I've had the same experience - never got my money. Starting sending email upon email asking for my money or my phone back. Tried calling - it's just an answerphone no one answers. Then I told them I was considering taking action. Finally received my phone back with the screen completely smashed and the navigation key removed (it was sent in perfect condition). I am absolutely horrified. Do one use these complete unprofessional thieving bandits!!!

Terrible. Never had my money. Do not trust. Scam-artists. Been pestering them for my money for months. Tired of it. Do not use.

I sent my iPhone 6 to them in May and heard nothing back. I resorted to calling them. The first time they said there was a mixup with the payment and it would be resolved quickly.... not a chance! I called back a month later since I still haven't been paid. Can't get through to their contact number.

In total I've waited over 2 months for my payment and it would be stupid to think it's going to happen any time soon. Rediculous.

Used this company because they have published fast payment.
This isn't the case at all, 2 weeks to get money out of them after numerous calls and emails.
YOU WILL GET YOUR MONEY, BUT IT WILL NOT BE IN THE TIME SCALE THE PROMISE.
won't be using then again as there are better more efficient companies out there.

Took a bit longer to pay than some other buyback companies but the communication was good from the company. They said it would be paid in the payment run next Wednesday and it was paid then.
Would recommend!

as with many customers on here I have an ongoing situation with this shower of sh&t ‘company’.phone sent in April it is now July.tired of the excuses so have no option but to get my property back in person.

Sent my old iPhone 6 over a month ago and still waiting on my payment. I’ve emailed and no reply and can’t get through using the phone number - just goes to voicemail. I wouldn’t recommend kingbuyback to anyone!

Sent an iPad Mini series 1 to them which was received by them on June 26th 2019. Received an email stating that payment would be made to me within 24Hrs. Called them on the 4th July to advise no payment had been made. They advised that the iPad had been received in grade A condition and payment was delayed because of problems their end. They said payment would be received by the end of the week. It is now the 9th July and still not received payment. Tried to call them and just get voicemail.

Still not received payment. Not answering calls. I have now reported them to Trading Standards and the online fraud team. I believe this to be a scam website. In my personal opinion, the recent reviews on here from people saying they received money promptly have to be false reviews from the company.

Sent my old iPhone 6 to them and after 2months they finally contacted me to tell me that my phone is only worth £4 instead of the £29 they offered on the website , don’t bother using this site , total scam

This entire process has been incredibly frustrating, I originally sent my item to King Buy Back back in May. After a few weeks of hearing nothing, I chased in mid June to be told that the device had been tested and subsequently lost and that I would be given a call back. On the 18th June I called back again as I had not received a call, and was told my device had been found, tested, and that I would be paid "in a few days"
I waited until the 21st to chase again and was told I would be on Monday (24th)'s pay run. I phoned at the end of the 24th to be told I had been paid and that it might take a few days to appear. I phoned again in the 28th after not being paid and was told that payment would take place that day and that it would appear within a few hours.
I then phoned today to be told I had been sent an email that the person on the phone could not see. I was offered no apologies for the continual delays and miscommunication, I was only told that "the staff on the floor doing the testing aren't exactly uni students" and "probably lost it until it was chased" as being the reason for the initial delay. No explanation for the constant confusion as to when I would be paid.
I have now received an email stating that there is motherboard damage and I will get a significantly reduced payout. I can't believe this could be the case considering I have been told multiple times by multiple staff members that I would be recieving the full payout. I can only come to the conclusion that it has been further damaged in the "care" of these fraudsters considering I was told multiple times it had been accepted.

Awful service had device for over 1 month. Emailed and called yet no payment. Had emails to say device was received. Do not use...I will be taking legal advice

My phone has now been in their hands for over 3 months and still not sorted. Now being told that it has faults it didn't have when it left me.
Have never experienced anything like this poor service when selling phones in the past.

The transaction was quick. I sold my Apple Iphone and the transaction was flawless.

Good service, quick response to my query and with the answer I was looking for. Prompt no fuss service with impeccable customer service to back it up. I would defiantly use this website again.

Received an email over 2 weeks ago to say that device had been received and then I am unable to get a response. Very pioor would not use again order number is 24570
