Absolute Rubbish, cheap product

Absolute Rubbish product. Firstly item came after 2 months and guess what, it was damaged. Upon requesting of refund, they refused. Now within a month of usage, it’s broken into 3 pieces.

I wish there would be zero stars. We bought this company's lamp via Walmart. The lamp arrived non-functional. They refused to refund or change the lamp, even it is their lamp. Walmart gives no support at all. Our money only goes away. I wouldn't buy anything from this company.

Salt, silver and holy water is needed

Advertised as wood furniture, It was MDF, flat packed. Should arive in 30-45 days. It took 80 days after so many complaints. Lakiq are not manifacturer, they are a 'middle person' making money. As a thank you for my patience, they offered me a free unicorn toy, I could pick a colour (Yes, they were serious!) The furniture came in damaged box, wet, some parts bended (MDF and water do not go well together.) Their web advertising info and description is misleading and not correct. So, if you are going for THE experience of your life, lol, go for it! Otherwise, do not go anywhere near this company. (Company??)

Laqik .com stay well clear

Ordered a computer chair.waited 12 weeks for delivery. Found the item damaged,ripped,and the frame painting all scratched and marked.no instructions provided for assembly. And after reading previous reviews on this company (Chinese)can understand why.pity I didn't check them out first. Total waste of money quality is appalling item would have looked nothing like the one I ordered advertised. Now in the bin and I didn't even bother contacting them ,waste of time.

Avoid this website

“I would have liked to give zero stars but it’s not possible – avoid this website. I ordered a desk in September for delivery at the end of October, but we are still waiting and today is December 6. We keep getting the same answer every time: we just have to be patient. I asked for a refund but without success. Do not order anything from this site! I will update my review if things improve.”

I ordered an expensive office desk…

I ordered an expensive office desk (more than 800 GBP). Maximum delivery was 60 days. After 120 days they have confirmed my package was lost. I am trying to get a refund which is proving almost impossible. After around 10 emails they are offering me a 40% refund and I don't get the item? Having to make a formal complaint via my bank to attempt to get the money back. If Lakiq do the right thing and refund me in full I will adjust the review.

Was exactly what I ordered

Was exactly what I ordered, while it took a while to ship I did choose standard delivery, so in all 40 days to ship from china to UK, which wasn't bad. The 24 hour customer support was a godsend especially when the last parcel was held up by the courier. Only thing that would prevent me from making it 5 stars is that the xlc courier didn't help my partner get it over my door frame while i as at work which was something they specialise in. But that's not the fault of Laqik. Overall very good experience

Fraud, fraud, fraud

Fraud, fraud, fraud. Don't buy anything from this company.
I ordered a computer desk a month ago. They came back couple of days later that they don't have the product asked me choose another one.
So, I chose another one, they said that's also not available. Same thing repeated another two times. They suggested something else and asked me to pay another £90. I said enough is enough and asked me to refund.
They started negotiating that they will refund 80% for doing nothing. Then they raised the stakes to 100% refund after I raised a case with PayPal. They are asking to close the case to refund. Once the case is closed, PayPal can't help.
Bottom line is that they don't have any products or they don't sell anything. Bunch of crooks.
Don't go near to them .

Also, they give long replies in Trustpilot and you. But, they just drag on to steal money.
Just ask this question, why do they spend so much time in replying instead of serving customers better. Their profession itself is stealing.

Pure Scam.

Pure Scam.
Received item does not match the photos / description from the website. They charge you for a high spec product, but send a very cheap copy. Support will deny everything saying it's all accurate. Don't buy anything from them. If you already did (like me), keep calm and raise a claim. Paypal, VISA and Master Card have some coverage against this type of things.

Communication has improved and looks like I am getting my refund.

REFUNDS ARE MADE TO BE IMPOSSIBLE
ORDER NUMBER: 801227
So i ordered over £860 worth of items, and straight after (within a minute) i started the cancelation process - which is not easy!
So i decided to start a dispute case with PayPal. Finally, Lakiq have agreed to refund me, and have agreed to discount their 10% handling fee to 5%. Even though i cancelled when there bsuiness was closed in China and they had not started processing, i just want an easy life so agreed to the 5% handling fee.
However, they are now telling me i must cancel the paypal dispute first before they can issue the refund - even though they have confirmed the order has been canceled, wont be shipped, and a full refund minus 5% handling fee will be issued straight away.
Pay Pal have said they can still do the refund, and on the dispute show proof of refund, or just state to pay pal we have both agreed the refund with the reduced handling 5% fee and then pay pal will close the case. They wont do this and say i have to cancel, which sounds unbelivable, which PayPal agrees with, as all sellers/retailers would usually do this.
I have spoken to a lawyer as i can see 1.5 stars out of 5 for reviews and many people never get a refund. Not forgetting that its taken 20+ emails to get to this point after offering me disocunt after disocunt rather than cancelling and a refund.
If someone from high up in Lakiq is reading this i would love to hear why you cannot contact paypal re our agreement like every other company, because how can i trust you will do it if i cancel given how many unhappy customers you have?!
I see you do reply to some reviews, so lets see - all you need to do is confirm to paypal via the dispute case that you have agreed the refund and that you have already cancelled the purchase, which i have emails confirming form your teams, the case will be closed.
You seem to make things so difficult which is why there is a trust issue here.
Once this is done, i will be happy to post a positive review of how you did the right thing.

HOW CAN I RISK CANCELLING THE DISPUTE AND NEVER HEARING FORM YOU AGAIN, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND OWNERS AND MOTHER COMPANIES, IT SEEMS YOU ARE VERY GOOD AT MISLEADING, OR NOT SENDING OUT PRODUCTS, OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS, MISSING PARTS, AND IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A REFUND!!! JUST TELL PAYPAL THAT YOU HAVE AGREED THIS AS THEY ARE WIATING AND I HAVE ADDED YOUR CANCELATION CONFIRMATION AND REFUND CONFIRMATION EMAILS TO THE DISPUTE
This has been 3 days of hard work!
I will also soon give my bill of lawyers to pay pal. It should not be this hard!!!

Poor quality.

Order No. 801227 - GIVE ME A REFUBD - NOT EVEN PROCESSED _ ORDERED ! HOUR AGO - MUST BE A SCAM - LOOK AT ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, AND HERE IS ANOTHER....

Maybe this is the only way to get your attention, if you organise my full refund now, i will delete this and update the review.
I ordered something over an hour ago, yet it wouldn't let me cancel, after seeing the reviews. I spoke to your online chat who wont let me cancel because i started a dispute with PayPal, and said i must email - which i have.
I cancelled the order minutes after making it, this is at no cost to you, no handling, no logistics. But the cancel button says i cant cancel. I do not want to wait 50+ days as i need the 8 chairs before Christmas (costing almost £900) (as it seems everything is delayed with your deliveries - and yes, you say its not in your power, just your delivery partners, so with so many bad reviews, maybe only deliver to China!) The reviews also say everything is either damaged or mossing, then people wait more months for a replacement or you offer partial discount which will be no use to me as i couldn't match the missing chairs... therefore I WANT A REFUND NOW!!! Your online chat team say i have to be patient and wait for the email response because it was 3am in China or wherever they are, and no one is at work yet, but i will get my refund (i have the screenshots as proof of what they said). It still says processing because you wont even know the order is in until you go to work... so just do the right thing, reply to my request and refund asap - then i can use the money on medical bills for my family rather than throw it away on 8 chairs that might never arrive, or arrive in one piece.

I expect a reply, a refund, and then i will in turn do the right thing and delete this review or update it for something positive.

UK trading standards involved due to selling a chair with flammable fabric which breaches UK health and safety laws.

The chair is so bad.

I cannot tell you how shocking it is. It looks like it was made my someone who put together scraps of fabric and materials such as foam and chicken wire together.

Please do not waste any money here. They will refuse any refund request because they operate a below par Temu shop. Yes, worse and lower in quality than Temu!

Spend a few more £/$/€ and go for a REPUTABLE retailer. There are plenty of good ones in China. Just not Lakiq.

Absolute scammers and poor service

Absolute scammers , ordered study table from them ,took ages to arrive and completely difficult to what e saw on the website . Piece of junk cheap wood with no accessories and missing back panels , offered me from 5% to 40% refund or replacement rather than refund , absolute let you down , do not buy anything from them as they will rip you off and ending up getting most junk item you ever imagine ..👎👎

My name is Tim Hutton, and this review concerns my order #797322, placed on 20 September 2025 through the Lakiq website. I purchased the Modern Simple Style Rectangle Timber White Office Computer Desk with Compartment Drawers and Exterior Shelving (White, Table Only, 120 × 50 × 74 cm) for £116.75, plus £7.39 shipping and £2.27 insurance, totalling £126.41.

Since receiving the confirmation email, I have not received the product, no tracking information, and no genuine communication from customer service. Every attempt to reach out is met with the exact same automated message asking me to “confirm the order” and claiming the product is “subject to strict quality checks.” I am providing all the details again right here to prevent any further avoidance:

There is no excuse for ignoring customers, withholding updates, or failing to deliver paid-for goods. I am requesting one final time:

A full refund of £126.41.

If this is not resolved promptly, I will be pursuing legal action and reporting this matter to my bank, trading standards, and all relevant consumer protection authorities.
