Less attractive than previously
Previously it was possible to transfer the money to a bank account (against a fee), this option has now been taken away.
When you want to contact customer service by chat, it states 'Chat with us, we are available', and then you get a message saying leave your email here and we'll get back to you. That is not chat support, that is email support and it takes a lot longer time. Please be honest with your customers in the support you actually offer.

I like the experience, but it was not clear to me up front that I would be obligated to choose from your gift partners. For the amount of moneypot I have it's really a hassle having to divide everything over the specific partner.

lot of problems
I encountered a lot of problems the last time. The button to send individual reminders was missing. And then a automatic reminder that was sent out to all invitees, while 50% had contributed. That should not happen.

Regarding the fee you mentioned , on the first group gift page on our website we do stipulate the banking cost when transfering money to a bank account. In order to avoid this transaction cost we have a long list of retail partners in all sorts of categories where you can spend the collected money. Beware of unannounced and unreasonable fees
I cannot believe you took a fee from our pot. This was never mentioned anywhere until the very end. I will never use Kadonation again and nobody should. You guys are not honest people.

Hi Noam,
Transferring the collected amount to a Kadonation voucher or a voucher from one of our gift partners is free of charge. Transferring the money to a bank account costs 4% of the collected amount. This still makes us the cheapest platform for collecting money.

So after the whole shebang
So after the whole shebang, you have to verify yourself, which I understand. But I don't think I got reminded that this needed to happen and would take this long. It's Monday evening now and I uploaded my verification Friday at noon.
Besides that, it's really user-unfriendly that you can't use the bancontact QR code to upload money. That's usually the reason I don't participate in kadonations, because it's just too big of a hassle.

Hi,
I've looked into your case and remember you from one or two chat sessions.
It seems we had a big factor of Murphy's Law.
Some weeks ago, we changed payment providers, which should allow mobile payments. It seems your groupgift was one of the last to be hosted with our previous provider. Any new occassion will allow you to collect money with mobile payments, Payconiq, QR-codes and the like.
You should have received an e-mail asking for your verification before, but you might have missed it. That happens and is not fun. Later, it seems the document you uploaded had a weird extension, which was not recognized in the automated process, and somehow not automatically refused, which would have alerted the both of us. As this happened on a friday evening, it lasted until monday when we could help you with it. Also not fun.
Kadonation's goal is to remove all the hassle from gifting as a group, and we're sad to see you bumped into all these issues. Our sincerest apologies.

Hi Belinda, I believe you chose the "bank transfer" option. If you would have chosen the "Kadonation gift card (have the recipient decide)" option, you would be able to download a PDF voucher to hand over to the beneficiary or you could even receive a gift box for free! This is also the most chosen option. Perhaps try out this option next time? If you have trouble finding it, you can always contact our customer support.
