Disappointed
I bought the green 05 and had high hopes given the reviews that it was going to be a dream to paint with and give me and amazing result. 3 coats...and I could do with giving it a 4th but have lost the will to live.

Excellent Quality Paint
At first I was skeptical about whether or not this paint would live up to the hype. Thankfully I wasn't disappointed. The quality of the paint was excellent. It has a good consistency and doesn't drip. I did one coat initially and just had to touch up a few areas. I did thoroughly sand and prep beforehand as I also had a bannister to do. This paint easily covered a previous, darker purple from another well known brand. I was impressed with the next day delivery and the quality of the packaging that was also recyclable. I did buy two tins, but only needed one and I had a large area to cover.

Sample Colour Arrived By Return
Sample colour arrived by return. Very quick response time. The sample is a peel off / stick on and a really good size to really judge the colour. Much easier than painting a wall or piece of paper.
Sadly not quite the colour I wanted but service is excellent.

We've visited the Lick shop a couple of times now and each time Lulu has given us fantastic help and advice - super knowledgeable, friendly, thoughtful and creative, with great ideas that we'd never have thought of on our own. 3rd time using Lick!
This is the 3rd room I’ve decorated with Lick paint, it’s such a good performer, and good value for money compared to other premium paint brands, I ordered it direct and it arrived in good time. The colours are great, I would highly recommend.

Had to buy more paint to finish a room…
Had to buy more paint to finish a room . Had researched lick07 matt to be my colour . On ordering Lick07 from Screwfix to finish the job found it was totally different colour. Surely 07 matt should all be same colour. Nothing on tin to say its a different colour . Yuri from customer has replaced some of the paint but costly exercise as have to pay a decorator to redo the room. Also the inconvenience and mess of repainting a room . Wouldnt use Lick paint again

Lick Pro (available via trade stockists such as Screwfix) and our retail Lick range are two different products with different formulations. While the colours are the same, the base and finish differ, which can result in a visible variation if the two ranges are used together. For this reason, we do not recommend switching between product lines mid-project.
We can see that our Customer Support team has provided replacement paint to help rectify the situation as a gesture of goodwill.
We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused, the difference experienced was due to use of two separate product ranges. If you need any further clarification on product selection for future projects, our team is always happy to help before purchase.
