Dear Sir

Dear Sir, Our elevator is relatively new, nevertheless is out of service very often. Our building is 9 store house with 27 apartments. Our complain is the bad service provided, specifically the weekend when excuses are invented to postpone the service until Monday. It is not fair to elderly, families with babies or invalids people.

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the current state of the lifts at 7 Australia Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park. The building is only 9 years old, but the lifts are performing as if they were significantly older. I believe this situation reflects poorly on the quality of maintenance service provided.

I have attempted to raise these issues with the building management, but I feel it would be most constructive to have a direct discussion with someone at the director or state management level within KONE. A meeting on-site would allow us to assess the situation firsthand and work together towards a solution that upholds the reputation and service standards of KONE.

I understand that your team is busy, but I believe that addressing these concerns promptly will be beneficial for both the residents of the building and KONE's continued success.

Why is it so challenging to obtain the email address of the top management at the head office? There are plenty of impressive job titles, but it's difficult to find contact information for the people who have specific responsibilities. It feels like there's a lot of screening, evasion, and attempts to conceal important contact information.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and hope we can schedule a meeting soon.

How about walking the stairs for 4 months

Our Condominium's elevator has been out for 3 months, the elevator broke during the yearly safety inspection. It took the Orlando office over 3 months to locate the part, have it manufactured in Mexico, then ship to customs in Memphis, tn, where it got lost. Now we cant even get an answer as to when or if we can expect any help from them. They keep telling us it was shipped, now its lost, we were tracking the wrong the package and now its lost. What company the size of Kone has a computer system that won't let them know where the part is, when its available, and when it will arrive. Never, ever use Kone.

Negative star rating for them

Negative star rating for them. They will take all your money but will never do their bit on time or make your lift in working order. We have been trapped with them. Any complains you do, they will never rectify.

If trapped don’t expect support

Incredibly appalling experience just now after being trapped inside a KONE elevator. Called the interphone, was told to wait multiple times and connected to a couple of different agents. Once an update was finally provided they stated minimum 2 hours for an engineer to come out. Absolutely ridiculous considering we were entrapped inside, major risk if there was a fire etc. I stated that was unacceptable and that I would escalate to the fire department, and they strongly advised against it, saying it could cause damage etc to the doors. That was the least of my concerns. We escalated it to the fire department, and we were out within 10 minutes of their arrival. KONE was very unsupportive.

Appalling service

Appalling service. Rang 8am to report lift not working, and vulnerable residents. 6 calls later, and now 9pm, we understand the engineer in 20 minutes away. We await with bated breath.

The Worst Company for Residential Lift Maintenance

The worst company to book a visit. They repeatedly have no-show and when you try to speak to someone their customer support is just a waste of time. They are like robots who reply from a standard list of answers. They have taken huge sums in service contract but do not deliver. They chased us for a debt while they owed us thousand. When we wrote to them there is complete silence. Ironically, every time someone new take over the debt collection customer service role, they immediately send us a debt collection email and then we have to go through the whole cycle of email exchange to show that we are waiting for KONE to refund us. Never touching them again.

Do not go with Kone Elavator,horrible experience

I payed them on April they promised that the work will be completed within 3 months it’s already have been 4 months and he is just asking money instead of finishing the work.so much rework in additional cost and a lot of electricity is taken.But still they never complete

absolutely useless

have been trying to book a lift repair since january. they didn't order the repair parts until march which didn't arrive until may. said they would get in touch to get the works booked in june and everytime i call to try to get a date they pass me off to another number. it's august now and just been told the parts were never ordered. absolutely diabolical and they are completely unwilling to help. every phone call is "please call this other number. not sure what's happening but we will give you a ring back by the end of the day". don't hear anything from them until i ring again a couple days later and the cycle starts again.

Incompetent service

We have been living in a 16 story apartment building for almost 3 years now. We have one lift delivered by KONE. Very often this lift is out of order. Once it stopped between two floors with 3 people inside. On top of that the lift is so noisy that some use earplugs in order to sleep.
In spite of numerous visits by technicians from KONE we see no improvement. We doubt that KONE seriously wants to solve the problem or is able to do so.
We will recommend using another supplier.

I would give Zero if I could

I would give Zero if I could. I very rarely do reviews but this lot will make your blood boil. Do not go for Kone, once the lift is installed you will have ongoing problems with services, never show up, any upgrades are at rip off prices, they don’t let anyone else have access to their parts so they have you by the short and cur-lies

KONE Philippines service is not recommendable

KONE Philippines service is not recommendable. They are handling our elevator as per the building administration yet when we encounters breakdowns it took them so long to respond to our building and they always says to the admin that they dont have available tech, meaning they lack manpower. This incident happens numerous times to us especially when we got trapped inside the elevator. Also, when they inspect its taking more than a month to fully determine the cause of the breakdown. imagine more than a month the elevator is not running and this is just checking only as per the admin of the building. not yet started working with the repairs. very very poor service

Not good enough

I would also echo the almost without exception 1 star from a company with no interest in operating with professionalism, reliability or care, which is rather a self-damning indictment on its own integrity as a lift repair/operations business! Aside from a warranty issue now, we pay for lift maintenance with Kone and despite being told that a replacement part was in stock, it wasn't and the part was eventually ordered on chasing and now there is no tracking so no date for repair still.

Despicable, disgraceful, degrading customer treatment

I could echo the comments of a previous reviewer almost word-for-word. Elevator out of service since late February causing massive inconvenience in three-storey apartment block. Initially we were told repairs would be done on April 10, which was bad enough; now we are being told that new parts need to be manufactured from scratch and that we will need to wait a further six weeks (which I reckon means eight at a minimum). Why did the initial inspection not uncover the need for newly manufactured parts? No sense of urgency whatsoever; meanwhile the bill soars. They know they have a captive customer who cannot go elsewhere and are prepared to milk the situation like you would a cash-cow. Despicable behaviour.

Only gets a 1 star because zero wasn’t an option

Absolutely no urgency from them when fixing our lift in our block of flats. There are families with prams stuck inside and cannot get up and down 6 flights of stairs. Their engineers have no interest in sending job reports over which holds back any progress and also seem impossible to reach. This happens EVERY time our lift breaks down, at least 5/6 weeks before anything is done.

Customer service needs to be improved

Wanted to query some invoices so thought it would be easier to explain over the phone.

Lovely receptionist advised that accounts don't have a phone number so you can't speak to anyone.

Now I have to spend my time preparing an email, scanning and attaching invoices which they could look up on the system.

Poor customer service without a thought for their customers.

The worst service ever

I have had Kone residential flow installed in my building. The service is non existing, there is no possibility to get help, the chatbot is the most absurd experience, not being able to answer anything. I cant even find a place to buy new keytags, since the link is out of order. You Cannon renset your password, since the page is not sending you the reset e-mails. Im desperate I cant get through anywhere.

Positive long term experience

As an estate manager, I have been dealing with Kone on many occasions and I would recommend their services. They supplied parts from Sweden and installed them within a short period of time. Their subcontractor drove to our site despite bad weather conditions. Simon Penn, Paul Taylor and the customer service team are very helpful and professional. I am now exploring their 24/7 Care Connect option.

very bad experiences

My apartment only has 1 lift, and it's often broken. This time it's the longest. It's been off since last friday and still no one fixed it and today it's thursday. Maintenance mgr told me last sat then he would fix it on monday, but when i called them again yesterday, they said still waiting for spareparts. Dunno when they will finally fix it. Very bad service
