Joke of a company,left them in Oct.2019 with final bill cleared.Got an email from them telling me I was €148 in credit.To date no sign of that been refunded.In Nov.of this year they also took €180 from my account for no reason.Despite calls to them and promises that it will be refunded immediately nothing as of yet.My advice is stay well away from this shower.

Poor website and phone app. Could not pay a bill over either of these platforms since I joined them 2 years back. Highlighted this every time I rang to pay and still not remedied. Could not upload meter readings also because of the website and phone app issues. Bills are quite expensive in comparison to other providers. Would not use in the future.
I've struggled with these…
I've struggled with these "professionals" for 1 year. The prices were as relevant as their poor service. Every 2 months I got some "estimated" bill which I was forced to pay by a direct debit nevermind I always did my best and sent back an up-to-date gas meter readings. After expiry of my contract it went even worse because of their high professioncy which made me to switch twice to another supplier and have waited for more than a month to get refunded the money were overdebited from my account!
So definitely a lots of improvement is needed to become a competitive company. At this stage it's much better to avoid their services!

I recently bought a house, and I switched my Bord Gais account to my new address. Anyway, fast forward to a week or so ago, I received a bill from this crowd, Just Energy. The bill was chewed up, so I didn't see the name, but I decided to call because I wasn't sure what was happening. Anyway, when I got on the phone with them, the rep told me that the previous owner signed me up to their service and because of that I needed to pay the bill, even though I've been with Bord Gais since the beginning.
I called Bord Gais and they informed me that this was in fact illegal and to just throw it away.
Anyway, I sent them, as a courtesy, both my closing out bill from the previous address, and my new bill for this new house from Bord Gais.
Even if I wanted to change to them, now they've lost a future customer. They are a bunch of grifters.
Sorry, but I will let other people know about it.
Poor quality of service which gives you headaches. I had not received a bill in 6 months. I won"t even say about emails and calls made to them.
Even though the assistants are nice when you call them, but the quality customer service it does not make you happy at all.

Great Customer Service
I currently emailed in about an inquiry about my final bill and requested a call which I received within an hour of emailing , I spoke with an advisor called Declan who was very pleasant on the phone and answered all of my queries. I have received a better deal and this is why I am leaving Just Energy but I can say I have dealt with other advisors from Just Energy Kirsty and Niamh and they have been great and made me feel very comfortable in the past. Thank you Just Energy for a good experience.

So I switched to just energy January…
So I switched to just energy January 2019 fixed 12 months , problems arose when my bill in July didn’t appear , I had provided readings for both my gas and electricity on line , so I contacted them and was told due to a technical issue the bill was delayed and they would issue it ASAP , I also Enquired were they leaving the Irish market ( heard on news) but didn’t seem to think they should inform their customers. Anyway my bill materialized with a gross over estimate of my gas so I emailed to say I wasn’t paying the gas , to which I was asked to resubmit a gas reading so they could re issue the bill so August 8th submitted reading successfully and the bill reissued but again chose to estimate and ignore my reading ( very frustrated and angry now ) so again I notified them of issue and was told it would be rectified . I canceled my direct debit and told them I was doing so and I paid the electricity bill but I was not paying the gas . So my last bill has been issued they finally used my reading which is still well below any estimate they issued and again I have contacted them as they still have the gas bill from August outstanding, I’ve suggested they use the last gas reading in May and the one I gave them in September to recalculate my gas over the 4 month period and cancel the August bill and reissue , I have heard nothing and if I don’t by end of week I’ll take this to the ombudsman.. incompetence beyond belief

I didn't go ahead with another year with Just Energy as I found this time a better deal elsewhere; However I have to say the year went perfectly and got in recent contact with Sean F. who was very kind, efficient and professional.

Can't fault this company, bills are simple and easy to understand, was happy to renew for another year as rates competitive with other companies

Same as previous reviewer , great the first year , then renewal date comes price flys up and bills and app shuts down so no bills to view for 5 months as balance goes up , joke of a company even after contacting them to find balance info joke 😳

Yes I would advise everyone to stay away.
I signed up for a fixed rate. Second month bills started to kick in. When I rang customer service in the first place,they said that it was a mistake since I'm on a fixed rate. However this bill was building up. No one contacted me and as a result I have a bill of 840euro to pay. Seriously! I'm not the only one because the friend is the same too. So,beware.

Dishonest - Deceiving - I don't recommend!!!
I have been with this company since October 2017, great value and good customer service so when the time came to renew I accepted to continue with them. Few months in, I started receiving Emails saying that my account was €460 overdue!! When I phoned to enquire, they said that when I renewed my contract they put me on a different rate that's more expensive which I am not aware of and never agreed to!!!

Stay away from this company joined for a 12mths contract at fixed rate agreed at my front door with sales rep having seen previous bills usage etc signed up DD everything was ok for 2 mths then I got email saying I was on the wrong tarrif and my bill was raised to more than I was paying in the first place nightmare to deal with spoke to some neighbours who were caught too !!!stay away! !

Very competent customer service
Got through straight away to one of Just Energy's customer service reps. He was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. His advice was excellent and he actually saved me money. That type of advice always goes down well with me.

I received a cold call last October…
I received a cold call last October offering me a deal on my electricity. I accepted and requested the agreed tariffs be emailed to me. The email I received showed higher costs than those quoted to me. I requested JE to listen back on the recorded telephone calls to me from their sales department and honour what they promised. The past 6 months has resulted in numerous emails and telephone calls.I was eventually informed they could not trace the telephone calls to me and therefore could not honour what I had agreed. I was promised a €60 reduction on this months bill as a good will gesture. I was disappointed when this promise was not kept. I called JE this morning and talked to the very professional Kirsty she immediately had my account credited by €60. If you are dealing with JE request to talk to her. I found Niamh also helpful however it would appear all her efforts to help me were being ignored.
