Turned up on time, asked appropriate questions and got on with the job. This took a bit longer than anticipated but the electrician was thorough and seemed to want to do the best possible job. Good at answering questions, checked that everything was okay before he left. I'd use them again.

Unlike competitor, who quoted to replace fuse box to solve the problem, Lindars obtained and replaced only the faulty fuse, at a significantly lower price.

We were very pleased with all the contacts we had with Lindars, by phone, e-mail and personally with their electricians. The testing we had caried out was completed professionally and in a friendly manner. The resulting paperwork was full and understandable. The electrician who attended to complete the necessary work was so hard working. He refused all offers of a drink and did not even stop for lunch. He is a credit to his firm and certainly deserves to prosper in his career.

Lindars did a `routine` electrical inspection in our old house over the course of two days. In an old house, of course, nothing is `routine`. Paul managed to work out where several un-marked electrical circuits went, and identified a few that were doing nothing at all! He worked quietly and unobtrusively through a long list of tests.
The final review was very fair with a list of `snag points`, most of which were explained on site.

On the basis of this, I would certainly recommend Lindars for all domestic installation work.
