Bought what I thought was an electric no drill blind as I’ve had problems before drilling through the upper recess - instead I ordered an electric blind which I had to drill, but fortunately I avoided the lintel (no fixings included). I emailed LB and a very helpful Naomi emailed me more information. When installed the blind fits very neatly in the recess and with no mechanism showing - the blind body is very sturdy (extruded aluminium) with clever concealed clips holding the blind in place. I did have to reset the blind and control a few times before it operated but there are instructions which detail this (have a paper clip ready or tooth pick ready). From ordering the blind took two weeks to be delivered.

Broken Promises - AVOID
Phoned to check that our chosen blinds were in stock (ready for cutting) before ordering, then ordered. Order and delivery within 5-7 working days confirmed by Vanessa. Just received an email to say that in fact our chosen blinds are NOT in stock and so order will be very delayed. Unimpressed given that they took our money in full on the promise that we would have them by a certain date. Phoned customer services who told us that they don't handle the complaints and to write it in an email. Previous emails have been unanswered! The company clearly promises the world before taking your money and only then admits that they never had the stock in the first place. Avoid at all costs unless you can afford to have wasted a lot of money on a broken promise.

Good Service But...
Their customer service is excellent and they were very helpful when I had an issue with my order but the blind I purchased is already broken beyond at-home-repair.
The brush tape that sits inside the track has already come off (less than 4 weeks) and it went inside the cartridge when I retracted the blind. Now when I pull it down it catches and the edges of the blind are folded, creased, and wavy.
I thought I was being clever by not going direct to the manufacturer but wish I had now.

An excellent product, competitively priced.
I'm alarmed by the word 'lifestyle', but I found that they offered what I wanted at the best price I could find, so I bravely disregarded my qualms.
The company proved to be first-class: they have very clear ordering and delivery procedures, and they were highly responsive to my concern about how long the delivery was taking - a pleasant phone call, followed by a personalised email: either outstandingly good employees or worryingly good AI.
The product itself has surpassed my expectations: impressive design, quality and ease of use.
My only worry was the instruction leaflet. No-one should ever be subjected to a sentence like: 'Insert the blind over the bracket pin'. I don't think was written in English as a foreign language, but it did fail to clarify certain key concepts.
[If anyone from the company is reading this, I would enjoy the challenge of re-writing it (at no charge!). More words are needed, but there's plenty of space on the page.]

Very helpful
Their website was very user friendly and informative, helping to select the right blinds. It took around a week for the blinds to arrive. Very easy to put together. Customer service was also great! When checking out, it doesn't give you an estimated delivery date, so when I messaged to ask, I had an email back the next day to let me know.

Excellent quality blinds and customer service…
Delighted with my rigid replacement slats for my vertical blinds. They arrived quickly unfortunately I had one damaged and had miscounted the number required by 2. Absolutely no problem contacted customer service and 3 new slats despatched at no extra cost and they are up looking gorgeous one week later. Excellent customer service and after care highly recommend would definitely use again.

I have had a very positive experience when ordering replacement blinds to fit my existing track. The website has lots of helpful info to make your choice easier. I particularly liked the ratings they give for various climate control aspects as I really need blinds to reduce solar glare and heat in the summer. They arrived in a timely manner, were well packaged and extremely easy to fit to my existing track. I will be ordering from them again.

Excellent company and the staff are very professional.
I had several contacts with the company before buying 4 Dakea blinds. Jake was excellent on all of these occasions - giving advice about the actual product and then invaluable advice about how to install the blinds. Nothing was too much trouble. The blinds are excellent quality and very good value for money. Also very easy to install - once I had followed the advice!

Made too long, so useless

But the main problem is the first blind of six I picked to try and fit was too long as they added 4cm to it, so it won't slide across the window and just stays stick at one side. I won't try the others or they may say I've invalidated a warranty or something.

Replacement vertical blind slats
