone. The company then said I have to call the restaurant and arrange it with them. This was already 50 minutes after my order should have arrived. This makes no sense. The company should just refund a customer if a restaurant is not delivering and unresponsive. They tell me to write an email to info@. I think this is so bad. I've spent an hour on this already.

Delivery person dropped my order on the floor, then proceed to close the order, even though I didn't get ANYTHING. Customer Support did nothing so far... I just want my money back for food I dodn't get.

Not delivered, not their problem

Ordered food in Vigo yesterday, food wasn't delivered. Contacted Just Eat and their response was that the restaurant was in charge of the delivery so it's not their fault and I need to contact the restaurant and figure it out by myself. So they took my money and 0 responsability. Never again

He hecho compra del supermercado y me han enviado productos que caducan en 24 horas y no se hacen responsables. Contacté con el servicio de atención al cliente, y desde Just Eat me informaron que no gestionan el reemplazo ni reembolsan el dinero. Me parece una falta de consideración hacia los clientes, ya que esperaba recibir productos con un margen razonable de consumo.

They have sent me products that expire in 24 hours and do not take responsibility. I contacted customer service, and Just Eat informed me that they do not handle replacements or refunds. I find this very inconsiderate towards customers, as I expected to receive products with a reasonable consumption period.

RIDICULOUS

This is by far the most ridiculous app to order food and one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

A few months ago, my order never arrived, and Just Eat couldn’t care less or take any responsibility. It took me nearly two months of chasing them to get a €20 refund.

Today, while working from home, I decided to give them another chance (silly me). Surprise, surprise—after waiting over an hour for my food and finding that the restaurant’s phone number wasn’t working, I contacted Just Eat’s customer service. They kept insisting I reach out to the restaurant, which I had already done about 20 times before contacting them.

In the end, I completely lost patience and went to the restaurant myself. My order was sitting there, cold, just waiting because no one had picked it up. When I explained this to the live chat agent, they said it was the restaurant’s responsibility, refused to issue a refund, and then abruptly closed the chat.

Absolute joke of a service. Delete this app and use UberEats or Glovo instead—at least they should more helpful. Never again.

The most appalling service ever. Food was nowhere to be seen for 2+ hours; the restaurant contacted me to try and get in touch with them to sort the issues, but the online agent was absolutely useless and, after refusing to acknowledge responsibility, simply ignored me. The next day, after a clear email exchange, the customer service rudely closed the conversation stating they couldn't do more than what they had done: offer me 8 EURO credit on my just eat account. Take 4 euros off (the price of the appalling delivery service) what you face is the reality that JustEat thinks that FOUR euros in credit on the app (which i stated multpile times i wont use again, requesting money on my card) is enough compensation for their awful incompetence. Their disregard for their customers is truly DISGUSTING.
