The electrician carrying out my job was very friendly, arrived on time and completed the job well. My only slight reservation is that I was unaware that an additional aspect of the job which he asked if I wanted would cost ~£20 extra to the price originally agreed. However, all in all, I would definitely recommend the service to others.

Reminded me a test was due, carried out test and invoiced very straightforward.

Fast service, good time keeping, clear and concise report and great communications.

I hadnt been told when I booked a visit that it would cost me a minimum of one hour - I think you should make this clear on the phone. However the visit was effective and useful and I would use you again - if I had advance warning of the costs.

I just needed a light fixture replaced and a switch changed. The electrician sent by Lindars was professional and the service was good, and though I didn't get quotes for this small job from anyone else I believe it was good value. I'm extremely happy with the work carried out and will be looking to them for any future electrical needs.

Asked if they could fit a Cooker Hob at 10-00am I was desparate,fitter despatched at 11-30am one hour later,job done by 12-30pm ish,perfect.

The electrician seemed very unsure of himself. I had a light fitting which I find difficult to remove because, through old age, I can't now climb a stepladder to reach it, even though I've done it periodically for the last 40 years. I even had instructions written down, but the electrician made heavy weather of it. I decided to have a new, easier fitting . He had to ring someone else to confirm what light fitting was needed in a cloakroom with a lavatory and wash basin. He did the small job satisfactorily in the end though I didn't feel I could ask him for advice.

I asked them to do some rewiring in a kitchen. I had a hefty list of jobs. They turned up to quote when they said, and did the work on time and on budget, even when it turned out to be a bit more complex than the original quote. I will be using them again. Deducted one star for not spotting the issue in the first place but they resolved without further charge so I'm happy.

I was very pleased to get my problem with some lights attended to so quickly. The person who did the work was polite and explained exactly the problem and quickly went and got the bulbs and transformers required.

This was a small exercise, but treated diligently and in good humour. The visit was carried out in the timeframe indicated. The cup of tea was appreciated! Would recommend.

Lindars visited for an annual fire alarm test recently ; their employee arrived on time and carried out the testing. It is often difficult to find reliable, efficient companies to deal with, but I find Lindars to be very efficient, reliable, helpful and friendly.

Their systems for reminding me of electrical inspections due on houses I manage is efficient and helpful. Their booking in of work is hassle-free, their electricians arrive on time and are friendly, their paperwork is prompt and full. Their pricing compared to comparable firms is however not always as competitive as it could be. For service though I would give it a 5.

Friendly and efficient at a good price. Especially like the appt system. Easier when in full time work.

Lindars tried to find a replacement light fitting so that I wouldn't have to have the whole system replaced. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible as the system was out of date. A clear estimate was sent to me for a new lighting track/bulbs....and labour. Once I'd agreed to this, an electrician came within 2/3 days at a time that suited me. He worked efficiently.
