The car I booked was unavailable
The car I booked was unavailable but a part from that everything went well.
Check in time very fast and the price for automatic gear are a bit expensive.

Stress free rental
This was such an easy, stress free rental. The office is a short walk from the airport terminal but the queue moved fast. We were directed to where the pick up point was and the associate there went through the car rental agreement and the previous two very slight marks on the car. We got a beautiful, spotlessly clean Jeep Avenger, the option we signed for on the rental agreement was a Volkswagen Tiguan or similiar. I videoed the car as I always do before driving off. Dropped a pin to where the drop off point would be and it was a stress free drop off. They came out, checked the car and I signed the return form and off we went. Quick, easy & stress free. I would definitely recommend this company. We flew in and out of Galileo Airport, Pisa, Italy. Rental 9th-22nd Sept 2026

Excellent, stress-free experience from start to finish
We had an excellent experience with Locauto at Pisa Airport. The entire process was incredibly quick and straightforward, and the person who assisted us when we picked up the car was extremely friendly and helpful.
Both check-in and check-out were fast and hassle-free. The car was in excellent condition, and we really appreciated that all pre-existing damage had already been clearly documented. It gave us peace of mind and made the whole process feel very transparent.
This was our first time driving in Italy, so we were initially a little nervous about renting a car, but the entire experience ended up being completely stress-free. Everything was well organized from beginning to end.
We personally arranged our insurance through Booking, but Locauto also offered very reasonably priced insurance options and add-ons. The security deposit was also very reasonable compared with many other rental companies we had looked at.
Overall, a 10/10 experience. Excellent service, fair prices, a great car, and a very smooth process. 100% recommended, and we would definitely rent with Locauto again on a future trip to Italy.

Receptionist and person in yard who handed over the vehicle were friendly and helpful. The vehicle was clean and well presented.
Downside was the hire was expensive with lots of add-ons that I didn't want and weren't well explained or presented as optional.

VW T Roc
Fairly new car, ready to go on arrival. Renting experience was straightforward.
Only problem was auto hold and the reversing camera were not working on the VW T Roc which was a bit of a nuisance
