Everyone I spoke to was very helpful as I worked my way through the process. Having little to no knowledge of how to set up an account and accept payments, they were understanding and professional to help me figure it out.

Ten percent of all our charges held indefinitely. When I asked the rep she said you could apply to have funds released after six months but it’s unlikely. She said they hold my money indefinitely. Literally forever. This is crazy. Can’t plan or anything. One has to rethink everything when your margins are 15% and your processor takes 3-4% to process a card then holds ten percent. I guess we aren’t allowed to make any profits here. I love how companies take advantage of those that have been bootstrapping.
Onboarding call was ok. No excitement from the rep. Just another routine call for her. I did not feel like my business had any value to this company. Really sucky experience all around.

I would not recommend Electronic Merchant Systems for your payment processing needs. Their poor customer service and uncompetitive fees created the need for contract termination. After 8 years of cooperation, they became incredibly rude, aggressive and deceptive. They made the cancellation process extremely difficult, threatened fees, made disparaging accusations, and their representatives always had conflicting narratives.

This company is a scam stay away from it all the good reviews are paid people stay way they lock u in 2-3 years contract without letting u know and when u cancel u pay 600 dollars just to cancel and they charge u 450 a month fees and transactions fees no matter what u do they all scam u stay away horrible company Don’t Trust The Good Reviews there fake… Stay Away or u Will Regret It.

Horrible, snotty people. Puts your account on "hold" which then takes them a week to "review" all while they hold your money. Than takes them 48 hours to get it to your account. No letter, no email, no noticication.

EPIC Merchant Systems is disgusting, useless and dishonest. If you want to waste months of time with them starting (or re-starting), that's on you. Avoid this company like the Black Death!!!!!!
