Their "funny" end of the year…

Their "funny" end of the year "stalking report" sent to all customers this week normalizes harassment! They sent these out to thousands of stalking victims like myself - it was was triggering and I feel in bad taste in this day and age. What were they thinking??!!
It Signals Poor Judgment and Risk Blindness
A stalking-themed joke tells the public:
You don’t understand boundaries
You trivialize consent and safety
You lack awareness of power dynamics
You didn’t consult trauma-informed voices
For a business—especially one that enters homes, handles personal information, or works with families—this is a serious trust failure.

Legal and Reputational Risk Is Real
Stalking laws, cyberstalking laws, and harassment statutes are expanding rapidly. A “funny” campaign can:
Be interpreted as encouraging or normalizing harassment
Be screenshotted, taken out of context, and preserved forever
Attract backlash from advocacy groups, press, or regulators
Once a brand is seen as mocking abuse, recovery is extremely difficult.

Went online to get the life360 app went through the signing up precedure and during the whole of this process I was not informed that a fee was required so when I went onto my bank account for another matter I found thirty eight pounds had been deducted without permission so these people are nothing but thieves how easy is it that a firm can gain access to my account and take my hard earned wages very frightening indeed avoid literally at all costs

Avoid Life360!

Tile didn't pair with my Samsung phone. The only problem it could be was low battery life, so I returned the tiles to the retailer. I tried to delete the tiles from the app, but apparently there's no way to do that! I tried contacting Life360 customer service via chat (didn't work in the app) and the two customer service numbers I could find on the web were invalid. I tried to factory reset the tiles, but that wouldn't work either.

Too many alerts!

Agree with many of the comments. The technical capabilities are generally good (apart from sending a speeding alert (123mph) on the GWR line out of Paddington Station), but the constant bombardment from the app is really irritating. Way too many and unless somebody in the 360 team makes some changes it’s getting binned off

Refund Issues

It took me 2 long chat sessions and 2 weeks to get my money back on an order that tile cancelled for me a few minutes after made.
Product is good.
Best to buy from 3rd party.

Useless customer service. Stay away from this company

I purchased 4 tiles from Life360 on 1st December for 150 Euros. My account was charged, but I never received any confirmation of the order or details. Seven days later, I contacted them asking about my order with proof of payment, and they claimed they have no record of the order and cannot trace it. Their chat support could only tell me that the issue was “escalated” to a senior team, and after three days, I still haven’t received any response.

Absolutely useless customer service. I’ve already contacted my bank, and they are taking action to recover the funds. Avoid this company if you value reliable service.

life 360 is an Arrogant Unhelpful Company

I tried five times to purchase 4 replacement tiles as I have done in the past . I tried using PayPal, Google Pay and my credit card. It rejected every one and said I needed a USA address to use PayPal. When I contacted them they said they don't accept orders placed using computers, iPads, Pixels and a whole host of other devices. I've used tiles for years but after this they can put there tiles where the sun don't shine 👎🙂

Dangerous and unacceptable inaccuracies

Dangerous and unacceptable inaccuracies

Life360 repeatedly sends false notifications stating that a family member has “gone out” when they are physically present and have not moved. This happens while the person is literally sitting next to you.

This is not a harmless bug. This is a serious safety failure. Location-tracking apps are often used in high-risk and vulnerable situations. False movement alerts can trigger confrontation, fear, or violence.

If I had been using this app during a past domestic violence relationship, these false alerts could have put my life in danger. Being incorrectly shown as “out” when you are not is not a minor error — it is potentially deadly.
An app that markets itself as a family safety tool has a responsibility to be accurate. Life360 currently fails to meet that standard. Until this issue is fully fixed, this app should not be trusted for safety-critical use.

USED TO BE GOOD!

USED TO BE GOOD!

Now its endless new bugs, and problems, and support only have one reply:

It YOU and YOUR phones, its never ever them!

I have 3 phones in my circle, and it worked like a charm, until a few months ago, weird errors, loads of spam noticications (yes im a paying customer, so WHY)

Now i get "detected a trip" many times a day, trace the type of notification, turned it off, now its gone, but support still claims its me or my phones, no reply to screensot of the type i turned off (and its only on MY phone, not rest)

last 3 weeks every had a huge ring around their user on map, so a small place, they would not work, they left them all the time, even the app when opened, said they never moved, again: reply from support: my phone and bla bla..

Well, funny thing, the extra rings are gone, people stay the places they are, and we did not change ONE thing, no upg. of app or anything, but support still: my phone and bla bla

DONT SPEND MONEY ON THIS! - there is absolutly no support, its just spam return on YOU are the problem

Used to be good but now I’ve no idea why I’m paying for this app!! It constantly freezes, won’t let me zoom in and the street view is gone. No one to complain to. Just a bot that tells you to do all the things you’ve already done! Dreadful! I did eventually manage to speak to a human who told me that they know there are issues, but ‘tough’ basically! No chance of a refund. Put up with it and we’ll do what we can if we get round to it!

Pet tracker.

I bought the pet tracker, which was easy to set up and seemed to be working well. Now for the bad part: my cat lost his tracker on the very first day we activated it our fault, I know so we bought a new one. When I tried to register the new tracker, I was told I would need to pay £80. So every time your pet loses their tracker, you have to pay £80 to activate a replacement, on top of paying for the tracker itself and the Gold subscription. Terrible customer service.

horrible app

horrible app. Tought it was the original TILE app, but it's not :(

Consumes battery, popups all the time, and most important once a Tile is linked, you can no longer unlink it and tiles cannot be relinked.

So I have to buy a new tile if I want to use the original TILE app from Tile.inc :(

Costly and infuriating

TrustPilot gives Life360 1-1/2 stars. BBB rates them at D-. I discovered some of the reasons:

I'm pretty good with trackers, having used three different types on animals, kids and personal and commercial vehicles. This one well and truly sucks! After working with it for nine days, trying to track one (1) dog but avoid authorizing rape of my family's personal information, our precise locations, businesses patronized, even our physical activity, and wading through layers of settings that are only necessary for that rape, one thing did became very clear: This "Pet Tracker" is not about tracking the pet. It's about tracking the owner and his family that cluster around the pet.

The alarm for leaving a GPS "fence" was pretty good, a matter of seconds. But the refresh rate (location update) was very, very slow and locations were usually off by over one hundred feet under clear sky. It's no good knowing the exact spot in dense brush, that's 100 feet away from where your running, panicked dog used to be. But in city traffic he'll be easy to get to, eventually, because he'll have been stationary. Dead in the street by the time you find him.

There is no customer service beyond shallow FAQs and fairly good chatbots. But nothing is set up to tell you how to preserve your privacy. You may get a promise that you'll be contacted by phone or email for further help. That won't happen.

I would NOT waste my money on this app

I would NOT waste my money on this app, especially if you are wanting to use it for driving safety/accident awareness. It has failed to alert on two separate occasions there were MAJOR accidents (one being a rollover). My family purchased the top plan for "security" believing that it would work as promised. If I can save at least one other family the heartbreak, it's worth the 5 minutes I'm taking to write this review.

This app does not display real time of location. I could see my daughter is still at her school on the app. She was on the phone to me talking to me on her way home. She had left the school 7mins ago and nearly reached home but it was still showing on the app she was still at her school.
Need to improve on real time location on this app.
