KONE ELEVATORS- USELESS

We live in a building in Perth, Western Australia, that has a 22 year old Kone lift. The motor for the lift door was overheating so they disabled the lift, it has been that way for 4 days now and no sign of relief. The fact they don't keep parts in WA is bad enough but their "we are in no hurry attitude" is worse, it must be coming on a canoe from Singapore. I am 60, have had a stroke and cancer in recent years and have 2 stuffed knees, we are currently going through a lovely Perth heatwave and I have to climb 7 floors at least 3 times a day, of course there are other residents in the building that are suffering as well. The service is non existent

From Tirumala hill apartments garkheda nath prangan.
We have been facing issue with lift since many days
Two of us from building are pregnant in 8-9 month.
If due to step climbing anything wrong happens to my health then I am going to take it further.
Kindly try to fix the issue.
Or be ready for consequences because we are already facing the issue because of ur service.
And let's not talk about the service very bad response from technician.

We've been waiting to Kone to show up…

We've been waiting to Kone to show up and fix our lift for more than a month now, every time we call "someone will be here the next day" and it's always a lie. We pay them a monthly service for no service received at all. Absolutely ridiculous!

Upgrade required.

I was in the lift with my friends my one of my friend was very naughty, he saw the stop button he was trying to press but I didn't allow him to press but when he pressed it was like 5 inches away from the ground and it opened. I saw a video and how lift works and that video said that it will open when it will come to the same accurate as the ground then it will open but I think that Kone is cheating about this feature. Please fix your lifts. -Aaryesh Solanki

KONE Elevators is a company I cannot recommend

KONE Elevators is a company I cannot recommend due to them having left senior citizens STRANDED in their apartments for almost 2 months. The apartment complex has been attempting to get them to fix the elevator since September and Kone charged them $26000 and went to fix it but "found 2 other parts broken" and would not fix it until after an additional $9000 was paid. Now they are saying the earliest they can get there is NOVEMBER 27th which will be a full 2 months since the problem began. Several residents in the complex have to use mobility aids and can not navigate stairs, including my wheelchair bound aunt-in-law.

KONE has a very arrogant and…

KONE has a very arrogant and nonsensical approach to dealing with customers!
Having supplied an autodialler for two of our lifts, one of them has stopped working just after the warranty period - these things are known to last over 20 years in some sites so naturally we asked them to provide a fault diagnosis and provide a replacement at their expense (which they refused to do).

They also send engineers who seem to create unnecessary "maintenance" jobs requiring spending thousands of pounds per site.

They should just drop the E and rename themselves KON as that is an appropriate name for this excuse of a company!

Due to diss ability I am forced to stay with family and unable to stay in my home. Terrible service and no consideration for disabled people

They assured me they will finish the work before 10th of Sep 2023, but as usual same goli-gache, kap, perso, Monday se...bla-bla...un professional people. Work is started but once a week some engineers come and they do nothing. I personally recommend every one try other company instead of Kone.

I ordered lift in December 2022 with advance of 40%and paid 90% in APRIL 2023. Still from that day kone people giving excuses that's in manufacturing, in transit and now when spares arrived after four months, they are not installing. Every day new excuses....feels like dealing with unprofessional people. Recommend think twice before dealing with them.

repair delay traps old people in apartments

My father in law lives in some flats for old people. The lift repair requires parts from Germany which are taking an inordinate amount of time to arrive. Meanwhile, lift dependent old people are effectively trapped in their flats. I could have easily driven to Germany and back for the part. This is very poor service.

Broken lift in apartment for 1.5 month

Broken lift (the only one) in apartment for 1.5 months. Kone failed to investigate the issue fully (I certainly hope it was not a complete mistake) in their initial visit. Ordered one part, only to discover there is another issue that requires yet another part. Took 2 weeks for the first part to arrive, another 3 weeks for the other part. After 1.5 months, clearly we are not their priority, since no one came right after the part has been reported to arrived. What's another few days after more than a month.

KONE Australia has a very poor service…

KONE Australia has a very poor service quality. It has been 3 weeks now that the lift in our building is not working. KONE is not even able to provide any eta. The technician did wrong assessment at first and the parts which they ordered did not solve the problem. They have again ordered new parts and has not provided any eta. We are not sure how many more weeks, we are going to stay without lift. Very poor service from KONE Australia.

Delay of delivery of lift

Im Harsh Arora from faridabad. Im into building residential projects of stilt plus four storey building. I have a very bad experience with your so called global and renowned company. I have given you three lifts contract last year. None of them have been delivered till now. One of the lift was committed to me that it will delivered at my site 248/ 15 faridabad on 31/5/23. Then it was communicated to me it has left factory on 31st may. Still i have not received my lift till today. God knows when it will be delivered and it will be in running condition at my site. My project is getting delayed by each passing day. No executive or site engineer have a concrete answer . They have stopped picking up my phone . I have called 20 times today . Still no reply. Very bad experience with kone india . Will not recommend any body to go ahead with this pathetic brand

No Customer Service

I am writing this email as a last resort. I am a Kone user in the Gunes apartment number 42 in Istanbul Umraniye Necip Fazil District, Dilektasi Street Istanbul Turkey. We have an 8-year-old Kone brand elevator in our building. It has been malfunctioning since its inception. Even though we regularly have the maintenance and inspections done by the Kone authorized service, it gives errors on a regular basis every day. In recent months, these malfunctions have become more frequent. We had the electrical system completely rebuilt with the advice of the maintenance officer who came to us. Lastly, we bought a 20 KW microprocessor voltage regulator 1 month ago. Our expenses for these works exceeded 2000 Euros. We pay maintenance fees to keep the elevator running. It is not even clear where the fault originates from. It is called driver failure, it is impossible to interfere with the driver from outside except the Kone authority. It is said that an electrical fault with the code F0120 is read.

Why can't we use the elevator that we have regularly maintained by Kone? Our apartment has 10 floors and there are families with elderly and children. We are all mad. We do not anticipate that anyone will move into a building with a Kone brand elevator from now on. Kone will remain in our minds only as regret and sadness. We are victims of our money. I hope an official who hears our voice will help us because Kone services in Turkey do not solve our problem. If you do not help us with our problem, from now on, we, as the apartment, will seek our rights in front of social media and the law with the documents we have. We will make an effort to keep all our acquaintances away from the Kone brand.
