The process was quick and smooth, but the inspector missed a lot of things that should have been caught. The tires were rated as "No issues", but there was a divot in the sidewall of one of the rear tires that required replacement. Also, the test drive noted the suspension as good, but the shocks are completely shot, requiring $2k worth of work. The truck bounces like crazy, there's no way a test drive didn't show that.

Trying to contact you is very impossible. Im always getting disconnected when trying to talk to a live person. After going over the report I have notices some problems with the report that was not in the report. The age of tires and on the passenger 2nd axles there most have been a blowout because its a hole in the guard. Plus you couldn't find the DOT number on the same axle tire was placed wrong .

The testing, videos, and pictures are exactly what someone needs when making a costly purchase sight unseen. It saved me lots of headaches and expense.

The report itself is done well. You receive plenty of pictures. I was impressed with the structure.

The person selling us the vehicle said they were easy to work with when they came and did the evaluation.

At times, it was unclear though, if and when we would receive the evaluation. More clarity in the section would be helpful.

Antoine, the mechanic who went to look at my new vehicle. He made me comfortable with the purchase. After speaking with him and not even having the report yet. I made a decision to at least get on the plane to go lok at the vehicle(2019 toyota 4runner).

Report contained no new information from my original test drive of the car. Identified issues (e.g. knocking in engine on start-up) without any analysis of root cause, cost to repair, or anything actionable. Zero value.

Inspector did a very thorough job of checking out my new car. I was able to purchase it with confidence.

We were very happy with the thoroughness of the inspector's report, he ended up saving us a $26K mistake. The seller's pictures conveniently did not show all the defects that the Lemon Squad inspector showed. The money spent on the Lemon Squad report was worth every penny and if we find another used car that we want we will be ordering another Lemon Squad report on it.

The report that was provided is extremely detailed and essentially tells you everything about the vehicle
Combine it with CARFAX and you have a tremendous amount of information about the vehicle

Didn't provide much insight, and totally overlooked multiple oil leaks. They said to clean it up down there as there might be a leak. It was covered in oil. More diagnostic on what could have been the cause of the leaks would have been valuable. Not much commentary on how the truck drove was provided either. It was basically worthless.

Quality Review

So I used LS for a out of state PPI inspection. I did my reviews on what other users have stated. I ordered a PPI and they were actually able to schedule same day. it took 1 day to get the report as well. I was impressed with the detail on the report regarding the engine and cold start info. There were many pictures of the vehicle and it was documented with the scratches and interior shots. the paint check was not expected nice, with revealing the repainted rear quarter. I would recommend that maybe techs can use a standard ODBI scanner, the one that he ran was a basic scanner. I use FIXd when checking locally. But overall the report was detailed and complete. I was very satisfied with the report and the value for 200$ I did end up purchasing the vehicle, when I was able to run my FIXd it did say that the vehicle codes were reset 35 miles ago which was a bit of a red flag but after driving it home 226 miles I had no issues and no warnings after I rescanned once I got home.

So thorough! Even more in-depth than I expected. I recommend them to everyone!
