Excellent service, quick pickup, and a good fuel policy. I was offered a better car than the one I had booked, for the same price. The car was in excellent condition with a clean interior. Dropping the car off at a different airport went smoothly, with a quick inspection and assessment. I recommend this car rental company.

Great experience with our rental from Pisa Airport! The car was brand new, extremely clean, and very fuel-efficient. It made our trip very smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended!

5 minute walk to the pick up point. Car ready and clean ,just not the one we asked for, but “one in the same category “. Car was fine, returned on time but admittedly very dusty, guy who checked it over was very grumpy. No scratches, no extra fees.

This was my first rental from Locauto, Pisa Italy, never again.
Stay away from these money grubbing clowns, they have no concept of customer service.

Fast administration and staff service, car was really great. Just a small comment: the syncronization between the desktop and the staff at the parking was not the best as the car was not that they mentioned at the desktop 5 minutes before (Opel Corsa), instead we receive a Renault Clio, but nevertheless this was a very good car, thank you!

Booking, picking up, making adjustments arising from changes in holiday plans and return were all done in an efficient and timely manner. Staff were very helpful at each stage so the whole rental experience was executed without fuss.

Check in was efficient and quick, the handover was basic and focused on the inspection of the vehicle.
Shortly after leaving the base, a warning message came up saying the 12v battery needed maintenance. We returned to base and were told that all was ok and it should charge up after driving. We left again and within the first thirty miles experienced several times the aircon and sat nav (CarPlay) cutting out for several mins at a time.
We took pics of the warning messages on the dashboard and decided to return to base.
One of the team (Walter) took the car for a spin but had no repeat of the issue. However, he didn’t question what we said and offered an alternative car immediately.
The rest of our trip went very smoothly and drop off was also very slick.
Despite the initial hiccup, the service from the team, particularly Walter, was very good.

It was a very good experience- very fast and nice location near the autoleggia access/egress.
The VW Rokblok auto was a great drive.
You are now my first choice

I was very satisfied with the rental car I had in Italy. It was easy to find my way around, and the car was nice and comfortable to drive.

We had a great experience renting the car! The pick-up process was very easy and smooth, and Simona was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. She gave us useful advice and clear explanations to make sure everything went smoothly throughout the rental. The car was in excellent condition, very clean, and exactly what we needed. The drop-off process was also quick and hassle-free. Highly recommended, and we would definitely rent from them again!

The positive side is very friendly staff and tidy vehicles. It's a shame that you charge 50 e for fuel filling service! The fuel difference that was missing when returning the car is ok, but an additional 50 e refueling service?!! At the gas station located 400 m from your office? I have rented a car in many 'Renta 'companies, but I have never experienced this anywhere! Shame

I rented a car from Locauto in Padova. Everything went smoothly (quick pickup, a good car in good condition, no issues on the road over 10 days)—until the moment I returned the vehicle in Pisa!
The car was in excellent condition, but the Locauto agent paid close attention to the tires; he spotted a darker patch on one tire and marked an 'X' on the return form. I explained that I had driven on a very dusty road, but he insisted. At the start of the rental, I had taken photos of the car (which was in great shape) but not of the tires—which were indeed dirty but still in good condition to the touch! And Locauto didn't have any photos to show me, either.
I don't speak Italian well, and the agent spoke poor English and no French. I asked to speak to a manager, but he told me there was no one on-site—or even available by phone!
Upon my return, I discovered that Locauto had charged €300 against my security deposit! That’s more than the cost of a pair of tires—tires that certainly weren't replaced; they were probably just washed! It amounted to an extra 60% on top of the rental price! I filed a written complaint via the broker... but no response after 3 weeks.
It’s like those negative stereotypes people tell about Southern Italy!

Quick and fair

I had a problem with another car rental company and it was very easy to deal with Locauto. Everything worked well and the car fitted our needs.

The procedure of renting the car went well, the car was pretty good.

Very fast pick up and drop off, nice stuff. We got brand new ford puma. Totally recommended!
