I would never go with Koodo again…
I would never go with Koodo again (unless they completely change the way they treat their customers). I have already spent 3 hours of my time trying to get a person in customer service and their stupid AI bot doesn't understand my request and gets in to a loop. I will be switching to another provider soon here. Absolutely worst experience.

Be very careful before signing up with Koodo.
Before you become a customer, they call you repeatedly and answer the phone almost immediately. However, once you sign up, getting support becomes extremely difficult. Trying to reach customer service feels like trying to contact astronauts in space.
I signed up for a $39 per month plan, but in my experience it was not worth even a fraction of that price. The phone service was unreliable, and the internet frequently did not work properly. After only a few days, I decided to switch back to my previous provider, Virgin Mobile, despite my own issues with them.
To make matters worse, I then received a bill for $169. I still do not understand exactly why the amount was so high. The biggest problem now is that it is very difficult to reach someone to explain the charges or provide support.
My experience has been extremely disappointing. Please do your research carefully before signing up.
Beware. Beware. Beware.
If I could give less than 1 star I would.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. The customer service is a joke. Ordered the router and modem May 22, that never arrived, they shipped another, when that finally comes it doesn't even work. Someone didnt turn the internet on for us on their side (we were told everything looked fine over the phone by multiple agents). When we finally got someone competent, they told us they out in the request for internet for us, but apparently these idiots dont have people working tbe weekends so now we have to go ANOTHER weekend without internet due to the incompetence of this conpany. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS POOR EXCUSE OF A COMPANY. No effort to make it right on their end either, other than 7 days of no charge for internet we've been waiting on for 2.5 weeks.

Impossible to connect with an actual human being, when you do after waiting for too much of your precious time...the call is disconnected. Switching providers ASAP!

it is impossible to get a hold of someone at there customer services
Inconsistently
I paid back a debt I owed. But I still didn't get access to my account. I ordered a new phone to be delivered. But I never got it and then they said it was delivered by FedEx and it was being hold in Woodbridge. When I have on recorded it be delivered to Brampton.
Koodo charged me a reconnection fee…
Koodo charged me a reconnection fee without clearly informing me beforehand. I never received any email or text warning that this fee would apply. As a student trying to manage expenses, unexpected charges like this feel very misleading. Customer communication and transparency should be much better.
Koodo loves to scam senior citizens
Koodo loves to scam senior citizens, preys on us. Today, I attempted to get customer support regarding a data use message for a 'data warning ' which I've never had before, after trying to get a live agent from the automated customer scamming system, I was informed I was being charged A $5 FEE to do so!
I hung up, then sent them a message to advise Koodo scam company I am reporting this sleazy practice to the CTRC.
Koodo has terrible customer service
Koodo has terrible customer service. I switched to Rogers with more than enough notice to Koodo, I paid my last bill, and not only does the company still send me bills but they have given me a derogatory mark on my credit score because I refuse to keep paying them after switching to Rogers. This company is just not worth relatively cheaper service. Stay away.
Disaster service—they are a scam
Disaster service—they are a scam; don't drag yourself into their trap!!!
Terrible customer service, hidden costs. and lots of lies!!!

The only problem they are 3 hours away from our place.

Our bill goes up every month then after few days attempts we finally get hold of someone they promise to fix it and reduce our next bill, but next bill even go higher!! Today for the 3rd month this happened our $40 plan is $113
We leave this company horrible customer service nothing good. We should have listened to all negative reviews!
I am extremely disappointed and…
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service. My mobile internet has been extremely weak and unstable for the past 10 days across all three lines in my household.
We are paying around $160 per month, yet the service is completely unreliable. My children cannot do their school work and I cannot run my online classes, which has seriously affected our daily lives.
Even worse, the website does not load properly, so I was not even able to submit a complaint for over a week. There is also no easy way to reach a real live agent for support, which makes the situation even more frustrating.
Overall, this has been a very poor and unacceptable experience.

Koodo is a really bad company. They tried to swindle me into a 2 year contract with this kind of phone A17 then, I found out by the saint laurent, the shopping mall. Booth that this phone is garbage. The camera is horrible. The processing is horrible and the battery is horrible..
Very disappointing experience with…
Very disappointing experience with Koodo Internet door-to-door sales.
A sales representative named Ruben D. came to our home in Brossard and verbally promised us a high-speed Internet plan for around $50/month. He even called his manager during the visit and confirmed the promotion in front of us.
Months later, we discovered that the actual contract price was $79/month plus taxes, and we were being charged around $90/month. We never knowingly agreed to that pricing.
When we contacted the representative, he simply said he no longer works for the company and is not responsible anymore.
This experience felt extremely misleading and dishonest. Customers should carefully verify every detail in writing before agreeing to any Koodo door-to-door offer.
I was prepared to purchase a New…
I was prepared to purchase a New Samsung cell phone on-line this morning, on the Kudo tab. However, after reading the summary of customer reviews, I realised that Kudo is probably NOT the service provider for me. My work virtually spans the Nation, and while I can obtain a reliable phone from them, I need to be able to access customer service easily, even if it is only through CHAT. Kudo offers many incentives e.g. no connection fee, but their monthly costs are higher than other providers.
If you dont want to waste money do not choose Koodo
TERRIBLE they have TERRIBLE customer service and their internet is NOT GOOD if you try to get them to help they don't even do anything about it because they are lazy. Their data plans suck and your phone is basically useless if your with them. Its been almost a month of dealing with bad internet and them trying to fix it. Do not go with them if you don't want to waste a ton of money.
Koodo Suspension of Cell Service.
Koodo Suspension of Cell Service.
May 12.2026.
Review to Koodo User's.
I had to call Koodo using the House Phone.
Koodo suspended My Cell Phone Account.
It seems BMO declined the Updated
Credit Card info I recently gave them.
Two things bother me, to the EXTREME:
1) I am not a New Customer.
I am a long time Koodo Customer with,
a spotless payment History.
They are well aware of their Card Update Request & when they notified me.
Yet they didn't leave the Account Active & give me a CALL, TEXT or EMAIL about the problem. With the Semi Emergency nature of a Cell Phone, I do not even know if what they did was Legal.
It's surely POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS.
It shows how little Koodo thinks about the reliability of their Service & the respect they have for Loyal Customers.
2) The Second item that Bothers me.
I have a Talk Booster, as Back Up.
It has 710 minutes still available.
Thats over 11 hours of CALL TIME.
Before Suspension, Koodo should have enabled the Booster & notified me of the Problem.
I now have to follow up & make life as uncomfortable for Koodo, as they did for me.
There were 2 Days I did not know,
My Cell Phone was De-Activated &
WAS NOT RECEIVING incoming Calls.
I honestly hope I can cause Koodo an equal & measured response to their ignorant handling of this Event.
Letting Koodo User's know,
NOT TO TOLERATE SUCH POOR BEHAVIOUR, is a good start.
Then perhaps a summary to the CRTC.
If I still do not get some form of apology from Koodo l should check with a Lawyer to see if Koodo did anything illegal.
If necessary a Class Action Lawsuit might get them to rethink their LAZY STANDARDS of how to WORK WITH THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS rather than AGAINST THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS.
I have talked in length with Koodo Customer Service & this Event has been escalated for review. Based on Koodo's past History of not replying to escalation requests.
I have decided to go the User Review Route. As Koodo doesn't even supply an Email Address to keep this a private matter between Koodo & Myself.
Used to be good
Used to be good, but there have been constant mobile service outages in my city, usually lasting 2 to 4 hours each day. This has been going on for 3 months now, and the company cites Telus equipment upgrades as the reason, but in the end I am paying for service that I am not getting, and have missed multiple urgent calls about my elderly parents during these outages.
