They advertise flight tickets at low prices, and I spent two full days trying to find suitable tickets. When I finally booked them, the booking was cancelled and the prices increased. I spent another entire day searching and saw that the tickets were again being offered at a low price. I booked them once more, and again the tickets were cancelled.

When I asked what was going on, I was simply advised to buy tickets from another airline.

I don’t understand why they are selling tickets that cannot actually be purchased, and I have now wasted three days trying to find suitable flights.

I tried to book my flight, they deducted the money and gave me no flight tickets. upon contacting them they said that they did not receive my money and after i gave them evidence that my bank can attest to the transaction, they stopped responding to my emails. I eventually got the money back after an investigation by my bank. i had to get another company to book my ticket.

Bait and switch. Always. When you get to the point you need to enter payment details you get notified of a sudden price change. It always happens and there is a massive amount of similar issues online.

Avoid like the plague! They show you a good price and after filling in your details they require you to pay 35 gbp (pounds) and they tell you that the ticket does not exist anymore. When you go back you see that it's still listed.

It wasn't clear when I booked that the checked luggage isn't included and I needed to add it later for more money.

I saw the best price on this website and started booking. After entering all my data and proceeding to payment, I got a message saying the price has increased by 80 euros.

I tried searching on the next day and again I see the low fare first but after entering my data, the price automatically increases.

Waste of time.

I booked a €425 Lufthansa ticket through lol.travel. When my event in Frankfurt was rescheduled by one day due to a UEFA high-security match, I asked to move my flights forward by one day. Lufthansa themselves confirmed that rebooking was possible — but since the ticket was issued by lol.travel, only the agency could process it.

lol.travel’s response? A scripted refusal and an “offer” to cancel the entire booking for a refund of €20.89. That’s less than 5% of the ticket price.

This is not customer service, it’s a trap: once you’ve booked, you have no flexibility, no support, and no way out if plans change — even if the airline is willing to help.

If you value your money, your time, or your sanity, avoid lol.travel. Spend a little more and book directly with the airline, where you at least have options.

We booked a travel package through this agency that included two stopovers. However, the first flight was canceled, causing us to miss our connections. The agency completely ignored our situation. When they did respond, they simply shifted the blame to the airline and did not assist us in booking the next flight. As a result, we were stranded at the airport for 24 hours with no support or solutions. Their service was absolutely terrible. We strongly advise avoiding this agency at all costs.

Avoid lol.travel at all costs. They lure you in with promises of free baggage and the lowest prices on partner sites like Momondo, but as soon as you click through to their site, the price jumps and the “included” baggage suddenly disappears. Their advertising is completely misleading. This company is a scam – save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.

Lol travel.
Is a scam company. They took credit card details then they told me the cart had been declined.
I gave them another cards details which went through at 296 pounds instead of 260
Then later looking I saw that from my credit card they're taken 1 pound then they took 1,000 pounds and
then they took 1,500 pounds.
I tried to call them as Id not received my flight ticket.

I have tried calling them and they've blocked me.
So I'm out of pocket over 3,000 pounds with this company.
One of my banks have said they are not legitimate their scammers and looking at the posts that's exactly what they are!
On one bank statement it says lol travel
On another statement it says love holidays!
Please by thinking your saving a little bit of money your not .
Don't give this company any card details!

I had a very disappointing experience with lol.travel. After my flight itinerary was significantly changed, I requested a refund. The airline confirmed that they approved the refund and transferred the money to lol.travel weeks ago. Despite this, lol.travel has not returned my money.

I have filed a formal complaint with the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) and reported the case to ECC Sweden. This has caused me a lot of stress, especially since the tickets were a significant financial expense for me.

I strongly advise others to avoid booking through lol.travel. If anything goes wrong, you may be left without support or your money.

We requested the agency to handle a sudden change to our return flight, and their response was extremely fast, professional, detailed, and tailored to our situation.
Despite the complexity of our request, they were able to adapt to our payment constraints and provided us with a suitable alternative.
All of this was done step by step, with an astonishing level of professionalism, and within the same evening !

Booked a Misano hotel via lol in November 2024, for a stay in June 2025. Hadn’t used them previously and was concerned about the reviews, that I read after booking, but everything was fine. No issues.

I booked a hotel with lol.travel, I had a 7night stay in Menorca for £350. Everything was booked and i finished my trip in the hotel i booked. The communication could have been better, in terms of giving me more information about booking confirmation. I had to email and ask. Otherwise it was fine.

Tried to book a flight, got hit with 140e "Management fee" right after I've entered all the details and was on my final "Payment" step. This is what is called "scam".

it gives you at first the best price, then when you reach the payment stage, it adds a fee out of nowhere "coût de gestion". Making it even more expensive that the official website of the airline

When I was looking for the ticket for me and my family it gave me after the person information part 100€ more than before. Very dissapointed.

I booked a flight with lol.travel at the beginning of March through their website. I never received a confirmation email, though my booking was visible on the website.

In early May, my flight was canceled. The day after receiving the cancellation notification, lol.travel offered an alternative flight. Unfortunately, this alternative didn’t work for me as it was significantly different from the original. I requested another option, and they suggested a second flight. At this point, I was also informed that I would have to pay a €55 management fee, which, according to European law, is not legal.

The entire communication process took place through a chat function on their website. The flight options provided were just text and numbers, which I had to use ChatGPT to decipher. There was no clear, understandable overview of the changes, neither in the chat nor on the website, which still showed my original booking.

The chat function itself was frustrating. I could only access it via an email link, not directly on their website. I also tried calling their helpdesk, but the number didn’t go through.

After losing confidence in their ability to offer a suitable alternative flight, I requested a refund for my original ticket. Unfortunately, they bombarded me with additional management fees and other costs that they refused to refund, meaning I would lose over €100 in total.

I’ve filed an official complaint with the European Consumer Centre to get the unlawful charge refunded.

Overall, this experience was incredibly unpleasant. The communication was unclear and disorganized. I will never book with lol.travel again.
