Apparent Non return policy (Lexent) shame on you Debenhams h g or using this company as agents .

Bought two light fittings from this company Both were of poor quality and came in about twenty differing parts for self assembly by buyer ! This was not made clear on the website and the fittings and wiring were of such poor quality , metal being very thin and wiring did not appear to be of UK standard .
Bought these through the Debenhams website not realising they were an agent company and that when problems arise they would have nothing to do with it !
Contacted Lexent via e- mail to return the goods but all I got was an automated e-mail saying they would get back to me in 21 working days This didn’t happen despite a follow up e-mail Eventually I contacted the bank and they are investigating on my behalf

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from this company, I have been waiting 2 weeks for a return label after ordering lights through Debenhams, I have now been told another 7 to 10 days before they get in touch, I have sent loads of messages and emails to thus company and Debenhams and had Evri call to collect them on two occasions, but couldn’t take them because no return label has been issued, I will never buy from these or Debenhams again, they ard not interested

I lost both my minutes and money on Lex Tan without any notice or explanation. I contacted them through email multiple times and received no reply whatsoever. Completely unprofessional and careless treatment of paying users.

No warning, no refund, no customer service — just silence. If this is how they treat their users, I can only imagine how many others have been ignored or lost money.

Do not trust this platform with your time or money. Until they respond and take accountability, I’ll keep warning others.

Bought a dehumidifier from them via B&q which came with a 5 year guarantee- but within 4 months if stopped working

I have since called and emailed them direct but they fail to communicate so then tried via B&q - and now it’s 7 months on and still nothing has been done and I have therefore got a refund via my credit card …

Never buy from these cowboys

Very very very poor company

Very very very poor company . Ordered an item in December. It took me loads of e- mails and help from Debenhams to get a return label eventually in March. The item arrived back at Lexent on the 5th of March and I am still waiting a) for any response from them to the refund request and b) for the refund. Absolutely terrible do not buy anything from this company.

Very poor company

Very poor company, they obviously sent the wrong item as they said just put a warm bulb into a wrong colour light fitting! Luckily I ordered through a company who communicated with me to address Lexent lifestyle to get a refund.

Worst customer service I've experienced…

Worst customer service I've experienced online. Bought a Hollywood Mirror from Lexent for my daughter's birthday through Debenhams - over 2 weeks in advance. Despite chasing them up twice beforehand, the mirror arrived after her birthday, by which time I'd already bought a replacement. Contacted Debehams about returning their mirror, who directed my to Lexent. I've spent the past 5 weeks being passed back and forth from Lexent to Debenhams without actually being given a return address or a procedure to follow. Even if I do finally get a return address, I'm very doubtful if they will even reminburse me. BE WARNED - DO NOT DEAL WITH EITHER LEXENT OR DEBENHAMS!

Avoid LEXENT and DEBENHAMS as they have NO RETURN ADDRESSES and give NO REFUNDS


Purchased an LED ceiling light from Debenhams on 8th Jan 2025 but unfortunately it was the wrong model.
Requested a return on 12th Jan 2025 but it had to be returned to Lexent who requested photos of the package using a china email address.
Sent photos on the 14th Jan 2025 to Lexent and Debenhams but heard nothing further.
I then requested Debenham to accept the return and refund my order amount.
10 emails to and from Debenham and I have still not been given an address to return the item nor have I been refunded. No emails from Lexent
Then only option for refunds when Debenham and Lexent are involved seems to be by chargeback or small claims.
Debenhams just send email after email from different customer agents but do not resolve the return problem or make Lexent deal with the return.
I would not recommend purchasing anything from Lexent or from Debenhams if it is supplied by Lexent as their return facility is non existent.

Appalling Company - Do Not Buy From Them!

If I could give no stars I would! I ordered a Hollywood Mirror with 15 LED lights which arrived but had a fault. Emailed Customer Services on 17th Jan & got auto response stating "they were rather busy" & would revert back within 10 days - no response. Emailed again on Jan 28th and eventually got a response on 7th Feb. Having already told them what the problem was I was told I could keep the mirror (that was not fit for purpose because of the fault) and have a 20% refund. I rejected this and explained why it was not acceptable and received a response within minutes saying they would send me a new mirror and collect the faulty one and details of collection & delivery would be sent shortly. Despite sending multiple emails to chase this up I have heard nothing apart from more auto responses that they are rather busy. I'm really not surprised "they are rather busy" given their pathetic non-existent customer service. As far as I can see, Lexent take your money and IF the product arrives and works then you're one of the lucky ones BUT if you have a problem they really can't be bothered with you and just ignore you AND keep your money. Absolute Disgrace! I have referred this matter to TRADING STANDARDS. Please take heed of the 76% of people posting 1 star reviews on Trustpilot and DO NOT BUY FROM LEXENT. This Company can not be trusted. You have been warned!

To be clear: I posted this review on the Lexent website but, surprise, surprise, it does not appear on there. I rest my case. Lexent are absolutely useless and should not be allowed to trade with the general public. Please do not buy from them, they want your money but won't help in any way shape or form if there's a problem and they WILL keep your money.

Stay away from Lexent!!

I purchased a light from this company 4 weeks ago. It arrived but in the wrong colour. Do not order anything from Lexent Lifestyle as you will probably never get a refund if you need to return your order!.

I am trying to return a mirror which was a gift but is not suitable for intended use. Lexent did reply and now are ignoring me. I have had to contact Debs who have told me to wait 3 days to see if they reply to them. I wish I never purchased this and paid attention to who was selling it! Putting me off buying anything that Debs sells now.

Would give no stars if I could. I purchased a mirror from Debenhams website which is from Lexent and they sent the wrong mirror. I have been trying to sort this for over 2 weeks, they said they'd send me a message via Debenhams which I asked why they couldn't just send it to me as they are who I have to contact to get it returned. Now they refuse to respond and Debenhams said they needed a video to which they then said the mirror was perfect so had to explain for the hundredth time that it is not the mirror advertised that I ordered so want it sent back and refunded. Still waiting to hear. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Purchased a table by mistake

Purchased a table by mistake, cancelled it straight after I purchased, they didnt get back to me, I sent many emails which were ignored, they sent out the table to my address 8 days later, I constantly tried to contact them but no reply, had to take the matter up with my bank, finally got a refund after 1 month, now lexent have decided to contact me wanting their table back, I said I was available at the weekend for collection, they said it had to be a weekday, and informed me that if I didnt do as they ask they would be contacting my bank, threatening behaviour from a guy called Bruce. I will never purchase anything from this company again, horrible experience with no customer service skills whatsoever.

I would highly recommend avoiding from Lexent Lifestyle though Debenhams. After purchasing two items, I requested a straightforward refund, but they failed to respond for weeks. When I eventually heard from Debenhams, their solution was to continually ask me to wait for further updates, with no clear resolution in sight.

To make matters worse, I left a detailed review about my experience on Debenhams, but it was never published on their website, leaving potential customers unaware of the issues. The lack of transparency and poor customer service makes it difficult to trust this company!

Try to avoid at all costs!

Bought a light fitting via B&Q on line with Lexent as a Verified seller. Light was faulty and when I contacted Lexent via B&Q they said to keep the light and they would send a replacement. 3 weeks later they are not responding to emails and so far B&Q are being hopeless. B&Q should not use verified sellers and are becoming juts like amazon where they are merely a distributor. Avoid
