This web site is scam

This web site is scam. do not be fool on furniture pictures. its totally scam. I have purchased coffee table, i received completely rubbish table. and there is no contact number and no help. all my money £120 is waste. very disappointed.

Product not as described, refund avoided with repeated discount offers

I ordered a product from Lakiq.com that turned out to be materially different from what was implied on the website.
The product description does not disclose that the drawers have no slides or retention mechanism and simply rest on the board. There are also no photos showing the drawers partially or fully pulled out, which would have clearly revealed this design. As delivered, the drawers can freely slide out, which creates a safety concern, especially in a household with children.
I contacted customer support requesting a return and full refund. Over multiple messages, the seller refused to provide return instructions and instead repeatedly offered:
- partial refunds (10–40%)
- discounts
- replacements
- gifts
- suggestions to resell or donate the product
None of these addressed the core issue: the product is not as described and not safe for my intended use. After sending a final written notice, I had to escalate the matter through my payment provider.
I recommend potential buyers proceed with caution, carefully review product descriptions, and be aware that obtaining a refund may be difficult if the product does not meet expectations.

As usual dont believe everything you…

As usual dont believe everything you read on review sites! , Our desk did arrive with missing parts and it did take me 5 emails to get a new one shipped and we did end up waiting 3 months, BUT the new desk did arrive and the quality was what you would expect for £300, Its not solid oak but the finish is acceptable and i glued all the joints when i built it, my 9 year old thinks its fabulous and the same desk in the UK was over £1200.
So yes it takes a while to come, sometimes there an issue or two, the language barrier makes for some interesting emails (which part of im missing the desk are you struggling with exactly!) 5 emails later!
BUT it did arrive and it is actually kind of what i was expecting, so if your not in a rush and you want to pay 1/4 of the uk retail price then give this lot ago

BEWARE OF FRAUD

This company is the worst I have EVER dealt with. I've already read hundreds or reviews that are pretty much the same and I'm shocked Lakiq is not being investigated for fraud. What they do is advertise "beautiful" furniture that takes at least a month to arrive, make you pay huge money for shipping and then screw you over. After paying over 600$ for a huge desk I ordered for my husband, I received a damaged piece of garbage. The desk arrived in a destroyed box, with dents, chipping all over the wood, scratches and even an embedded screw in the wood top. That same day I provided them with evidence (pictures and vidoes) per their policy and they started back and forth game to delay a refund which I still didn't get. The company is a joke, they play you for as long as they can proposing refunds of 5 or 10 percent of what you paid or demand that the product be sent back for a full refund. That would be ok if not for the fact that you'd have to ship the item to CHINA and PAY for the shipping costs. They know that you won't and then you're stuck with garbage and at loss of your money. How is it fair to me, when I'm the one that's been sent a damaged item that I paid hundreds of dollars for and I'm supposed to now pay more money to send it back to them when it's not my fault it came damaged ? I already filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission and BBB scam report, and I'm also contacting the Chinese Consumer Agency. I'm also writing to the heads of PayPal and providing them with thorough documentation and pictures, reviews from other people who are going through the same situation. I won't stop until they investigate these SCAMMERS. I advise you to do the same. They know their game and they use that towards their advantage. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I wish I could attach pictures here of what I was sent.

Complete Scammers

Waited months for delivery and when my cabinet arrived the packaging was insufficient and it was so badly damaged some of the drawers wouldn’t open. When I contacted them with the evidence they started to refute the photographic evidence asking for more photo evidence and shipping labels which were long gone. I’d say this company is nothing more than a scam, do not use!!

You will not get the item that is…

You will not get the item that is pictured on the website. Totally false advertising. The desk I purchased looked nice on the site, constructed with seemingly real wood. The product received is super cheap quality particle board and the shelf that showed a book in the ad does not even fit a book it’s so small. The item arrived (after an excruciating long shipping period) with nicks and chips, even visible damage on the front of the drawers. The company does not take any responsibility for damage or false advertising.

Lakiq Computer Study Desk

A Lakiq computer study desk was delivered months late and was damaged in transit. Inside 22 components were of inferior quality. Lakiq accepted evidence of the problems but refused to provide a refund. An over-priced, inferior product sold by a company that provides no customer service.

Product unfortunately arrived damaged... But I received a refund

Ordered a desk. Unfortunately it arrived damaged after it's long journey, which was very disheartening. The company could consider improving packaging to help with this, although could have just been this particular item on this occasion.
After sending some pictures of the damage and some discussion of options I was given a refund. After looking at other reviews here I would say some stringer packaging might be worth it.

I ordered an executive desk from Lakiq…

UPDATE – January 25th, 2026
After the refund was issued, Lakiq continued to send repeated, copy-paste responses and did not meaningfully address the remaining issue. Despite acknowledging the refund multiple times, I received no clear answer regarding responsibility for pickup or disposal of the large, unusable desk they delivered incorrectly.

There have now been 277+ email exchanges, with replies often taking days and repeating the same message without addressing the actual concern. No return label or pickup was ever provided, and the desk sat in my office for weeks after delivery and even after the refund, occupying valuable business space.

The issue is no longer about payment. It is about unresolved disposal responsibility, time loss, and lack of effective communication. This update is added to reflect the current status.

I ordered an executive desk from Lakiq (Order #795455). Unfortunately, the item I received was not what I ordered. The desk arrived in the wrong color and style, with visible damage and chipped components, and no assembly instructions were included.

After extensive back-and-forth with customer support over 170+ emails since November 12, it became clear that the desk I received does not exist on their website, making it impossible to verify or assemble correctly. The product appeared to be a mix of parts from different models and was completely unusable.

The resolution process took over a month and involved many changing offers and delays. Eventually, Lakiq issued a full refund and authorized disposal of the desk, which I appreciate. However, the time spent, inconvenience, and lack of clear communication made this a very frustrating experience.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend exercising caution before purchasing, especially for large or custom furniture items.

Absolute Rubbish, cheap product

Absolute Rubbish product. Firstly item came after 2 months and guess what, it was damaged. Upon requesting of refund, they refused. Now within a month of usage, it’s broken into 3 pieces.

I wish there would be zero stars. We bought this company's lamp via Walmart. The lamp arrived non-functional. They refused to refund or change the lamp, even it is their lamp. Walmart gives no support at all. Our money only goes away. I wouldn't buy anything from this company.
