I have banked with Lloyds Bank for many years. The last few years I have taken out Home Insurance with them. The renewal for this year was higher. I rang them up & said I had various cheaper quotes which they matched!
I just went to renew the policy online & for some reason the quote online was different to the reduced quote.
I rang again & spoke to Saidi. He couldn’t have been more helpful! He was polite, patient & took the time to sort it out, considering it was the end of the working day he did not rush me through the process of logging on again & waited until I was happy. Thank you Saidi. 🙂

So disappointing
So disappointing. Unfortunately I have had to claim for landlord insurance under the Halifax brand. The strategy is clear - try to wriggle out of liability. After a year, they’ve admitted. The process is so slow and despite ‘loss of rent’ and other such marketing terms, it doesn’t mean anything. My case is farmed out to a loss adjuster who simply doesn’t care. Seriously consider an insurance only specialist rather that anything to do with Lloyds.

It was a fairly straightforward on-line transaction, although I hate being forced to do on-line things. But you have closed local branches, and lost some of my trade, as I WILL NOT travel 60 mile return journey to nearest branch.

Contacted Lloyds for house & contents insurance. Quote was not the lowest but have faith in Lloyds Bank. Getting a quote on line was simple and after deciding to go with Lloyds the whole process was completed very quickly.

The online process was fine, but you quoted me £100 more for straight direct debit renewal than I managed to get in the end. This erodes my trust in you!
