I had not heard of your company before- I found whilst doing some research on paint via the internet. Great site and lots of inspiration available. Love the idea of the sticky sample squares. So... See more

Second time using Lick paint and I’m not disappointed. A great paint with a great finish, love it.

Very good opacity. Excellent coverage and drying properties. A pleasure to work with. Excellent paint and a pleasure to work with.

Two tins of paint were completely different colours despite saying the same colour on the tin so £40 wasted! Our email has not been responded to and there's no contact number so no way to resolve the issue, inconsistent paint and no customer service.

Great product. Paint is thick and they even supply a wooden stick to help stir the paint.

The quality of the paint is incredible, deeply pigmented and so forgiving. We used it in all our house, but pink 09 was used for a project in my child’s bedroom. Its not even finished and she is already loving it!

Fantastic quality paint. Depth of colour is great. Chose the gorgeous blue 06 for our bedroom.. walls and ceiling. Big room! Just under 7.5lts

Odering of sample colours in large swatches was a big bonus which can be stuck anywhere to give you an idea how the colour will work.
Samples came through very quick.

Be careful as the advertised colours are very different from what you get. The stock images they use on their website vary from the actual paint. Also, the eggshell paint is like rubber paste that just sits ontop of the wall rather than soaking in. It just peels off in clean chunks after drying. Give them a miss. Go with Heritage paint instead.

I'm genuinely gutted to be writing such a poor review. I had such high hopes for Lick.
Firstly, I adore the colours. I opted for White 03 and Greige 03. Paired together they've really transformed my office.
But...
The application has been the worst of any paint I have ever used. I've literally been chasing my tail trying to get even coverage. I've used an entire 2.5l tin of Greige 03 on a wall that is 2.3m x 3m. Four coats. Every. Single. Drop used and I've never seen such an awful application.
The only real solution is to pay £39 for another tin and honestly? I refuse to do so.
I purchased the Lick paint tray, roller, brush & dust sheet too. It's more expensive than other options and the brush is average. Wasn't great. The real pain is the roller is thicker than most so when I popped to the local hardware store for another sleeve to use, I found actually I couldn't use it.
Ultimately, I deeply regret spending a single penny on Lick products. White 03 needs another coat but something tells me I'll be pouring a load of effort in for another pour result.
I've used Dulux on every other room in the house and I wish I'd just stuck with it. Guess the best thing about Lick might just be their marketing team...

Amazing paint, goes on beautifully. My house is 400 years old and the walls are very bumpy yet we e got away with one coat and a touch up here and there. Love the colour too, it’s just gorgeous - teal

I purchased Lick White 03 and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the paint. The colour was inconsistent and appeared noticeably more yellow than white. Additionally, it required constant mixing to maintain any level of uniformity. Given the high price point, I expected a far better standard. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product and will not be purchasing it again.

Thank you team Lulu especially!
The colour consultation at Lick exceeded every expectation. Lulu was exceptional she took the time to genuinely get to know me, my lifestyle, and my personal taste before making a single suggestion. It wasn't a generic process; it felt thoughtful and completely tailored.
I was going through a lot, and having that level of care and guidance gave me real confidence in the decisions I was making for my home. The end result speaks for itself my home now feels beautiful, cosy, stylish, elegant and elevated in a way I couldn't have achieved alone.
If you're unsure where to start with colour, book the consultation. It's worth every penny.

Once again a lovely paint covers so well and looks amazing! This is third paint colour I have used from the Lick Pro range and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Colours seem great, but the delivery process is terrible and quality is bad.
We originally ordered direct from Lick, who messed up and didn’t deliver in time, despite us paying for next-day courier from their store.
We ordered again through B&Q, but the paint has been mislabelled by Lick, so we got the right delivery time, but the wrong colour. Tried again after specifically contacting the warehouse and telling them about the label mishap, and the same thing happened—right day, incorrect colour! You couldn’t make it up.
To top it all off, the ‘wipe-clean’ eggshell immediately marked. One drop of moisturise and the finish is completely ruined; I wiped with a damp cloth as suggested and it’s completely screwed up. We painted our bedroom a month ago and it already looks dreadful in places.
I tried to complain and they just interrogated me about the painting process, so the blame is clearly going to be on me and I doubt I’ll see a refund…
Don’t buy the marketing—just buy something better quality that arrives on time, is the actual product you want it to be, and stands a chance of surviving a simple wipe with a damp cloth…!

First time using Lick and it’s fabulous, like painting with double cream! Coverage is spot on, it goes a long way too! Love it!

Lick is definitely a quality alternative to F&B, beautiful colours and excellent coverage.
