Very Bad Service on hidden subscriptions
I have been using Legal Zoom for opening LLCs but recently I have seen their service has become very bad where they start charging subscriptions that I don't need at all. Each time I have to call and waste my time. This time they did not refund but asked me to call back again in a month to cancel. This is real waste of time. I hope LegalZoom doesn't do these shady practices. I reconsider using their service next time.

Legal Zoom gave me a subscription I could not cancel
Legal Zoom gave me a subscription I could not cancel. They charged $249 to form my LLC in 2025 but I never did anything with the company. So I tried to dissolve the company but legal zoom said I could not dissolve it until I paid a lot of money to become compliant or I might never get to open another business. So on 08/16/26 I saw the charge for $249 for a subscription renewal and I called immediately to cancel the subscription and they would not cancel until I dissolved the company. They wanted $400 to dissolve the company when I did it myself and it was only $25. I called and they tried to scare me into buying even more products. I have the form showing the company is dissolved on 08/17/26 but when I contacted them they said they would not refund my money because it was charged the day before 08/16. Legal zoom was the worst choice - I should have done everything myself.

What a bunch of scammers
What a bunch of scammers. Took $499 without my explicit authorization for services I didn't need and wasn't aware I was going to be charged for. Wouldn't give a full refund a day after the charge. Insanity.
