Lollyd worst bank 15 years later. With totally incompetent staff, telling you one thing then doing another. Terrible processes they don't care if the accidently take money off you and then you don't have food for the month.
They did it with me 15+ years ago and now pulling the same thing with my partner..
I have banked with Santander, NatWest, nationwide, Monzo, chase and not one have them has ever been close to as useless and heartless as lollyds... Avoid at all costs

We had absolutely first class customer service from Sarah Keles at Exeter branch. This is the second time she has helped my father and I and she was brilliant before! Totally professional, considerate and Knowledgeable - she made banking a really great experience.

I visited my local branch after having an IT issue where I was completely locked out of both my mobile and internet banking, all while going through my first mortgage.
This had gone on for 3 weeks creating what was an extremely stressful time for myself and my better half, Lisa Baxter was brilliant at reassuring me in branch and raising ticket enquiries, Andy Astle then took time out of his very busy Saturday morning in branch and got me back online.
Both were dealing with a high workload alongside some challenging members of the public and ere helpful, patient and kind throughout, Thank you!

Ian was very helpful and it’s very good to speak to someone face to face . He gave me brilliant advice and sorted out my problems quickly .
I would like to add, I was scammed £130 which I paid on my credit card and on the evening of the same day Lloyds gave me a full refund and sent me a new credit card in the post the next day. Amazing, I’m very happy with the service and staff .

Lloyds used to be competent. Now? Appalling. Months of waiting on disputed payments. Hours on the phone without actually getting through to someone. Message us features? Hours for responses and then they only answer a 1/3 of your questions and then close the chat 🤬

What should have been 5 stars for how a gentleman refunded £49.95 to me from a scam by voice2text.com, is now 1 star due to the £49.95 reappearing on my account. He suggested I email the company to ensure no further payments would be made, which I duly did after our conversation. Unfortunately, when I phoned for an explanation, I didn't get the same understanding from a lady in a foreign customer service call centre. She cut me off before she gave me a full explanation. The complaint procedure form that I have viewed doesn't appear to allow for all the details. Does this mean I have to write to Lloyds Customer Services, Leeds. LS78 1LB?

I had the most shocking and stressful experience with Lloyds Bank regarding a £60,000 Cash ISA transfer from Trading 212. I submitted the signed Transfer Authority form back on 20th May 2026. Lloyds confirmed receipt on 25th May, but then they sat on my paperwork for over a MONTH, failing to forward it to Trading 212 until 29th June!
To make matters worse, Lloyds’ staff repeatedly got the transfer direction completely BACKWARDS—mistakenly processing my transfer "in" as a transfer "out." Once Trading 212 finally received the delayed request, they acted immediately and sent the £60,000 to Lloyds on 2nd July. However, due to Lloyds’ ongoing internal confusion, they held my life savings in a financial limbo for 12 days, completely lost track of the money, and eventually rejected and bounced the funds back to Trading 212 on 14th July!
Their customer service is utterly dismissive and incompetent. Agents Tony and Claire repeatedly misled me to "be patient" because "investigations are ongoing," completely unaware that the funds had already been rejected. Furthermore, they showed zero Duty of Care for vulnerable customers. I explicitly stated in the chat that I have a severe language barrier and cannot communicate over the phone, yet agent Bev completely ignored my needs and tried to force me onto their telephone helpline, later abandoning the chat.
This 50-day administrative nightmare has caused me catastrophic anxiety and financial distress. I have officially escalated this to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). Avoid Lloyds Bank at all costs—their systems are broken, and their service is an absolute joke!
