Great service with good communication

Great service, after searching around for sheet music on various sites, I now check Just Flutes first as always seem to have what I need in stock, or give the date to expect it. Easy to order, great delivery updates and arrives on time.

I bought an antique flute

I bought a flute. Not just any old flute, but a fine historic antique flute; a Djalma Julliot. It was described as "approximately playable" but turned out to be totally playable. Also, an engraving on the flute, which their blurb didn't mention, and didn't show in the pictures, pointed to it having had an interesting historical connection with Switzerland. The flute reeks of history! The price was also affordable and reasonable; rare for this age and type of Boehm flute. Speedy and helpful service; very speedy delivery and excellent safe packaging. I will be buying from this company again.

There was a severe technical glitch when trying to order online. In the end, I had to swap from my usual Firefox browser to Chrome (on an Android phone) in order to complete the order. Otherwise, plain sailing.

10/10 service every time

I'm a professional saxophonist and I go to Just Flutes for all my flute doubling needs. The staff are so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, I literally cannot fault this shop at all! The repair service is also very friendly, quick and reasonably priced. 10/10

Everything went without a hitch.

Everything went without a hitch. The way things used to be done before computers!! When I purchased from catalogues and spoke on the telephone there were very rarely any problems. These days people blame the computer when there is a problem. However, garbage in, garbage out!! The truth about computers.
I heartily recommend Just Flutes and shall shop here again.

Excellent Service

My recorder was delivered really quickly and well packaged, and I am enjoying playing it. I found the price was very competitive compared with other well known music shops. I would thoroughly recommend Just Flutes.

Sent order to wrong address and no customer service skills

Spent around £46 on two separate orders to different addresses - they put them together as one order (both were presents) so now have to buy another present - can hardly ask someone to give it back!!
They offered a measly £10 voucher - meaning I'd have to put in another order - not enough for the hassle and stress they've caused me and as if I'll buy from them again?!

I asked at least for a £10 refund, they said no.

No acknowledgement of the stress they caused - or that sending to different addresses 1. was THEIR fault and 2. cost me a lot more than £10 to rectify, having to buy another present to make up for them sending both to the same person and address - even though the orders were for different names and addresses.

Literally no care for their customer both in the initial mistake, but more importantly in the way they have dealt with it since - still can't get over the £10 voucher offered - and refusal to give even a £10 refund for their mistake. Awful customer service, do not recommend.

In our experience, this occasionally happens when a customer remembers additional items after checking out, and places a new order for the item - in such cases, we typically combine the orders so that both orders arrive together. Unfortunately, in this instance, we didn’t pick up that you had input different delivery addresses for each order and so, while our intention was to be helpful, both orders were shipped to the same address. Both items were delivered safely and on time.

We fully take responsibility for the error with your order, and we apologised for our error and offered solutions which we felt were fair and appropriate but which you declined.

We regret this one-off human error and can assure you that it is as frustrating for us as it is for you. Since you brought this to our attention, we have adjusted our procedures to prevent similar issues in the future. While we may not have reached your desired resolution, we believe we made every effort to address the situation fairly and in good faith.
