For me consistency is really important, I have my coffee everyday and Kiss the Hippo actually delivers the quality EVERY TIME. Never had issues, pastry always fresh coffee roasted in London so that just speaks for itself. 100% Worth a try.

The quality of their coffee is consistently outstanding — every cup is fresh, rich in flavor, and roasted to perfection. Their blends and single origins truly showcase the craft and care that goes into sourcing and roasting, and you can taste the difference.

Beyond the coffee itself, their service is equally impressive. The team is knowledgeable, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure an excellent experience, whether in their cafés, through wholesale, or via online orders. They are professional yet personable, and their passion for sustainability and excellence really shines through in everything they do.

Love the coffee, love that they regularly offer promotions on subscriptions and have a good rewards system, and always had a good experience with their customer service - I’ve recently been dealing with their CS specialist Guy who resolved my issue very quickly and without needing to over explain.

I did Barista session and it was alor of fun.

Consistently great flavour, accurate tasting notes, and resealable packaging is a major plus for keeping beans fresh for longer!

You make like 4 coffees which is not enough to learn any latte art.

Why do you bother offering tea? £3.80 for a cup of tea served in the smallest plastic cup possible by someone who didn’t really want to be serving. I think it’s a complete rip off.

Poor service and if they have their preferred politicians hanging about you will be ignored

My order was never delivered. Tried to contact the company several times by email and also by social media but they have refused to answer. Charged me for the missing order and I’ve now had to unsubscribe to the service. Absolutely awful.

Ordered a taster pack to try Kiss the Hippo. Coffee that I have tested so far is LOVELY. However, two of the three bags were roasted 22 days before I received them. I think a week at most is the acceptable limit for freshly roasted specialty coffee, and in my experience that's typically what you get here in the UK. If the coffee only reaches me in the fourth week, I have perhaps 2 weeks before it's past its best. I don't like to leave a bad review, but that's just not good enough. Concerned to also see a significant number of negative reviews on here complaining about poor customer service. Looking further, I see that many of their coffees are out of stock, suggesting perhaps some supply issues. This may explain some of the customer service problems. Overall, I can only give a cautious, qualified recommendation at this point, based on the quality of the coffee, but with some worrying concerns about the overall experience.

Unreliable - I made an order for something that they claimed was in stock. I received an email saying they didn't have it. I asked for a refund - they told me they have refunded my money but they haven't.

There are lots of good coffee companies, don't give these people your money.

Have my coffee black,aquired a bean to cup machine cheap through a family member needing to sell as was not used,tried several roaster companies,for me black one stood out,not the cheapist,£9.90 on subscription for 250g with free delivery,kiss the hippo george st blend.

Ordered a coffee grinder from their website. Very prompt delivery. Quality product. Came with free coffee beans, very generous five packets. Would highly recommend. Cheaper than Amazon too and much rather support them than big corp.

Kiss the Hippo is my favorite coffee brand, hands down. Whenever I'm in London, it's the only coffee shop I'll go to, and I love visiting their different locations. Each one has a unique vibe that I enjoy exploring while savoring their diverse offerings. I even have their coffee shipped to me in the States or while traveling—it's truly a staple in my life.

My go-to order at their cafes is the flat white, and when ordering online, I always look forward to trying their new Geshas. I'm also a big fan of their Honduras options, which never disappoint. The fact that they roast everything fresh is a huge plus, and I love having such high-quality options to choose from.

I can't recommend Kiss the Hippo enough! <3
