A 5-star service once search is significantly improved.
Great variety of artists and tracks… if you can find them.
Just realized two of my favorite bands in the world are on this service. I found them on accident.
This is a 5 star service for video creators ONCE subscribers can see every artist in their catalog. I assume there must be a reason we can’t see everything without stumbling across an artist by accident or just typing each artist we would like to find into the search bar, but I hope this changes soon.
New songs for big artists are seemingly constantly added. A very exciting service.

Every track that I have licensed…
Every track that I have licensed through Lickd has gained a copyright claim on YouTube even after following instructions to a tee. Upload the video, list it as unlisted, and add the license in the caption. Not only that but the songs that have already been cleared get placed on a second copyright claim. My revenue has taken an impact on YouTube from using tracks licensed by Lickd simply by the fact that it takes DAYS to clear a track with the support team. I have used Epidemic sound for years now and never had a problem with a single of their tracks. As much as I love the idea of using popular music in my videos, at the end of the day it might not be worth it with the number of hassles you have to endure to do so. The only person on the support team that has been extremely helpful has been Josh Lally who is courteous and gets on the case immediately clearing the copyright claim asap.

Unfortunately it appears YouTube have incorrectly applied a claim against your video for a different track to the one you've used (and different to the license purchased from Lickd).
This is an error with YouTube's system, and is outside of our direct control. However, our team are trying to contact the rightsholder of the incorrect track on your behalf, to request they remove this claim.
If we do not hear back from them, then we can offer you a refund for the track.
Our apologies again for your experience, and we'll do our best to help resolve YouTube's error for you.

Premium music don't understand
I didn’t quite understand why a service is needed for supposedly premium music, if it can’t be used in any way. Almost every song on YouTube has a copyright icon. your compositions are mostly old and not so popular. how then you can use your music is not clear in this case.

As explained by our Customer Service team (via our previous emails) you are trying to license music for what would be considered an 'art track', where the purpose of your video is purely to listen to the music itself.
These type of videos cannot be monetized in YouTube and any copyright claims cannot therefore be released. This is why you are unable to use our licenses in the way you are attempting.

Mostly affordable music and easy to use
It was easy to copy and paste the content ID into my descriptions. My videos were published without being flagged or taken down. Having hand-picked music makes the quality of my videos better. I do hope there will be a wider variety of electronic music in the future. (I like future funk like Young Bae and retro city pop.)

Good to great music and an incredibly easy copyright clearing system. Doesn’t alway work, especially at weekends, but usually by midday Monday things are sorted.

For the majority of our songs, it takes as little as 30 minutes for our system to automatically clear the copyright.
Tracks from Universal Music Group (UMG) do require manual intervention for clearing your claim, which can take a little longer (up to 4 hours on a weekday, and 48 hours at the weekend).
We're continuing to work on making these times quicker. 👍

Its nice to be able to use popular songs your audience relates to without worrying about that dreaded Copyright knock on your door.
I give it 4 Stars out of 5 only because it seems a bit spendy and some of the songs are not Copyright Free due to International guidelines. I get it but I just wish they would label these tracks a bit better so you don't go through the entire process of scrolling through, listening to, getting your hopes up to download and then be told, "Sorry for your bad luck, you should move to a different Country."
Again, I understand this is out of their hands, just label these songs better's or remove them completely as an option. Overall a fun and innovative addition to your music library. The Free/ Non Copyrighted music offered is of high quality as well. They just need a little better of a player and ways of creating Playlists, I suggest something similar to the way the Epidemic layout is. That would be a nice upgrade. Thank you

Finally! I can monetize!
I love that after years of not being able to monetize my videos, I can actually make money on YouTube without asking subscribers to donate or pay. Another benefit is when a video has a copyright claim, your merch shelf doesn’t show up under the video, so it has helped with awareness of our online shop. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star review is that there have been a couple of instances where a song is available, so I choreograph a workout to it, but when I go to purchase the license, it says it’s not available in my country. I learned to double check that before putting it into a video, but I wish there was a way to communicate that visually without pretending to purchase the track. The other thing I have run into a couple of times is the song is listed, I double check that it is available in my country, then I choreograph it for a video, but when I go to purchase the license, it’s no longer available. This has luckily been able to be corrected by the support team with an e-mail every time, but it is extra time and work. One last suggestion would be that the creators didn’t have to repeat their license information in the e-mail with the video link since the video attribution is already in the description. That would save a lot of time! Overall, I am sooooo pleased that popular music is available for the first time ever for fitness creators such as myself to make quality workouts and make money like other YouTubers! Thank you, LICKD!
