Lodge Brothers are an independent, employee owned funeral service. 7 generations of our family have been helping local families in their time of need. For 240 years we have provided funerals, both modern & traditional, with reverence and compassion, for all faiths and the non-religious. We can facilitate cremations, burials, direct cremations and remembrance services. We bring our Lodge difference to every service offered including our own legal team (providing wills, probate and lasting POAs) and our highly skilled masons providing unique memorials, inscriptions and design work. We have a dedicated Funeral Plan Team who can help with planning for the future with a funeral plan or funeral wishes. We also supply floral tributes, Orders of Service, cremation urns and keepsake jewellery.

Everything from start to finish went without a hitch. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful horse drawn hearse and all the guys connected with that made it go so smoothly. The celebrant James Coombes conducted the ceremony with perfection. Thankyou everyone for making Jill's send off just right.

From our first meeting with Claire to the excellent service which was conducted with care by Jack to collecting our mums ashes the customer service has been excellent. Memorial Stone
We had a memorial stone for my dad grave made by Lodge Brothers Masons . We were pleased with the whole process form choosing the memorial stone which was Granite Book, to the engraving of the stone. The stone looked just like the proof. We also had a picture was is clear and a nice touch to the wording and memory of my dad. Thank you Mary ( memorial Administrator)

Outstandingly professional with understanding, warmth and empathy.
Both ladies were absolutely amazing. Attentive, sympathetic and honest. There were some small miss communications though who is responsible for these could never be truly understood. My experience was that, when I highlighted the miscommunications, they were addressed immediately and everything possible was done to address them. I am also very grateful to all the staff who accompanied my mum and drove us all to and from the crematorium. They were so absolutely respectful that, even when ‘we’ tried to make jokes, they stood firm with their professionalism. Their warmth and support was evident throughout.
