We had great difficulty getting petrol…
We had great difficulty getting petrol before returning the car. We tried three different petrol stations, all of which were out of petrol. As we would otherwise have n=missed our flight we had no choice but to return the car without refilling. This cost us a "refuelling fee" of €50.00 plus the petrol at an elevated price. This left us feeling we had been badly treated.

We completely understand how frustrating this situation must have been. To help customers avoid last-minute delays and stress when heading to the airport, Locauto offers a Pre-Paid Fuel option, which allows you to return the vehicle without needing to refill it yourself.
When the vehicle is returned without a full tank, the Refuelling Service fee and fuel costs are automatically applied in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined on our website (locautorent.com) and signed at the start of the rental agreement.
We regret that this was not communicated clearly at pickup, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve how we inform our customers. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a smoother experience in the future.

Superband friendly experience!
Very friendly people, at the pick up office and at the parking lot. We took the full insurance via booking.com, they did not fuss about it as some other car rental companies always try to rip you off with extra insurances. The car itself was very new and clean. We had to return the car before office hours, but this was no problem and very easy to find, also the keybox was easy to find. very good experience!

My favourite car hire supplier in Italy
Quick pick up, no pressure selling, new car with only 4,000 km and no problems during 4 week rental. Easy drop off, quick inspection, no surprises and nothing else to pay. I recommend Locauto.

Always a quick check in process, Cars have been very new and clean. Never any issues with return process. My # 1 Car rental company for the foreseeable future. I find car rentals are so stressful with all the horror stories out there. I'd rather pay more for peace of mind

LocAuto rent a car
First of all LocAuto doesn’t take the huge deposit like the other companies. That was a reason why I booked with them. Secondly, they accept debit cards. This is super-flexible company. I got cool car with automatic gears. It was amazing time in Italy thanks to this car. I’m very happy!!
