Smooth experience
Positive aspects: I purchased the special customer care package and my mails were answered timely. Less positive ones: I had to ask for the company booking number (I think it should be provided in the confirmation amail) and there was some confusion about where I had to check in online as they were several airlines involved.

Online check-in is a service that allows you to obtain your boarding pass and can usually be done on the airline's website from 24/48 hours before departure. lol.travel offers you the possibility, for a small additional charge, to check in online and be personally assisted in the process. If you have not purchased the online check-in service with us, we advise you to check on the airline's website all the useful information about check-in, namely: what the procedures are for checking in, whether there are any penalties for not checking in online and when it must be done.

Whenever I had something to ask they replied to me as a fast as they could ( and they are really fast!!), if you register and book a flight, they will send you emails with discounted flights it’s really great since I travel a lot !

Very poor communication stay away
I have been trying to get through to lol travel for a week now in relation to recieve my refund but they keep hanging up on me when I call and in que for 10 minutes every time . Plus they add on there own booking fee that is not on the price advertised.

Misleading pricing
Once you choose a payment method at the checkout page they update the price by adding a management fee (70EUR in my case). The checkout page is designed so that it's almost impossible to notice the price increase. I only noticed it because I was actively looking for hidden fees as I had been notified by other negative reviews on Trustpilot. Otherwise, I would not have seen it, and they would have overcharged me without my knowing.
P.S. It is pathetic how lol.travel handles the negative reviews on Trustpilot. Responses lack good customer support practices. It seems like the person replying to reviews is the owner of lol.travel himself. He blames it on the unhappy customers trying to justify his malicious practices. The guy sounds passive agressive.
For example, just look what he’s is going to come back to me with.

It is clearly visible in the right place that is summary costs box, the place where you can check final price and all cost items. To be honest, it is not clear what you mean by hidden since the costs must all fall within that summary and that is where they are.
We would like to add that we solve a number of problems through this support channel, you can look at the average response time data and the indications we give in the case of active bookings with problems, if you refer to reviews that do not have an active underlying booking we are very sorry but we can only explain what is required, but there are no operational indications that we can give as there is not a booking.

It was easy to book, but I struggled to get communication in english. Prices are fair.
The ticket does not come on the same day, which causes anxiety. But it was emailed the following day after I wrote requesting for it. The overall experience was good

always change prices when you're about to pay
I'm often redirected to lol.travel from skyscanner, and when I check out the info on lol, the prices are different. And what's worse is that once you select your tickets, add the passenger info, and are ready to pay, suddenly they change the price! You can't trust them. Plus their customer service is non-existent. Avoid at all costs!

My fellow future customers, I recommend lol travel for your future business with them.
They are secure and reliable entity for purchasing your flight ticket.
On July 4th, I went online hunting cheapest flight tickets for urgent departure on July 5 from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Accra, Ghana, forgetting the risks of buying online from any website.
They had the cheapest ticket for €496 and I immediately bought two tickets.
After payment, I got the pop-up message saying that your unconfirmed reservation has been forwarded to the flight entity for confirmation, and you will receive feedback within 48 hours.
To the above, my security alert woke up, but it was late. Because I needed the tickets urgently. I felt insecure, and making it worse, after few minutes, I got an email alert and when I checked, an email from the named organisation read that my travel reservations was cancelled and I am going to get refund according to the financial institution procedures in keeping with the law.
To the above, I felt that I had lost the money paid.
I immediately ran to my bank (Postal Italia) and reported with an appeal to block the receiver.
After my bank investigation, they confirmed that the lol.travel is a legal entity, and the emails are from them.
So, I should await the refund time mentioned in the email I received.
My fellow customers, I was not still satisfied due to the urgency of buying another tickets and I can't get the money.
To end up, after arriving from my bank, I got my refund in 3 hours within my account.
Thanks to the entity, and I am your business partner for life.

Got all the way to the end of trying to book a flight and the 101 add ons they am want to sell you, only to realise they don’t take Amex. So abandoned the basket and booked with another company. It’s odd that an “online travel agency” specialising in everything online doesn’t take one of the biggest worldwide travel payment cards. Oh well. Booked via the Italia section of the site.

Overcharged and Poor Service!
I booked a flight through lol.travel and was shown a price of €293.20. But, I was charged €313.73 instead. This overcharge is NOT okay.
I did not get any warning of price change.
Also checking the price now on their website - it still shows €293.20 (so price for the flight has not been changed).
I contacted their customer service with proof, but they have been slow and unhelpful. This mistake and poor service have made me lose trust in lol.travel.
If you use lol.travel, double-check all charges. I hope they fix this issue and improve their service.

Surprisingly good
Surprisingly, one of the good online travel agencies! They've replied very fast to my mails, I got my money back in record-time for a cancelled flight... I usually try to not use OTAs, but here I don't have any reluctance & could recommend them.
What I did not like: somehow, the language for one of my bookings was Italian. Don't know if I screwed up or something on their side.
And the hotel selection is not that broad, but was sufficient after all.
