The bags look really good online, but the quality isn't worth the price. The returns are an absolute nightmare, be aware you will not get your money back, the offer gift cards and make you pay out of pocket to send the items back.

My experience was super positive. I’ve ordered a dress taking advantage of the sales. The dress is super simple but with a very nice and particular design! Also the size for my personal experience fit well! :)
The shipping was also very fast considering it was holiday season

Those bags I received were very poor quality for the price. After purchasing, I found the same or extremely similar designs available on low-cost platforms like Temu for a fraction of the price (around 10–15 times cheaper), which raises serious concerns about value and originality.

Although the brand is positioned as premium and appears on major UK retail platforms, the actual product does not match that image. Materials and finishing were disappointing.

The returns process is also an issue. When attempting to return the item due to quality concerns, I was instructed to ship it to an overseas address (the US), with return shipping fully at my own expense. This was not clearly highlighted at the point of purchase. The cost and complexity of this effectively discourage returns.

Despite marketing that implies a UK presence, the item was shipped from China and there is no clear UK return address. This makes it difficult for UK customers to rely on the consumer protections they would reasonably expect.

I recommend that potential buyers carefully read the return terms and compare identical products elsewhere before purchasing.

Terrible experience with this company. The bag eventually arrived and seemed very overpriced for the quality as it looked cheap. The returns process was extremely longwinded with numerous e-mails trying to convince you that you'd have to return to the US at your own expense despite having a UK address on their return policy. I continued with the ridiculous to and fro of emails and have just got my money back. I don't think the bags are very good but if you like them, don't buy direct go to somewhere like John Lewis that is reputable.

I ordered one of their bags from them, and they use GOFO for delivery service. Well, google GOFO, they are known for taking pics of the bag being left and then take the bag. I live in a very upscale apartment building, people do not steal. Once I was notified my bag was delivered I went home and it was not by my door. I sent JWPEI all the reivews that this company were scammers and I didnt get the product. They ignored my email by saying it was delivered you should ask a neighbor. Now I have to go through the aggrivation of disputing. I think GOFO knows what is in the boxes for JWPEI and take the box so they can sell. Terrible! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY WON'T STAND BEHIND YOU IF THIS HAPPENS.

DO NOT BUY from them directly!! As all the reviews have said, it's impossible to get a refund. They make you go through tons of emails, sending pictures of the box from every angle, pay for shipping yourself, send them the tracking number, and then they say it doesn't work. Such bullshit.. so regret falling for them.

This is the biggest scam I have ever dealt with. Their customer service sounds like AI, but Michelle is definitely not. areal person. After paying over 60 euros for express shipping with a guaranteed delivery before Christmas, they cancelled my order and placed a new one that arrived over 15 days after Christmas. No refund, no explanation, nothing. This "brand" is just another cheap Chinese factory pretending to be American. Everything comes from China, takes ages, smells bad and is worse than Shein. Do not spend your money here. Buy it in Shein for 30 euros, as they are all coming from the same place anyway. They told me a full refund would be issued as it was their error. That never happened and they told me to pay over 50$ to send the items back to the US to get my refund? Unbelievable. The worst 'brand'. Do not fall for it.

This is hands down one of the worst bags I have ever purchased. The JW Pei Aria bag arrived with an overwhelming chemical stench that was absolutely unbearable. The smell was not mild or temporary it was strong, toxic, and persistent, to the point where the bag was unusable. I aired it out for over 10 days, and the odor did not go away at all.
The quality of the bag is extremely poor. It feels cheap, poorly made, and nowhere near the standard you would expect for the price. It honestly feels like a low-grade product masquerading as a “designer” item.
What makes the experience even worse is the return process. It is unnecessarily complicated and you are forced to pay the return shipping yourself, which in my case was nearly half the price of the bag. Paying that much just to return a unusable product is unacceptable.
Overall, this was a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this brand to anyone, and I strongly advise against spending your hard-earned money on JW Pei products. Poor quality, terrible odor, and an unfair return policy - a very disappointing experience from start to finish.

I would give the company a zero star if I could. Poor customer service. They don’t state / share with customers that returns of products are to the US which means very costly and additional duty to be paid by customer.

The worst company ever . Do not buy from them . Also the items are not worth the price.

I received a defective item from this company. I sent them pictures of the purse that wouldn’t even close, and after weeks they said “you can shape it” They refuse to return or refund anything. I wish I had read the reviews first, but this is a poor quality, mass produced, cheap product. Do yourself a favor and buy from a reputable company.

they make you just through tons of emails back and forth before allowing a return - make you pay the shipping and then also charge for the original shipping even if you kept other items in the order. NOT WORTH THE HASSEL

I made on order on the 28th of November and it’s the 13th of December and the order is still not here the delivery service is no good the customer service is poor

Although the site indicates its USA based...the products are shipped from CHINA...and definately a BIG pain to get a return/refund if you don't like the product.
The HANNA mini is veryyy mini...and in my opinion it is inaccurately pictured on the website. Quality is ok for the price...but I WOULD NOT buy again due to their return policy.

I ordered a bag on December 6th as a special Christmas present. After almost a week, on December 12th, I received an email titled “URGENT!! Error on the order date – JW PEI”. At first, I thought it was spam, but once I read it, I realised you were basically telling me the bag is unavailable.
Honestly—are you serious?

This is incredibly disappointing. I had high hopes for this gift and for your brand, and now I’m left with no present and no solution. After this experience, I definitely won’t be recommending JW PEI or purchasing from you again. This whole situation reflects a complete lack of ethics—towards customers, production, and overall reliability.

I have reached out to @jwpei_official several times in the last few weeks for sending me a damaged bag (with pictures), and requesting a pre-paid shipping label to return the bag. They are refusing to send a label, after sending me a damaged bag.

They seem to be trying to extend the conversation so that I then don’t qualify for the return window.

Do not purchase their products. They will make it impossible for you return the item, even when they are the ones who messed up the order.

They make returns very difficult countless hoops to Jim though.

Horrendous returns process! First ask you for various pictures on items that never left the box! And then attempt you to keep the product by offering 30% percent back etc and when you still want to send it back, they ask you another 3 times with percent off offers! And finally when they have provided the address to return it is to USA! And cost an additional (Just under) £40 to send back! I wish i had read these reviews before purchasing! For a bag that was £105 has cost me more to send back! Dont buy from these people! Scam!

I would give them a negative rating. DO NOT buy from them. It’s cheap bags, charged at a higher rate, and as soon as my bag arrived from China, I opened it and immediately hated the way it looked. It never left the box or dust bag. So, I started the return/refund process as soon as possible, which isn’t easy.
And get this, even after I sent them pictures of the unused bag, in the box with the tag still on, and I’ve never used the bag because I hate it, they are claiming I’ve used the bag and won’t give me a refund. This is such a scam and absolutely criminal. How they can say that when I’ve never used it and it’s still in original condition even while sending proof, absolutely blows my mind. I don’t even know what to do but what a money grab. I would never buy from them, so tell all your friends and family!!! It’s a scam. I wish I’d never bought from them. Also, there’s no other place to leave reviews.

They have cute stuff but the return and sizing for clothes is terrible. Also is the worst return system. Don’t be fooled by the cute things they sells. I tried purchasing for them but unfortunately it as nightmare process to deal with them and to wait for the items to arrive.
