Pho Vietnam Wiesbaden via Lieferando.de


Hello everyone.
Sharing my recent experience with Lieferando.de. On March 5, I ordered one dish from PHO VIETNAM. It was delivered. One week later, I checked my PayPal transactions and to my chagrine, I discovered I was charged TWICE on March 5 and again another charge on March 7. I immediately contacted the merchant and PayPal about the two unauthorized payments. I sent 7 email to the seller about the additional unauthorized charges and PayPal also contacted the merchant. No response.

Fortunately, PayPal refunded the two fraudulent charges.

Upon farther examination of my PayPal settings. I found out that an automatic payment was set up with this seller which I never did!

If you use PayPal, double check your payment settings. There are companies that can easily set auto payment in their websites and can charge you without your authorization.

I have screenshot of the fraudulent unauthorized charges and the reversal /refund by PayPal almost a month after these fraudulent charges.

Bad costumer support

Bad costumer support

Order was 3h late, so late in fact we believed it was forgotten. Tried to call the restaurant multiple but no reaponse. We tried to order at a second place and than the food arrived after we placed the order. Couldnt cancel the second one as well because the same problem.

Tried to reach out to the costumer support of lievarando to find a solution but their responses are a big nothing burger. Very dissatisfied with the restaurant and lievarando costumer support.

Misleading order statuses

Something happened multiple times: I ordered something and 40 minutes later the restaurant didn't even receive the order, because probably you don't have enough couriers. But in the app, it shows as food is being prepared. This is misleading. Also your time estimates are misleading. I am very disappointed with your approach to transparency and sharing information. I will delete your app. Enough is enough.

No Real-Time Support

No Real-Time Support – Frustrating Experience

How is it possible that a food delivery service doesn’t offer immediate customer support? If something goes wrong with an order, getting a reply three days later is useless. Fast service should come with fast problem resolution — not radio silence when it matters most.

WARNING - THEY BREAK DATA PROTECTION

I placed an order, and 30 minutes later, another customer called ME to complain that she hadn't received one of her items. She thought I was customer service because she had received a receipt showing my phone number as Lieferando's customer service number. When I contacted Lieferando, the advisor ignored me completely, they couldn't care less. If you want to keep your personal data safe, DO NOT USE Lieferando.

They tried to deliver to wrong address and stole my money

They "delivered" (at least according to the app) to another address than I provided in the app and kept my money!
After around an hour I placed my order I received a call from the rider saying that he is there, asking me to open the door. However, no one was at my door and as it turns out this guy went to my street and number but a different post code (10247 vs 10409)! He asked me send my location via WhatsApp which I did and he told me that he is 6.3km away. I haven't heard back anything for 20-30 minutes and when I checked in with the rider he blocked me on WhatsApp. In the app I saw my order marked as delivered!!
When I opened a ticket, Lieferando told me that the rider came to my address but no one answered the door nor phone calls. I provided them with the screenshots of the phone calls and WhatsApp exchange with the rider but they just ghosted me, did not even bother to respond. A day later I received a survey from Lieferando asking me about the 'solution' of my ticket, meaning they apparently brazenly closed the ticket.
All in all, I did not receive my order even though I gave them with my correct address and when they were not able to 'read the correct address' but ended up somewhere else, it was somehow my fault..On top they lied about what happened and ignored the evidence that I sent them. Thank you for the worst ever food delivery experience, not only I did not get my food for hours I also did not receive any solutions from Lieferando! Never again Lieferando, I will stick to the other food delivery services.

Update 06.04.2025: even though I sent another email to at info info-at-lieferando.de as the comment below suggested, after a week there is no reply whatsoever! Everyone be aware if things go wrong they will simply won't care and your money might be gone.

App need makeover - customersupport is awful

1.why is the app unable only showing me restaurants which are delivering to my homeadress (yes, it's fixed in my profile!)
It's not funny trying to make a storno (and yes: the refund isn't also easy: I dialed the customerservice: no human at the end of the line. What surprise. So I dialed the liferando-partner-number. Success! A human! Refund in less then 10 minutes.
2. What kind of shit is this: ordering indish food, delivering watersauce with... with what?!?
My daughter became watershitting from this. And no option to disclaim cause the deliverservice is something like "need a plumper - here is the hotline, no idear who'll come"

Really: that's deep deep under zero.
Maybe it's a typical german online-service-problem.
But: if you're want to earn steady money in Germany than fix this problems.

Want your food the same day you order

Want your food the same day you order, use another place as Lieferando will not be ensuring the quality or expected delivery speed is upheld.

So if you are ordering dinner unless you got 2+ hours to wait on top of the expected delivery time, then you may choose this app, but otherwise do not expect service, help or delivery on the same date.

One of the best food i have tried in a…

One of the best food i have tried in a while. With only two complains a bit pricey for a Indian food and quite small portions. If I wasn’t a fan of Indian food now i felt in love with it, really tasty, it was saying delivery time around 50 to 60 minutes and it has been sent and received within 30 minutes. So far the fastest and the most tastier food i had in Germany so far.
Also, one that it was medium spicy it wasn’t really spicy, and another one that was the most spicy it was very spicy, however i know that they usually eats way more spicy than this so I don’t know why this wasn’t as spicy as they usually eat. Still good though. Also the bread was more like a pancake then like a flat bread. 5 stars because of the taste but keep in mind those two complains

Lies

I very rarely review services because I don't think it changes anything and normally I am not one to bash companies. But...in 3 different cases in the last months from different couriers I was told that I should not tip through the app because they never get the money. They also told me they are not saying this so that I tip them right now, they just don't want me to waste my money thinking the couriers get it. I am very angry that the app offers this option and then either the restaurants keep the tip or Lieferando does. You're misleading customers! I don't demand an answer that this isn't true and that you're complying with everything! I want some authority to check these things or take the tip option off the app.

Customer service non-existent

Order kept being postponed until I needed to move on with my life, I can't wait for a delivery for the rest of the day. There is literally no way to speak to someone at customer service. Save yourself the headache, just use Wolt or any of the other food delivery service. At least if there is an issue, those guys have a customer service department you can reach.
