I ordered food from my favourite Italian restaurant in Freiburg My order was given to the driver and he disappeared. It says delivered but not to me ! And driver is now not answering. Maybe interview better delivery persons.

Lieferando failed to deliver my food, and when I reached out to their support team, they suggested I search the entire building for it. I did as they asked but, unsurprisingly, didn’t find the food. Then, they told me to contact the restaurant to see if they’d be willing to cook the order again for free. Understandably, the restaurant refused since they had already handed the food over to Lieferando for delivery.
To make matters worse, Lieferando support told me, and I quote, ‘this is the contract between you and the restaurant.’ Essentially, they washed their hands of the situation.
For anyone considering ordering through Lieferando, please keep in mind that paying a delivery fee doesn’t guarantee you’ll actually get your food,and you may risk to lose the money for food. It feels more like a gamble—maybe better to spend the money on a lottery ticket instead.

Every time I order from Lieferando I swear I will not order again and I delete the app. Then someone convinces me to use it one last time. This time, we got half of our food, we wrote a message and noone replied. After a while they just send us the money back ONLY from the missing items. No offer to bring back the missing items, no apology, nothing. Of course they still charged us 4 euros for delivery costs which don’t even go to the delivery personnel and we are still hungry. This company treats its customers and its employees as a joke.

This app is horrible! I have mentioned several times in the past that they removed the Lieferando voucher and their points program was also deteriorating terribly. They have horrible offers and the points are just piling up.
The customer care agents left with no choice due to the poor leadership within the company said they will roll out better offers in the near future and they are reviewing it internally.
Now these guys have decided to stop the points program and they say utilise all points by 16/12/2024. There are literally no offers to utilise the points. All that has been accumulated will be lost completely.
Absolutely pathetic. Do not recommend this app.

ordered a pizza took 2 hours to be delivered. However it was the wrong pizza. I then contacted the restaurant at the same time as Lieferando support and the restaurant offered to send it again (better solution than Lieferando which didn’t offer this option). I then received an email from Lieferando saying a new pizza is on the way. After another hour I contacted your support team and gave me an ETA which was initially 10 mins but kept moving. Subsequently the order has been cancelled because the driver finished work. When I called the restaurant they confirmed that the replacement pizza had been picked up 10 min earlier. I also did not appreciate the support agent who then suggests the reason for this situation was because I contacted the restaurant and I didn’t “simply respond directly to what the employee offers you” because they foresaw this situation… if so this should have been communicated earlier. If it’s going to take 2 hours for a delivery due to capacity issues maybe new orders should not be taken out this should be communicated upfront

For 3 months I have asked for my last salary and have always promised with the payment to receive next month.
The next month the didn’t do the payment again and over again.
I don’t recommend to use this company for how they deal with with their employees and for their bad behavior with clients.

Never had problems with them, unlike Uber eats.
Stole my money, they delivered half of my order and stole my money. One week past and nothing happened. They didn't refund or even give me the rest of my order. I had the same issue with Uber eats yesterday and they took an action immediately and this is normal any app would do that. Only thieves like lieferando will steal.

The customer service is horrible. An order came without a side dish. We opened a request at the same moment, and we sent several mails during the whole week (and discussed with the AI chat that they have for customer service) and they didn’t provide any solution for it yet.
Horrible service in comparison with the service of Wolt. Wolt is pretty kind, you speak always with a real person and they always provide a solution at the same moment.

We've waited an hour and a half for our delivery and the wait time keeps updating to even longer. We've called the restaurant and our food has been ready for the last hour. No update from Lieferando and they offer no way to contact them and speak with someone directly. Do yourself a favor and pick up the food yourself.

To be honest, reading the reviews here made me aware that what I am facing is nothing new.
I am now waiting for two hours for a small order, contacting the restaurant and they informed me no one even picked up the food.
No customer service!! nothing I can do except waiting for the food and deleting this app afterwards.

Had an order with Lieferando today. Usually it takes around 30 minutes for delivery. This time after 1 hour past I started to suspect and tried reaching customer support.
Sadly before 1,5 hours they don't let you reach to a real human support. Once I reached them after 1,5 hours, they told me no drivers are available in the area so we need to cancel.
Well, you knew that drivers are not available, you made me wait for 1,5 hours to even reach you, and in the end it was cancelled. So waited for nothing.
The funniest part is, they send as a consolation prize 10% voucher like a joke. How about I give you 100% of the meal, to at least let me know 1,5 hours before that there are no drivers.

Lieferando App crashed during the order and charged me for an order that I have not confirmed. The order that they charged me for was marked as "picked up", but we never picked it up and in fact were not even aware that the order was taken. The customer service is non existent - after weeks of waiting they stated that it is my problem and they basically don't care about my experience - that is after I have been a regular customer for years! I am deleting my account and happily going to the competitors.
