We have used Lighting Bug several times over a number of years. It consistently offers far more choice than other lighting shops, they hold a lot of stock and the staff are both knowledgeable and helpful. We were looking for floor and table lamps in a modern style and found exactly what we were looking for (a very nice lady called Sally suggested them to us). We would highly recommend.

Really great service and a large variety of lighting.

The ordering process was easy and quick. The order arrived within a few days. One item, a glass shade was broken but after a quick Telephone call I received a new shade two days later. I have used Lighting Bug before and will definitely buy from them again.

After having spoken to another supplier, and followed up on email twice, i gave up and called the wholesaler to see who else supplied what i needed.

Joanne @ Lighting Bug was excellent, and a refreshing reminder of what responsiveness, efficiency and an excellent customer experience should look like.

One phone conversation to confirm goods and pricing - an email to confirm my address etc - money transferred / confirmation of receipt and order number - all in about 15 mins total.

I would wholeheartedly recommend both Joanne and Lighting Bug for your lighting requirements - if only all retailers were the same.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. We had an idea of what we wanted for under the kitchen cupboards, they made several offers with pros and cons for each choice. We will return for our next lighting purchase.

Unfortunately they were unable to supply the specific lamp I wanted; it was on their website but was out of stock pending a delivery. I was not aware of this when I placed, and paid for, the order but I phoned to get some idea of delivery times to my off-mainland address the day following the order. When I learned it was pending a delivery I related my experience of trying to buy the lamp at a high street shop elsewhere. Within a day they had confirmed the light would not be available, the money had been credited to my card, and the subject light removed from their website. This is the sort of service I like and would have no hesitation placing an order with them in future

Huge selection of lights and very helpful and knowledgeable staff who quickly answered my questions and offered alternative options.

I found their customer service great recently. They didn't have the exact lamp I wanted (to match another I already had) so offered a similar alterative or to wait till their next order arrived. They told me when that would arrive and emailed me a photo of the alternative lamp to help me decide. I chose to wait and the new lamp arrived exactly when they said it would. It was well packed too. Throughout they were as helpful as they could have been.

We didn't get our ceiling light in the end as they didn't have one in stock, but the money was repaid to PayPal the next day after speaking to them so a good company a safe to deal with. Cheers
