Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 608 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently report serious dissatisfaction with the product quality, finding items to be substandard, thin, or having wrong materials mentioned, like polyester described as pure silk. People noted substantial issues with the items not matching online advertisements, including receiving incorrect items or pieces looking quite different from the photos shown. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that the refund process was sometimes expedited once returned, with one consumer mentioning a quicker refund after sending an item back. However, some customers were dissatisfied with the return procedures, being told returns must be sent to Canada, often at the consumer's own considerable expense. Moreover, reviewers encountered complications such as having to provide photo evidence for returns or facing unclear policies regarding return shipping costs.

Don’t be fooled !

Much like all the other comments on here I wish I’d read the Trustpilot reviews before ordering. I knew I’d made a big mistake when I received the emailed shipping notification from China! China ??!!!! Given this and the shocking online reviews, I contacted my credit card company and initiated the charge back process. As the charge back process prompts you to first contact the supplier prior to raising the issue I did just that, it very quickly became obvious that the ‘person’ answering these emails was not likely human, some kind of very polite AI chat bot. In short they offer refunds and discounts etc that they suggest and then ‘deny’ after running it by their so called accounts department, it’s laughable and a complete waste of time! A definite lesson learnt before ordering online from a company I’ve never heard of before, stay well clear!

Don't touch Lune London

Looks like the company might have stopped trading. Emails to customer service get bounced back as undeliverable, Canada Post unable to deliver the item I returned, and the website unavailable.
A total waste of money on the clothes I bought, and the postage to Canada to return.

DO NOT RECOMMEND

DO NOT RECOMMEND — AVOID THIS WEBSITE

I ordered an item from Lune London and never received it at all. I contacted them straight away to let them know, and they said they were looking into it. Eventually, they accepted that the item was being returned to them (as it never reached me) and confirmed I was due a refund.

Since then, I have sent countless messages via their website contact form asking for an update on my refund — and have had zero replies. I also tried emailing their customer service email address directly, but every time the message bounced back saying their server was unavailable — so there is literally no way to get hold of them.

It has been a long time now and I still have not received my money back. They take your money easily enough, but when there is a problem, they vanish — no replies, no contact, no refund.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Unreliable, unresponsive, and completely untrustworthy. Save your money and shop somewhere else — you will only be left out of pocket and ignored.

I brought some espadrilles from Lune…

I brought some espadrilles from Lune London. They did not arrive and the tracking was still reading 'status unknown' on the date they were meant to arrive. So I went on the website-that had disappeared. I emailed the support email that came back with a DNS domain failure. I screenshotted everything, contacted my bank and disputed the payment. As soon as whoever has the bank account realised my bank had returned my money to me, a different company 'Amarae' emailed me asking me to reverse the dispute and suddenly some espadrilles were sent and arrived. They are not quite the same as the photos. They are reasonably close but cheaper imitation in this case. But interestingly there is a sticker on them saying they came from Canada even though I can assure you all the postage tracking came from China. The quality is definitely cheap Chinese knock off as well. Amarae suggested if anything was wrong to email the support email- I did- it still comes back with a DNS domain failure. 100% do not buy anything from Lune London and if Amarae are a front, I'd advise not them either.

Despicable service. Total con. They take shipping fee just not telling you about/check the bill. Address firm in London than in Nederland in fact Canada. Products made in China fact well hidden. Refund impossible.
They never answer your questions or respond to the email. Delayed delivery. Am referring them to the Trading Standards. Highest time someone did. Appealing to everybody who has been conned by them to join me. J.D England.

Terrible

Terrible. Don’t order anything from this sham company.
I returned shoddy goods a month ago at a cost of £27 and still haven’t had a refund. They offered a discount if I kept the items, I refused, and they only offered a partial refund.
They’re not a UK company … and goods are unlabelled and very poor quality.

Further to my previous one star review

Further to my previous one star review, I’ve now received an email stating that my item was damaged in transit and another “will be sent out as soon as possible”.

But here’s the thing….the item was ordered from “lune London” and the tracking was for CNE shipping from china. The email I have received is from a company called “amarae” and they say the failed (completely fake) “delivery” was by evri. All they’ve shown is a very generic screenshot of evri’s “we’ve got your package with no specific item info.

I have absolutely no faith at all that I’m ever going to see my item. Please avoid these horrible, disgusting scammers.

Lastly, on the subject of the different company/website name (lune London to amarae), when the lune London site stopped working I was receiving a warning message that it was a page “impersonating another site and may be trying to steal your personal information”

AVOID!

LUNE138964

LUNE138964 - I had an issue where a dress arrived and it was not in any way looked the same as the pictures or description, they agreed to this and agreed to issue me a voucher code to spend money on their website, this was on 27th July and I emailed this morning and none of my emails are going through they are all undelivered and voucher code is not working. I've had an issue with them since the day I bought this dress and clearly havent bothered to resolved it, it was all lies that they have told. shocking customer service.

Late, wrong fabric, poor cut and ill-fitting, not at all as advertised.

Item arrived much later than promised so I couldn't wear it for the occassion I had purchased it for ( when I saw it I wouldn't be seen dead in it anyway!)
Poor fit and badly cut.
Described as 95%cotton, flowing and lightweight....in reality it was jersey, nothing like the description, and looked like an old woman's nightie! Not at all as portrayed on the website.
Now in the process of returning it which they say could take 8weeks via international mail, and at my expense.
I too have been offered coupons instead of returning the product. At 83 Euros it was not cheap and I want my hard earned cash back!!
Considering contacting trading standards.
The company have a UK address and one in Holland....why should I have to send the rubbish items back to China and pursue a refund which could take months?
NEVER AGAIN! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!😡😡😡😡

It's a scam site, email address and website no longer exists.

I am a bit shocked finding out I've been scammed, I received the shoes in the wrong size, emailed about a refund and got a response right away and was told I could refund to Canada at my own expense which made me a bit worried but the conversation with the customer support seemed ok so I shipped them to the Canada address which cost a lot, £40. Two weeks after shipping the boots I emailed for an update and the email address doesn't work and neither does the links of my order to the website and none of the links on Google work either. It's a complete scam!

Charleston’s !!!! Don’t do business with them

I totally agree with other reviewers. Steer well clear of this company they are a bunch of clowns. I bought a blue striped woman’s shirt which was marketed at £81.99 and on offer for £40.99. Alarm bells should have started then!! Said quite clearly ‘free shipping’ well that’s completely untrue, unless the garment is over a certain price. Shirt arrived looking like a piece of rag with no washing instructions?! Dodgy to say the least. Poor quality and definitely not worth what I paid let alone £81.99. Will never use them again and will pass the word on as much as I can. Chareltons!!!!!!

not satisfied with service from lune london

I have been in dispute with themn for a month regarding an item i did not order but which they charged me for. It did not appear in my basket when I ordered a separate garment!. they have consistently blocked refunding me the payment or accepting return of the garment.
3 emails sent this week were 'undeliverable' and today their website is inaccessible/not there!!
i want to exchange the other garment, wrong size! They offered me a discount voucher to re purchase at no cost and keep the original? i find it all very strange and disconcerting! I will no longer buy clothes on line!!
Dreadful experience!!
