Excellent service, on my dual fuel

I had a contract with JE for a year, all going well. A few days before the contract ended I received a cold call from their Cork office offering the same rates as my last year rates. I accepted and asked the man to sent me an email to confirm the rates. The email was shoddy with no breakdown of rates. I emailed asking for a break down. The email I received showed that my electricity rates were now 40% higher. When I emailed back I got no reply. I again phoned to find the person on the other end unhelpful, when I asked to speak with a manager, I was told, no manager was available. Phoned again to hear that they cant find the original call even when its logged to my phone. Office number and time. Still on going.

Worst company ever to deal with. There is a problem with every bill. I got a new meter installed three months ago and they can't issue me a bill since. Have spent hours on the phone to them to no avail. Promises of getting it fixed and return calls but they never happen. Have followed their companies procedures as they have outlined on their website but still getting nowhere.

Good value. No messing. They contacted me near end of contract with them to remind me that it was expiring and offered a competitive renewal which I have accepted.
I raised a fairly minor communications issue which was treated seriously and resolved promptly. Good test of an organisation to see how it responds to a problem.

Worst company I have dealt with.
Signed up on the last day of July and returned to Electric Ireland the start of November because they are untrustworthy and incompetent.
Saw them through an email from bonkers.ie,they have a lot to answer for.

They were supposed to return to me a small sum of money that they took as soon as i joined.They apologised for charging me and told me i would see it returned to me on my next bill....
To make a long story short,after weeks of phone calls and interactions that bordered on the deepest levels of incompetence I was told I would not be getting the cash returned.
I took the hit of the early cancellation fee of 50 just to not have any connection to this bunch of foolish liars.
Glad to be back in the loving arms of Electric Ireland.

What a s**t show Just energy is..

I read the reviews after signing up to this company and panic set in... I was waiting for everything to go wrong! That couldn't have been further than the truth.. the switch over was all taken care of and I am saving money, which of course was the reason I switched!! So I was shocked at all the bad review's. It dawned on me though that I never actually write a review when things go well and I like most people tend to only write one if something goes wrong. So I'd like to say my experience was very positive... staff were professional and friendly. They did exactly what they said they would.

The worst company I have ever dealt with .

Switched in order to have a consistent fixed monthly payment. I have spent at least 5 - 8 hours on the phone to them in the last 3 months. Door to Door sales man assured me our transition to them as a customer would be smooth but it was not.

Also they are billing me the wrong amount everymonth and then the CS get upset when I question it, I am to ignore these bills going forward. An absolute joke, I cannot wait to be able to cancel.

Absolutely useless. We have had nothing but issues since joining in October. Started off where they couldn't produce a bill at all so we got hit with a whopper one for 4 months, then they forgot to take our direct debit payment for the following bill, and this time they forgot to issue us with an actual bill before taking the payment. They are in no way cheaper - our bills have gone way up from what they were with Airtricity so just hoping now that they will let us leave and go back to any one of the other companies that know what they are doing!!!

I switched to Just Energy in October 2017 to save money. I have had nothing but hassle and strife with them since then. In December they said they "could not produce a bill." I was supposed to be on a variable payment every two months and instead they are taking a set payment of €64.17 per month, despite three heated phone conversations with them and their untrue assurances that it was all sorted. You might pay less in money but more in hassle and headaches. All that time on the phone - I will never get it back. Do yourself a favour and stay well away from this company.
Ok, after my third phone call I was put on to a manager at my insistence. As far as I know, he sorted it out and did what he said he would do. I received an actual bill. He rang me again to see if all was okay. I will know more in 2 months time. In their blurb they say they have been around for 20 years so I was surprised that such basic things as issuing a bill, emailing the customer when the bill is issued, and getting the type of payment correct were so hard to do. But in fairness, it seems to be sorted now.
